Emperor’s Domination

”Didn’t you say just enjoy life as it is? That it is nice enough to be alive?” Li Qiye stared at him.

”Haha, Young Noble, saying that is one thing, but if the old bull can become an immortal, I can’t lose to him, I must crush him first given my greatness.” The monarch said.

The youths had no idea who this bull was, but it must be the monarch’s archrival. His competitiveness surged after the guy was brought up.

”Young Noble, please teach me how to ascend, let me light blind that guy’s dog eyes.” The monarch grabbed Li Qiye’s thigh.

Li Qiye shook his head and said: ”I don’t have one since it’s not something that can be taught, not even for the pseudo level. This applies to supreme overlords too.”

”Aren’t there stories about immortals’ lessons?” Mu Hu couldn’t help but ask: ”Zhan Sansheng was taught by an older immortal.”

”The same for Desolate Ancestor, taught by an immortal from time immemorial.” Orchidcore added.

”Being taught by an immortal doesn’t mean the student will become an immortal. Do all students of emperors become emperors?” Li Qiye shook his head.

”Well...” The group couldn’t retort.

”It merely improves the probability, and the immortal path is a million, billion times harder than the imperial path. One can only rely on their dao heart. As long as it is firm enough, guidance matters not.” Li Qiye said.

”I agree wholeheartedly.” The monarch said: ”Zhan Sansheng wasn’t the only one taught by an immortal but how many of them are immortals now? Those more talented aren’t as successful.”

”You know this too well.” Li Qiye said.

”Hahaha, not the same because the paths are different, so are the results.” The monarch laughed.

”Different paths?” Li Qiye said.

”Of course, I heard things, and it’s not my idea, that Heavenrealm is closer than the immortal path.” The monarch said.

”Heaven Realm? Don’t you mean Heaven World?” Orchidcore thought the monarch had misspoken and corrected him. In actuality, the monarch said the right title.

”All of this to ask for a path.” Li Qiye said.

”Hehe, the possibilities are endless as long as I am under your protection, Young Noble.” The monarch said.

”You want to go?” Li Qiye asked.

”I heard we can come and go from Three Immortals.” The monarch said seriously since this was a pivotal matter.

”Yes, you can return.” Li Qiye nodded.

”But we can’t find the path.” The monarch said.

”We? Not just the two of you, right?” Li Qiye asked.

”The truth is that I have a bet with the bull. We tried to follow the three’s footsteps but couldn’t find anything.” The monarch said.

”It’s not a path you can walk.” Li Qiye said.

”What must we do?” He asked.

”Become immortals first.” Li Qiye responded.

”Hmm...” The monarch fell into a brief silence before continuing: ”There should be another method.”

”How did you find out?” Li Qiye asked.

”Haha, the bull received information, not me.” The monarch said.

”The girl found it.” Li Qiye smiled and gazed into the horizon.

”I’m not sure about that.” The monarch didn’t dare to comment.

”It’s no secret. Yes, there is another method and it is rather simple. Destroy yourself and travel there with the dao heart.” Li Qiye said.

”It’s possible?” The monarch took a deep breath, not expecting such a simple answer. However, carrying it out was a different matter.

”You have to ask yourself that, are you determined enough?” Li Qiye asked.

”How did the three immortals travel back and forth?” The monarch asked.

”I’m afraid you all have a misunderstanding. Just because some people can become immortals, they think that the stage isn’t that remarkable.” Li Qiye said.

”We don’t think so.” The monarch smiled wryly.

”There are levels to this. The true pseudo-immortals don’t agree with the current classifications.” Li Qiye said: ”It is a huge mistake to become a so-called immortal and kill other so-called immortals and then underestimate the three immortals.”

”I’m sure some have talked about this topic before.” The monarch said.

”Three Immortals World is unique, far superior to his world. How did the three immortals manage to preserve it?” Li Qiye said.

The monarch had no response, aware of the implications. Future generations didn’t have a true grasp on the might of the three immortals and masters of the redemption grounds.

”Reach the primordial first before assuming the title of immortal, or even pseudo-immortals.” Li Qiye commented with a smile.

”What about Heavenrealm?” The monarch asked.

”If we measure immortals using legacies, then the number is rather high.” Li Qiye said: ”But as for reaching the primordial, far fewer.”

”Truly something that everyone looks forward to.” The monarch sighed.

”Really want to go?” Li Qiye asked.

”Everyone who knows this secret does, not just me, Young Noble.” The monarch said.

”Not necessarily. Some might go there only to be cannon-fodders or live in hiding.” Li Qiye said.

”Right, even the geezers from the redemption grounds are hiding.” The monarch said.

”The villainous heaven is always looming above.” Li Qiye said.

”Too far away from us, too far.” The monarch smiled wryly.

”Is that so, doesn’t seem to be too far or too close.” Li Qiye said.

The monarch understood because they were standing on Bodhi Ancestor’s corpse. The villainous heaven killed him, not allowing ascension.

”If you want to go, you must ask whether it is out of curiosity or to polish your dao heart. Don’t go in the former case, yes for the latter with a full rebuild.” Li Qiye said.

”A full rebuild might not let me reach the current height.” The monarch said softly.

”A matter of determination.” Li Qiye said.

”Ancestor, there is a hollow trunk over here.” The girl returned and said happily.
