Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2511: Chapter 1847: Trouble Arrives

West Africa Yang Corporation, despite being a world-class conglomerate with a renowned reputation, has behaved shamelessly this time. Not only did they break their promises, but they also exploited the commercial trust of Chinese merchants, treating everyone like fools and making them foot the bill for a series of their interests.

Knowing full well that Chinese merchants have no possibility of lodging a complaint, Yang Xiaoyun’s ironic remarks further added fuel to the fire.

This immediately enraged Bai Xiaosheng and a dozen other Chinese merchants.

Everyone was filled with righteous indignation, and vowed to fully support Bai Xiaosheng in seeking justice from the Yang Corporation.

Initially, Bai Xiaosheng intended to bring everyone into his business alliance.

Unexpectedly, what brought everyone together closely beside Bai Xiaosheng was not smooth cooperation, but a united stance against adversity.

”Everyone, leave this matter to me to handle!” Bai Xiaosheng said loudly after everyone expressed their stance, ”You all should head back first, calm down a bit, and prepare for the upcoming inspections. Don’t let this matter harm your health or incite anger! Because in this matter, it’s not about being angry with them, but about retaliating in kind, making them feel the pain! I will plan carefully, and when there’s a need for you to step in, I will definitely let you all know!”

Seeking justice from the Yang Corporation isn’t a matter of a moment; it can’t be rushed. The stronger the opponent, the more one needs to remain calm.

We are adults, and moreover, mature merchants with notable reputations. We’ve weathered all kinds of storms; even if we’re furious, we can quickly return to rationality.

After hearing Bai Xiaosheng, everyone immediately nodded, ceasing their clamoring.

Furthermore, everyone knows Bai Xiaosheng; he’s someone who dared to stir up trouble in the South American and North American business circles alone, like Nezha stirring the sea. Everyone believes he won’t let it end like this and there will inevitably be a retaliatory action. There’s immense ”trust,” and great anticipation in this aspect.

After Bai Xiaosheng’s appeasement, everyone gradually departed, but Dong Tianlu remained.

Because Dong Tianlu went with Bai Xiaosheng to handle everything, she was more exasperated than anyone else; moreover, being a woman, her emotions were even higher.

Thus, Dong Tianlu wanted to stay a bit longer to understand Bai Xiaosheng’s upcoming thoughts.

After sending everyone off, Dong Tianlu chatted briefly with Bai Xiaosheng, but before getting to the main topic, someone arrived.

The one who arrived was none other than Hou Yuncheng.

”Sheng, I heard that you were tricked by the Yang Corporation?” Hou Yuncheng, upon seeing Bai Xiaosheng, didn’t waste time and asked straight to the point, frowning.

Presumably, someone among the dozen peers reported the situation to Hou Yuncheng.

”You could say that.” Bai Xiaosheng didn’t hide anything and explained the ins and outs to Hou Yuncheng.

”This is outrageous! Absolutely outrageous!” Hou Yuncheng’s face showed a trace of anger, his brows furrowed, ”How can Chinese merchants let others bully us like this? I’ll report upwards right now, no matter what, I must seek justice for you all!”

While speaking, Hou Yuncheng was about to leave.

Bai Xiaosheng stopped him.

”Director Hou, I don’t want you to intervene in this matter.” Bai Xiaosheng said.

Hou Yuncheng immediately frowned at Bai Xiaosheng, puzzled, ”Why? Sheng, do you want to let it go? This not only damages everyone’s interests but also undermines everyone’s honor, and Huaxia is behind you all!”

Hou Yuncheng seemed genuinely angry.

Dong Tianlu couldn’t help but be moved.

Being a Huaxia merchant, having such staunch support from one’s own people was touching and inspiring.

”Director Hou, I don’t want you to get involved, for two reasons.”

Bai Xiaosheng was equally appreciative of Hou Yuncheng’s attitude but still insisted on his decision.

”Tell me!” Hou Yuncheng suppressed his anger.

”Firstly, the Yang Corporation hasn’t violated any commercial laws; they haven’t breached contracts nor committed any crimes. Even if we resort to international courts or put pressure on someone, it ultimately won’t help. They might even resort to media to turn it around. By then, they become the underdogs, the victims. We become the overly aggressive party.”

Bai Xiaosheng’s analysis made Hou Yuncheng’s face pale with anger, yet he couldn’t deny the high possibility.

Indeed, legally speaking, Yang Corporation was blameless; even if higher-ups protested and pressured, ultimately, the matter might end inconclusively.

Not being able to hurt the Yang Corporation in the slightest is the most infuriating aspect.

”Secondly.” Bai Xiaosheng suddenly smiled; however, the smile was filled with coldness, ”If we solve this through your channels, how do we vent our anger in our own way?”

Bai Xiaosheng’s voice was eerily calm, ”Wouldn’t that be too easy on them!”

Speaking such words, Bai Xiaosheng exuded an aura of fierceness, making one feel awed.

Dong Tianlu, who had seen all kinds of characters, found herself involuntarily intrigued by Bai Xiaosheng, feeling a chill.

Hou Yuncheng stared at Bai Xiaosheng, but Bai Xiaosheng calmly returned the gaze.

Finally, Hou Yuncheng patted Bai Xiaosheng’s shoulder, ”I’m heading back; regarding this matter... I’ll pretend I don’t know.”

Before leaving, Hou Yuncheng paused his steps, without turning his head, said to Bai Xiaosheng, ”If you need anything, come to me; I’m always your support!”

Bai Xiaosheng smiled slightly, nodding slightly at Hou Yuncheng’s back, ”Thank you!”

Without looking back, Hou Yuncheng left.

Bai Xiaosheng turned to Dong Tianlu, ”Dong Jie, what were you about to say to me earlier?”

Dong Tianlu stayed, initially to ask Bai Xiaosheng about his upcoming plans, to give him some advice; now recalling Bai Xiaosheng’s fierce aura, she shrugged immediately, ”Nothing. On how to retaliate, just decide for yourself. I’ll be responsible for contacting others, making sure you can command everyone like an arm.”
