Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2193: Chapter 1672: Tripartite Contract

Bai Xiaosheng helped the Taylor Clan uncover the traitorous ”turncoat” White and Moke, and made the power-hungry Shaun and Kaiden submit once again, effectively achieving two goals at once. Such tactics are indeed daunting.

As for whether Shaun and Kaiden’s submission is temporary, it doesn’t matter.

Currently, the Taylor Clan is still in crisis, needing Shaun and Kaiden to work together, or at least not exacerbate the issue.

Bai Xiaosheng knows that once the current crisis passes, Taylor will definitely take action against Shaun and Kaiden, distancing them and their close associates from the power center.

Taylor is genuinely benevolent, but he also has a decisive side, as Bai Xiaosheng keenly observes.

Out of gratitude for Bai Xiaosheng’s tireless assistance, Taylor immediately promised to fulfill his agreement with Bai Xiaosheng.

For him to say this in public, Bai Xiaosheng believes it must be sincerely heartfelt.

Bai Xiaosheng was very satisfied with this.

Xiya and Huang Haoyun, upon hearing this, although unclear of the specifics, understood it was a form of personal ”reward” for Bai Xiaosheng.

They didn’t intend to inquire further, nor did they wish to ask now, so they naturally pretended not to hear or question.

”Now that the Taylor Clan has resolved its internal issues and the evaluation is complete, let’s sign the contract and expedite our cooperation,” Bai Xiaosheng suggested.

Firstly, the new technology here greatly excites Bai Xiaosheng, and reaching an agreement promptly is the most secure and reassuring course of action.

Secondly, though the internal crisis within the Taylor Clan has been resolved, the external threat remains a significant concern, requiring substantial funding. The earlier the contract is signed, the sooner the funds will be ready.

Taylor was naturally willing and immediately nodded in agreement.

In fact, during yesterday’s meeting, Bai Xiaosheng had already discussed the general framework of cooperation with him. Taylor personally rushed to complete the contract overnight, and sent Bai Xiaosheng an electronic version this morning.

Bai Xiaosheng had already reviewed it, without any objections.

At this moment, Taylor opened his briefcase, took out the printed copies and handed them to Bai Xiaosheng and Huang Haoyun.

After a cursory glance, Bai Xiaosheng casually flipped through the contract.

With the help of Red Lotus, he quickly scanned through it, which was enough.

Huang Haoyun’s orders were to defer to Bai Xiaosheng. Since Bai Xiaosheng had no issues, he had no desire to look, but due to his responsibilities, he only examined the core points.

With no objections from any party, the contract was signed on the spot.

As for organizing a signing ceremony or public announcement, now was not the time.

As per the contract, the ”Blue Serenity” company will undergo a stock restructuring, with the Taylor Clan holding seventy percent of the shares, and Lu Qingfeng and his investors holding thirty percent.

Bai Xiaosheng’s investment was higher than Lu Qingfeng’s, yet he did not hold shares. He was granted the right to use certain technology and engage in subsequent development improvements, but the production must avoid competing markets with ”Blue Serenity”.

The applications for graphene battery technology are diverse, and ”Blue Serenity” cannot possibly cover all markets from phone batteries to aviation and industrial batteries.

Therefore, it is better to leave some markets and technologies to others.

Moreover, directing new technology also inspires other industries to accelerate development.

Bai Xiaosheng and the Taylor Clan will advance together, applying the new technology across different markets, thus fully converting technology into finance, benefiting both parties.

Taylor understood this point and naturally accepted Bai Xiaosheng’s suggestion.

Once the signing was complete, Huang Haoyun stood up to take his leave.

”I’ve prepared a luncheon; Mr. Huang, why not stay and have a meal before leaving?” Taylor enthusiastically invited.

Huang Haoyun refused with a smile, half-jokingly saying, ”Since we’ll be partners going forward, and I’m stationed in Ganande, I’ll surely bother Mr. Taylor often in the future, so there’s no rush for now. At this moment, I need to hurry back to oversee the fund transfers; I must ensure no issues arise that delays Mr. Bai’s matters with you, or else Lu Qingfeng would have my head. That’s certainly beyond me to handle.”

Seeing Huang Haoyun was determined to leave, and since the fund mobilization was a significant matter for his family, Taylor couldn’t insist further.

Taylor sincerely told Huang Haoyun, ”Your effort is appreciated, Mr. Huang. Should you need anything, feel free to tell us; our family will fully support you.”

Huang Haoyun nodded with a warm smile.

Even if the urgency to return is high, skipping mealtime is unnecessary.

Being more enthusiastic can help garner friendship and widen one’s connections.

Such beneficial matters naturally delighted him.

After bidding farewell to Bai Xiaosheng, receiving Bai Xiaosheng’s response, Huang Haoyun declined the Clan Leader Taylor’s escort, leaving with his entourage alone.

It was lunchtime, and after a busy morning, everyone was hungry.

The Clan Leader Taylor and Xiya promptly invited Bai Xiaosheng and the other two to enjoy a French gourmet meal prepared by the head chef at a nearby reserved five-star hotel.

At the table, there were five people, without outsiders, allowing for a relaxed atmosphere.

As they drank and laughed, Bai Xiaosheng said to Taylor, ”Funds will be available tomorrow. The first wave will be sufficient for your family to cover various penalty fees and sever all connections with them.”

Not fulfilling those unfair contracts requires substantial compensation, admittedly painful figures.

However, problems solvable by money are never truly problems in the future.

An entirely new beginning is about to unfold.

”I will! No matter the financial or industrial loss, I will courageously endure what is necessary!” Taylor applied two Huaxia idioms perfectly to his determination.

”Once ’Blue Serenity’ thrives, the family will rejuvenate anew,” Bai Xiaosheng remarked with a smile.

Taylor laughed heartily, ”Thank you for the good wishes. I should find a successor soon, giving up my position to fulfill my pledge.”

Sitting next to Taylor, Xiya was shocked upon hearing this, ”Dad, are you stepping down as Clan Leader, why?”

She hadn’t heard about this yet.

Bai Xiaosheng suddenly felt a bit awkward, having mentioned helping them, yet indirectly pulling Taylor away to work for him, leaving him feeling awkward.

Taylor was unperturbed, laughing openly, ”I am going to be the CEO of Mr. Bai Xiaosheng’s new company. Truthfully, I’m excited! I feel years younger!”

Taylor appeared genuinely delighted.

It may seem as though transitioning from Clan Leader to CEO of a company is stepping down, but the young Bai Xiaosheng inspired him with his tenacity and strength. The Global Business Alliance plan Bai Xiaosheng shared with him invigorated him.

Moreover, by aligning with Bai Xiaosheng, the Taylor Clan will have a formidable ally, easing concerns of potential threats!

”Well, Xiya, since I mobilized a substantial amount of funds, a proper explanation is needed below, so I invited Mr. Taylor to preside over my new company...” Bai Xiaosheng attempted a tactful explanation, hoping Xiya wouldn’t be upset.

Unexpectedly, apart from initial surprise, Xiya showed no signs of anger, surprisingly accepting the news.

Xiya, not being a fool, realized partnering with Bai Xiaosheng would benefit the family.

She saw her father was intensely enthusiastic and passionate, which alleviated any resistance she might have felt.

”Since my father willingly agrees, I have no objections. Additionally, you’ve assisted our family greatly.” Xiya graciously poured a drink, toasting Bai Xiaosheng, ”Cheers, boss, I toast to you. If Mr. Taylor falls short in any way, I hope you will accommodate him.”

Such a magnanimous young Westerner!

Bai Xiaosheng smiled and clinked glasses with her.

Everyone laughed heartily.

Subsequently, the new company will be established in Ganande, with Taylor and Huang Haoyun managing the operations, without needing further mention.

While everyone was enjoying their meal, Taylor’s phone unexpectedly rang. Apologizing, he excused himself to answer the call.

When Taylor returned, his expression was notably serious. He candidly informed Bai Xiaosheng, ”The general manager of the subsidiary from Zhenbei Group previously targeting us just called, requesting a meeting tomorrow to discuss contract compliance!”

”Oh?!” Bai Xiaosheng raised an eyebrow, then smiled, ”Their information is rather swift, wouldn’t you say? Receiving our news so quickly!”
