Emperor’s Domination

The one landing was an elderly gentleman with white hair and a beard tied up in a knot in front of his chest. He had a kind and benevolent expression, resembling a deity of longevity.

Moreover, he had a bright red gourd hanging on his waist. Upon closer inspection, this color was not due to paint but burning molten due to the internal flames.

It seemingly contained countless fire types. Once combined, it created something new and far more destructive than before. This process never stopped either. The flame always shifted and evolved.

Thus, the man looked like a deity of longevity meant to save people at first. However, this gourd said otherwise. His eyes gleamed intimidatingly and piercingly.

He turned out to be a frightening emperor despite his kind appearance.

“Elder Pill, my dao bone is straight!” The youth with the antler repeated.

“It never was.” The old man didn’t bother looking at him, only focusing on the trail of rainbows.

“It is now, it is now!” The youth returned to his deer form, showing how he was chewing the leaf perfectly fine.

Unfortunately, the old man finally caught a glimpse of Li Qiye who was strolling through the mysteries.

Each step caused rainbow fish to leap out and form an ethereal trail. They combined into a makeshift bridge, seemingly welcoming an immortal.

“There you are!” The old man leaped in that direction, a hundred times faster than lightning.

The four lakes were separate yet connected. Time and space twisted together, fully separated from the normal dimension.

Li Qiye entered the perfect dimension where the lakes were connected. The rainbow fish seemed happy to follow him, just short of letting out cheers. Their leaps caused temporal and spatial ripples, affecting the supreme grand dao within the lakes.

“Immortal, please recall your technique!” An emperor hidden in the four lakes nearly lost consciousness since his dao was being shaken, leaping out of the water and shouting.

He was up there in age and wore a turtle shell with the weight of a great mountain, seemingly causing his body to bend down. He had a stick picked up randomly from somewhere, looking simple yet in tune with the dao.

He had a mustache and eyes as small as beans, resembling a turtle demon in humanoid form. The light in his eyes could pierce through any cultivator and split an ocean.

Li Qiye glanced at him and had no intention of stopping.

“Immortal, please!” The old man struggled to find a great place for dao enlightenment, not expecting to lose it like this.

“Boom!” The long-bearded man also caught up. However, the rainbow bridge suddenly collapsed, severing the connection to the proper dimension.

“Buzz.” Li Qiye disappeared entirely.

“Rainbow immortal fish!” He didn’t care for Li Qiye, only the fish.

He sent out a net to try and catch them. Unfortunately, they returned to the water and evaporated. His magical net caught nothing but the old man in the turtle shell.

“Pill, what the hell are you doing?” The victim shouted angrily.

“I’m trying to catch rainbow fish, not you. I didn’t even get one.” Pill said.

“I wanted to use the proper dimension of the four lakes to train but you all broke the balance, damn it, so unlucky.” The turtle-shell man complained.

“I haven’t seen a rainbow fish in ten thousand years yet a whole school came out today. This was a godsend opportunity and all I got is a lousy turtle.” Pill said.

“Pill, watch your mouth, you should be apologizing after ruining my training session. I can’t believe we’re in the same branch.” The turtle-shell man said.

“Well, I suppose I’m at fault, catching you in this net. My apologies.” Pill relented.

Receiving an apology from someone stronger was good enough for the turtle-shell man who said: “It was the youth who came out of nowhere and caused such a big commotion.”

He paused and said: “Pill, even if you want to refine these fish into a dragon pill, don’t cause rifts within the four lakes. Be wary of the progenitor’s wrath.”

“What?!” Pill calmed down and said: “You do know this had nothing to do with me?” Pill
