Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2184: Chapter 1667: Quelling the Chaos

The Taylor Clan Leader just praised the workers in their factory for having skills and a strong sense of responsibility, uniting together to weather the storm.

Right after, a scene of strikes and protests was playing out.

As they entered, they saw a large crowd of people surrounding the factory head, many shouting loudly and protesting, making quite a spectacle.

Where was the quality that the Taylor Clan Leader spoke of?

Huang Haoyun glanced at the Taylor Clan Leader with deep meaning in his eyes, and the Taylor Clan Leader’s expression slightly changed, his smile frozen.

This was something he absolutely did not expect.

Even Bai Xiaosheng narrowed his eyes.

Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying exchanged looks with slightly furrowed brows.

Xiya was both angry and anxious.

Bai Xiaosheng had a hard time bringing the investors over, only to witness this scene?

This wasn’t how things were before!

These workers were diligent and very reliable, so why did things go wrong today!

Beside Xiya, Moke was equally shocked and uneasy.

Immediately, Moke took the initiative to speak to Taylor, ”Clan Leader, I’ll go over and see what’s happening there.”

The Taylor Clan Leader nodded slightly.

Moke wasted no time as he quickly ran towards the crowd.

”Mr. Huang, let’s wait here for a while. I believe there is some misunderstanding in all of this,” the Taylor Clan Leader said to Huang Haoyun.

”Alright.” Huang Haoyun simply replied with a smile.

During their brief exchange, both of their eyes were directed towards one person—

Bai Xiaosheng.

Today’s cooperation success or failure isn’t up to Huang Haoyun; it’s Bai Xiaosheng who can decide it.

At this moment, Bai Xiaosheng was calm, watching the chaotic scene like a drama.

Seeing him so composed, both the Taylor Clan Leader and Huang Haoyun calmed down.

Over there, Moke pushed through the crowd, not sure what he said, nor was it clear which worker first noticed the Taylor Clan Leader here.

The surrounding workers all turned their heads and looked over. Then, someone loudly shouted the Taylor Clan Leader’s name, and the workers surged over, looking agitated.

The people beside the Taylor Clan Leader saw this, their faces changing instantly, hastily stepping up to create a protective barrier and isolate the emotional crowd to prevent extreme actions.

Xiya stood vigilantly beside her father, safeguarding his safety.

People came over in increasing numbers, each shouting and yelling, creating a particularly noisy scene filled with words like ”unfair treatment,” ”exploitation,” ”no conscience,” etc.

Seeing it, the Taylor Clan Leader felt somewhat anxious.

Group emotions getting out of control is a terrifying thing; no one can predict the direction of events!

Just as the Taylor Clan Leader was about to personally speak to quiet everyone, Moke finally squeezed through the crowd, panting, followed by a middle-aged man with gold-rimmed glasses and an intellectual demeanor. However, the middle-aged man’s hair was messed, clothes crumpled, and even a sleeve was torn off, looking quite embarrassed.

”What on earth is happening?” The Taylor Clan Leader knew that middle-aged man was the factory head and urgently asked.

To comfort the crowd’s emotions, at the very least, one must know what happened, what made their good workers so angry.

To solve the problem, one must have a targeted approach.

Bai Xiaosheng, Lin Weiwei, Lei Ying, Huang Haoyun, and others also looked at Moke, along with the managerial figure behind him.

As Moke was about to speak, the person behind him stepped quickly to approach the Taylor Clan Leader, crying, ”Clan Leader, you are finally here, this crowd is about to tear me, tear this factory apart.”

Seeing that he was about to complain, Xiya, beside him, hurriedly interjected, ”Get to the point!”

That person knew the current situation wasn’t suitable for complaints or seeking merit, hastily changed his tone, speaking twice the speed, like popping beans, ”It’s Mr. Shaun who sent word saying business is bad, starting this month’s end old employees will have their pay cut from one to three percent, bonuses and benefits canceled, layoffs started, and wear and tear of machines and tools counted against the workers!”

This speech made everyone, including Bai Xiaosheng, look shocked at the speaker.

What was this?

Exploitation, smashing everyone’s rice bowl?!

No wonder the workers were swearing.

The Taylor Clan Leader looked stunned, mouth slightly open, incrediblely at the other, then angrily gritted his teeth, ”Shaun! What does he intend to do!”

Bai Xiaosheng knew this Shaun. It was he who led people yesterday in a ”palace coup,” and Kaiden, who was arrogant, was his son!

What did this person intend to do? On this very day, so early in the morning, why send a message of groundless things to cause unrest!

Xiya murmured angrily, ”I felt that father and son were no good! And those around them are the same! Do they just want to see the whole family ruined, the action, their hearts convicted! I think secretly colluding with the rival company, framing Uncle White, scheming against me, surely has them involved!”

The Taylor Clan Leader had no intention to think about his daughter’s words.

”Mr. Huang, this treatment of workers is absolutely not our family’s style, this is a misunderstanding!” Moke explained urgently to Huang Haoyun.

Huang Haoyun replied calmly, ”Please let the Taylor Clan Leader resolve the immediate chaos first, it’s been so messy, how can I evaluate your products.”

Then, Huang Haoyun blandly added a sentence, ”Today’s scene really was unexpected.”

The sentence seemed to indicate an extremely poor impression.

Xiya and Moke heard this and instantly looked tense.

At this moment, Taylor, worthy of being the Clan Leader, with decades of stormy experience, was now calm, after all excessive anxiety and anger wouldn’t help at all.

Earlier, he had instructed someone to fetch something, now the person returned, holding a handheld megaphone.

At present the scene’s emotions were intense, facing the loud workers, mere shouting wouldn’t suffice even if hoarse.

That was the reason the Taylor Clan Leader didn’t immediately voice.

With the megaphone in hand, the Taylor Clan Leader stepped forward two steps, facing the shouting workers, raised his voice using full strength, saying, ”Everyone please quiet down!”

”I am Taylor, I have something to say to you all!”

Under the megaphone’s influence, the Taylor Clan Leader’s voice reached every corner, and the agitated people saw he was about to speak and quieted down.

After all, they held the Taylor Clan Leader in great respect, even amidst the family’s stormy despair, without thoughts of changing jobs.

The blame was on Mr. Shaun for sending word and causing chaos!

Shaun was next in command to the Clan Leader in the Taylor family, and his word carried high credibility!

These loyal workers at the end got pay cuts and faced possible layoffs anytime, naturally emotions exploded.

Now, with the Taylor Clan Leader speaking, the workers all wanted to hear what he had to say.

Bai Xiaosheng also looked at the Taylor Clan Leader.

This was the manager he had chosen, curious how he would handle this situation.

Facing the featured workers, the Taylor Clan Leader solemnly said, ”At our most difficult time, everyone chose to stay, you are my Taylor’s friends!”

”Who dares fire you or cut your pay, I will not agree!”

”I hold fifteen percent stakes in this factory, not keeping even one– I’ll share it all according to your working years and contributions!”

”From now on, you are the masters of this factory!”
