Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2195: Chapter 1673: Two People Full of Reluctance (Part 2)

Whether it was intentional or not, it already happened, and the other party has already ”retaliated.”

”Well, let them vent a bit, and we can consider it even,” Bai Xiaosheng consoled.

Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying also nodded.

After all, it was their car that cut off the other car first, so letting them vent was understandable.

But the subsequent development wasn’t as everyone expected.

That car didn’t speed off into the distance; instead, it stayed right in front of them, controlling the speed.

Xiya changed lanes, and that car followed suit, not letting her overtake.

It seemed the other party felt that one cut-off wasn’t enough to vent their anger.

After seven or eight minutes of this, Xiya’s temper flared up too.

Seeing an opening, Xiya suddenly accelerated and overtook them.

The two cars brushed past each other, and Bai Xiaosheng could vaguely see through the glass that the driver of the other car seemed to be a woman, with a head of blonde hair.

It’s surprising that foreign girls could be so hot-tempered...

Bai Xiaosheng couldn’t help but think to himself.

Having overtaken the car, Xiya had no intention of retaliating.

But the other party didn’t seem to want to let them go and overtook them again, blocking them.

Just like that, Bai Xiaosheng and the others played a game of ”Fast and Furious” on the road with the two cars.

Xiya, who originally wanted to apologize, was now infuriated.

Inside the car, Bai Xiaosheng squinted slightly, watching the road ahead.

Xiya, being a local, didn’t have the GPS on, so Bai Xiaosheng mentally asked Red Lotus to create a comprehensive map.

As Xiya tangled with the other vehicle, Bai Xiaosheng suddenly said in a deep voice, ”Overtake them again, then slow down. After passing the intersection, drive to one side and reduce speed to ninety-five.”

Xiya glanced at Bai Xiaosheng in surprise but followed his instructions.

After passing the intersection, Xiya did as Bai Xiaosheng said, driving to one side and making space while reducing her speed.

The car behind had been suppressed for a long time and seized the opportunity to accelerate sharply, overtaking Bai Xiaosheng’s car once again.

Xiya’s face turned livid with anger.

”Reduce speed to eighty!” Bai Xiaosheng ordered sternly once more.

Xiya followed instinctively.

During their academy days, she’d already been trained by Bai Xiaosheng, so she instinctively obeyed his orders.

The car in front sped off at at least a hundred and ten, or twenty, kilometers per hour, not slowing until the blaring siren of a patrol car cut through the air from the green belt beside them.

Soon, a police car shot out and gave chase.

Xiya was stunned.

There were actually patrol cars monitoring speed here?

The car in front would surely have a tough time now!

Xiya was curious how Bai Xiaosheng knew there was a patrol car here, even if he saw the speed limit sign.

Before Xiya could ask more, the car drove at a steady pace, and the car ahead had already obediently pulled over, with the driver stepping out and patiently waiting for the officer to issue a fine.

The driver was a tall woman with an alluring figure, and her blonde hair was particularly striking, shimmering with a golden sheen.

The woman wore sunglasses, hiding her features, but she kept her gaze fixed on Bai Xiaosheng’s car, and even without seeing her eyes, one could feel the intense hatred behind those sunglasses.

This narrow-minded woman would surely suffer this time.

Xiya drove past, unable to clearly see the other’s face, but still feeling a bit schadenfreude.

The car window on Bai Xiaosheng’s side rolled down, and he exchanged a glance with the woman as they passed.

They both had a fleeting impression of each other.

Bai Xiaosheng and his passengers continued driving forward, Xiya smiling and murmuring, ”This feels much better.”

That crazy woman didn’t even know what madness possessed her, turning a one-time accidental cut-off into such a situation, and now she was caught and fined, truly deserving it.

”You should be more careful when driving, don’t get distracted, and don’t drive in anger; it’s not worth it,” Bai Xiaosheng half-advised, half-warned Xiya.

”I’ll definitely be careful next time.” Xiya stuck out her tongue and smiled.

They drove away, leaving no further words.

The woman who received a ticket resumed driving afterward.

She took off her sunglasses, revealing an exceptionally beautiful face, one that rivaled Lin Weiwei’s in charm.

Her face carried an air of noble indifference, along with a hint of anger and resentment.

Not seeing the car that had angered her, the woman felt a bit grudgingly aggrieved.

She drove a few blocks before finally pulling into a bustling city area, stopping in the front square of a large building.

There, her car drew significant attention, with security guards saluting her proactively.

After parking in front of a building, she tossed her keys to an employee to park and walked inside.

Within that building, everyone she passed stood respectfully, warmly greeting her, ”Hello, Miss Ye Liena!”

Ye Liena turned a deaf ear, walking past with a frosty face, but more people joined her as they needed her instructions or signatures.

This was her company, and here she was the queen.

Yet today, the ”queen” encountered an extremely unpleasant incident, as even on her way back, she was bullied by a ”vile car.”

Ultimately, she’d been issued a ticket.

Overall, it was a day she extremely detested.

Ye Liena handled some business while taking the elevator up to her private office.

Upon entering, Ye Liena was taken aback.

In her chair sat someone—a beautiful woman about her age and height.

”Melanie, what are you doing here?” Ye Liena squinted slightly, curious.

The woman rose, shrugged, and smiled, ”Ye Liena, my dear sister, aren’t you happy to see me?”
