Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2514: Chapter 1848: Defensive Counterattack (Part 2)

...

That day passed quickly, and Bai Xiaosheng’s group remained calm and composed, with not a single move.

Far away in another country.

Yang Xiaoyun sat in the living room of one of his residences, drinking health soup while listening to his daughter, Yang Yishan, report.

At present, Maiwen Transport Company is under Yang Xiaoyun’s management, with Yang Yishan responsible for establishing connections, including interactions with a third-party company.

Yang Yishan is also closely monitoring the activities of the Huaxia Business Group, ready to update her father at any time.

Especially today.

Because today is the proverbial showdown day, under such tension, the Huaxia Business Group might have an intense reaction.

Unexpectedly, apart from initially contacting Yang Xiaoyun through the Aisha Emirate, no official action has followed from them.

”Maiwen Transport Company and the third-party stimulated Bai Xiaosheng, and yet we haven’t received any call from them, nor have we seen anyone come from there, not even a complaint.”

Yang Yishan sneered, ”I think they can only swallow this up without saying a word. After all, we have planned everything nearly perfectly; they have no contract, nor any leverage against us. Even if they protest, we’re prepared to counteract them completely. I suppose they recognize this point; hence they are keeping quiet despite feeling wronged!”

Yang Xiaoyun listened to her daughter’s report leisurely while finishing the soup, then set down the bowl, wiped the corner of her mouth with a white silk cloth, and said, ”We cannot be careless! Ensure close monitoring! Simultaneously, fully utilize the contract signed with Bai Xiaosheng’s group to wear them down, exhaust them. If Bai Xiaosheng’s side initiates a lawsuit, all the better!”

Yang Yishan nodded at once.

Yang Xiaoyun paused and added, ”This matter was handled meticulously between us, but we must guard against those people, especially Bai Xiaosheng. He’s not one to be underestimated. Previously, Bai Xiaosheng stirred up quite a commotion here, even dared to encounter Brown. It’s hard to say why Brown settled down afterward; perhaps because they are under the same group. But from what I know about Brown, he won’t easily take a loss. Surely, he is devising a plan for revenge. This time, I want to create an opportunity for Brown. If he gets involved again to tackle Bai Xiaosheng, that would indeed be interesting!”

Yang Yishan, upon hearing this, showed a smile, saying, ”Dad, you truly are clever, even considering external factors like this. I’ll have Maiwen Transport Company and that third-party enterprise stir things up in the cooperation with Bai Xiaosheng’s group! Let those contracts become a mire; even if Bai Xiaosheng’s group doesn’t file a lawsuit, we’ll find ways to urge them to file one.”

Yang Xiaoyun, seeing his daughter’s grasp of the intention, nodded with satisfaction and added, ”By the way, how’s the cooperation with Europe going...

Yang Yishan hurriedly provided another report.

Yang Xiaoyun heard that the western market expansion was progressing well, abandoning Eastern markets didn’t lead to any business loss for the Yang Family but instead resulted in a small profit and even opened up fields in other western markets, and nodded with satisfaction.

Yang Xiaoyun grew weary from listening and went to the study for some peace.

The dialogue between father and daughter concluded at this point.

The next day, nearing noon, Yang Yishan came again to report to her father.

Under her guidance, Maiwen Transport Company once again provoked Bai Xiaosheng’s side, but there was still no response from there.

Latest news, the Huaxia Business Group has started to continue their investigation, seemingly having no time to concern themselves with matters here.

”Do you know why I chose the timing of the Huaxia Business Group’s visit to cut off business with those merchants and have them pay for us?”

Yang Xiaoyun couldn’t help but express proudly to his daughter, ”They are not representing individuals now but a team, with every word and deed exposed to media coverage, restricting them severely. Moreover, the official processes them in a justified manner. We haven’t signed contract clauses with them, nor violated any agreements, leaving them officially with no recourse against us.”

Yang Yishan, upon hearing this, instinctively gave her father two thumbs up, praising, ”You truly stand out as the Yang Family’s Zhuge Liang, considering all conditions comprehensively. Even Brown and the Huaxia Business Group are part of your strategy, admirable indeed! Hence, it seems their side can only drop the matter. Later, if they return to settle accounts, we won’t fear them, they are oceans away. Whatever measures they wish to employ, they can. I suppose they can only complain to the media, but daring to do so, we would sue them for defamation promptly!”

Yang Xiaoyun with a smile said, ”I have always hoped Bai Xiaosheng would be spirited enough to act rashly, allowing me to counteract. Unexpectedly, he remained quiet. Understandably, anyone who can cross Brown isn’t ordinary. He probably foresees the risk here. Haha, being able to make a talent who has contended with Brown lie low with me, willing to shuffle off, is the prime of honor!”

This father and daughter couldn’t help but be increasingly proud.

So far, Bai Xiaosheng’s ”lack of action” not only made the Yang Family belittle him but also caused the dozen entrepreneurs on Bai Xiaosheng’s side to be very anxious.

Even during a recess from their outings, Lu Tiandao, Zhang Qinglin, Wang Xuantian, and others approached Bai Xiaosheng to inquire what actions he would take next.

Amid the survey, there’s hardly time to discuss these topics.

Bai Xiaosheng immediately halted such exchanges, firmly refusing to say more than a single word.
