Transmigrated as The Best Female Character of the Year

”No.” Evan Fairchild refused outright, leaving no room for negotiation.

”Mr. Fairchild, do you really have to be so heartless?” Ian Monroe looked as if he’d been putting up with him for far too long.

”Ian Monroe, how old are you? Can’t you be a little more independent?”

”I’m not eighteen yet. Legally, you have an obligation to raise me, and you also have to pay attention to my physical and mental well-being. Forcing me to be separated from my mother like this is against the law. I can sue you for child abuse and have your custody rights revoked.”

Evan Fairchild: ...

”Who told you all this?”

”I looked it up myself. What you’re doing is domestic abuse.”

’Evan Fairchild suddenly regretted letting this kid read so many books. How dare he use this to threaten him!’

”I’ll give you ten minutes to think about it. If you still don’t agree to let me stay, I’ll report you to the police on the way back to Rockwellburg.”

”Ian Monroe, you wouldn’t dare.”

”You were the one who was heartless first!”

’This little brat is such a headache!’

Tommy secretly glanced at Evan Fairchild’s expression and couldn’t help but turn away to hide a smile. ’The big boss has probably never been this frustrated. To be threatened with a lawsuit by his own son, and he couldn’t even refute it.’

’The Third Young Master would probably laugh himself silly if he saw this.’

”I’ll have you brought to Jansburg once every half-month.” Evan Fairchild compromised first. Previously, it had been once a month.

Ian Monroe glanced at the watch phone on his wrist. ”Mr. Fairchild, you have seven minutes and forty seconds left to think.”

Evan Fairchild: ...

”You can come for two days every ten days.”

”Six minutes and twenty seconds left.”

”You can come every weekend!”

”Five minutes and nine seconds.”

”Ian Monroe!” Evan Fairchild’s voice grew sharper.

Tommy was a little scared just seeing him like this, but Ian Monroe wasn’t afraid at all.

One small hand held Bunny, his little arm raised as he stared at the time.

Evan Fairchild snorted coldly, turned, and walked back into the house, slamming the door heavily behind him.

Ian Monroe stood his ground, not moving an inch, his eyes fixed on the time on his watch.

Watching this stubborn little figure, Tommy slowly approached. ”Master Hale, why don’t we head back first? It’s so cold out here, you’ll catch a cold.”

But Ian Monroe didn’t budge until the very last second of the ten minutes had passed.

”Put my luggage in the car.”

Tommy picked up the luggage and glanced at Ian Monroe again. ’As expected of the boss’s son,’ he thought. ’He’s so young but already has the boss’s intensity. It’s a little scary.’

Ian Monroe got in the car. Tommy quickly loaded the luggage, and just as he was about to drive off, the door opened.

Evan Fairchild stood in the doorway, his face livid.

Ian Monroe looked at the figure in the doorway and a small smile touched his lips.

’Mr. Fairchild isn’t so tough after all.’

”President Fairchild, are we still taking Master Hale back to Rockwellburg?” Tommy was truly stunned. President Fairchild had actually been threatened by a child.

How old was the kid? Was he really going to sue his own father?

Suddenly, another thought occurred to him.

’This is the boss’s son, a miniature version of him. What wouldn’t he be capable of! It’s not like the boss hasn’t been taken in because of his son before.’

”You, notify the tutor and Auntie Lana. Have them come to Jansburg.”

”Yes, sir!” Tommy responded immediately. He was about to walk around to the trunk to get Ian Monroe’s luggage when he heard that childish voice speak again.

”Mr. Fairchild, you’re the one asking me to stay. I want you to carry my suitcase inside personally. If you don’t carry it in, I won’t stay.” Ian Monroe sat in the car, perfectly still.

Tommy: ...

’Holy crap! The student has surpassed the master!’
