Transmigrated as The Best Female Character of the Year

This would have a massive impact on the entire film crew.

”This is such a big deal. Shouldn’t we discuss it with Mr. Fairchild?”

”Ma’am, you have the final say in this. Even if we consulted President Fairchild, he’d still have you make the call. A one-month delay is just a question of money, and that’s something you don’t need to worry about at all.”

If it was a problem money could solve, then it wasn’t a problem at all.

President Fairchild had been waiting for this. He finally had a chance to spend money on his wife—it was an opportunity he couldn’t miss.

”Right now, there are a few options. We can delay the start of filming and wait for Solara Palace to be completed, or we can find another spot in the studio lot and use a green screen with post-production special effects. Ma’am, once you decide, I’ll take care of the rest.”

Now that Tommy had put it like that, Melody Monroe made up her mind.

”I’d rather wait. Wait for Solara Palace to be finished. I remember the very first scene is a major one set in Solara Palace.”

”Alright, I’ll go arrange it immediately.” After getting her answer, Tommy turned and went back into the conference room.

Melody Monroe’s heart tightened. ’Such a huge decision, and I made it all by myself?’

In her previous life, the biggest decision she had ever made was using her own money to buy a laptop that cost over eight thousand.

Being with Evan Fairchild for so long had really changed her. She was getting bolder and bolder.

The moment Tommy returned, Director Walsh and Mr. Lowell both turned to look at him.

”I’ve relayed the decision. The construction must be completed in thirty days.”

”Okay, we will definitely finish it. Thank you so much!” Mr. Lowell quickly stood up and shook Tommy’s hand.

Although Director Walsh was anxious, since the investor had made the decision, there was nothing more for him to say.

Actually, deep down, he wanted to wait, too. He didn’t want a film that was all green screen and special effects either.

”Don’t worry, Director Walsh. I’ll handle the scheduling conflicts,” Tommy added, speaking to the director.

”Okay.” Director Walsh nodded immediately. Now, he was completely at ease.

Tommy and Jonah Lowell walked out together, and Melody Monroe also came out of the lounge.

She really wanted to get to know this master of ancient architecture. Eastern architecture had a unique charm, and in her previous life, her own major had been Chinese architecture and landscape design.

As only a sophomore, she had only just begun her studies and still had so, so much to learn.

She had looked up Jonah Lowell’s information; he was actually a returning professor at Jansburg’s Trillium University.

’If I get into Trillium University, I could become Professor Lowell’s student.’

”Professor Lowell, hello. I’m Melody Monroe. It’s a great pleasure to meet you here,” Melody Monroe said, greeting him a bit nervously.

”Melody Monroe, I know who you are.” Jonah Lowell smiled kindly. ”It’s a great pleasure to meet you, too.”

’The professor is so down-to-earth.’

”I’d like to invite everyone to come visit Solara Palace. Construction has been underway for a while, but I haven’t had the chance to invite you all over for a look. Would any of you happen to be free?”

”Could I go see the Solara Palace construction site?” Melody Monroe asked immediately.

”Of course. I’m heading over right now, in fact. Would you like to come along? Director Walsh, Tommy, do you two have time? You could come see it as well.”

The moment Tommy heard Melody Monroe wanted to go, he nodded immediately. ”As it happens, I’m free today. I’d love to tour the site.”

”I have time as well,” Director Walsh added.

”It’s wonderful that you can all come. In that case, I’ll head over first and wait for you at the construction site.” Jonah Lowell got into a car waiting outside.

「Forty minutes later.」

Melody Monroe and the others arrived at the Solara Palace construction site.
