Emperor’s Domination

“Yes, the leaf bestowed to me from Desolate Ancestor saved me.” Li Xuansu took out a leaf and said.

It exuded a refreshing and fragrant air. Just one whiff of it would remove impurities, protect the veins, and improve mental focus.

It had golden veins on the surface. These were flowing dao laws capable of keeping someone alive regardless of their grievous injuries.

“An immortal leaf refined by Desolate Ancestor.” Violet Dragon could sense a special energy flowing within.

“It saved me from the black energy’s invasion, protecting my internal veins.” Li Xuansu sighed.

“Whoever did this was rather capable. You would have been finished with a slower escape.” Li Qiye said.

“I was lucky.” Li Xuansu said: “Duanyu might not have been as lucky, the same for Miss Ling.”

“Who attacked you, Senior?” Violet Dragon became startled because this being managed to deal with three powerful cultivators – Li Xuansu, Jade-break True Emperor, and Phoenix Commander.

“Primal Yin Immortal Ghost.” Li Xuansu said softly.

“Hmm…” Violet Dragon was not familiar with this title.

“This is way later, we just didn’t know at first.” Li Xuansu said.

“Is it someone we know?” Violet Dragon asked.

“They say he is from Fiendish Ground and Evil Transformation, potentially their disciple.” Li Xuansu said.

“Not a disciple, a disciple would have fared better.” Li Qiye said.

“Right, Primal Yin Immortal Ghost was someone else.” Li Xuansu remarked.

“What?” This confused Violet Dragon.

“Luminous Master, that’s who he is.” Li Xuansu said.

“Why did he change his title?” Violet Dragon asked.

Luminous Master was from the same era as Violet Dragon – one of the greatest geniuses of their time.

He and his wife started one of the most powerful dao systems in Three Immortals. Everyone had high hopes for him, believing that he could become a supreme overlord. He would become as great as Gao Yang, leading others as protectors.

“We thought we could hand the torch over to him as leader of the next generation. It turned out he didn’t need our help to become a supreme overlord.” Li Xuansu smiled wryly.

“Do you know the details of why he changed?” Violet Dragon asked.

“It’s rather tragic, Luminous Creek was destroyed in one night.” Li Xuansu said.

“Was the culprit Supreme Heaven or someone else?” Violet Dragon asked.

“Unsure, but I do not believe it is Supreme Heaven, unlike many others including Luminous Master.” Li Xuansu said.

“Why did they spare him? Furthermore, they would have no issue admitting this.” Li Qiye smiled and interjected.

“I pondered this as well but Luminous Master vanished from thin air. I didn’t have time to investigate this since I have my mission.” Li Xuansu said.

“I see…” Violet Dragon found the whole thing perplexing.

“Although Luminous Master was strong, he was no match for you, Senior. What prompted the conflict?” She asked.

“It was a different matter when he became Primal Yin Immortal Ghost, his power was unimaginable and few could stop him.” Li Xuanshu shook her head.

“That strong? How?” Violet Dragon was moved upon hearing this.

“I was unsure, I didn’t know of the dual identities at first.” Li Xuansu said: “I was tasked with an investigation by Desolate Ancestor and Lord of Life and Death.”

“From those two?” Violet Dragon understood the gravity of the matter.

“It’s a long story.” Li Xuansu said: “From Immortals Slaughtered War to Heavenslay Battle, they understood Zhan Sansheng could reincarnate. Killing him was no easy task and he became stronger each time. The threat was unending.”

She paused for a second before continuing: “Gao Yang, Baihui, and Nine Secrets came up with an idea, wanting to find Zhan Sansheng’s reincarnation area and kill him before his immortal ascension.”

“It couldn’t have worked due to Zhan Sansheng’s wisdom. His movement was always enigmatic and I’m sure such a location was doubly so.” Violet Dragon said.

“They felt the same way and did their research. However, a secret message came from Supreme Heaven, from someone trusted by Gao Yang regarding the next location.”

“Luminous Master?” Violet Dragon guessed.

“Only Gao Yang knew and trusted the person completely. I only found out later.” Li Xuansu smiled wryly.

“His High Sun Pavilion.” Li Qiye smiled.

“It is as you said, Sir.” Li Xuansu nodded: “Gao Yang didn’t know when he would die so he always thought about leaving behind his legacy. Emperor Zheng was the first candidate but he failed the extinguishment, Luminous Master became the next best candidate.”

“The pavilion was the place for many ancient emperors and progenitors.” Violet Dragon was aware of this powerful organization. Gao Yang started it as a way to defend Three Immortals.

“Now, I am sure the message came from Luminous Master.” Li Xuansu said.

“How did he know?” Violet Dragon asked.

“He was rumored to have gone crazy after the destruction of Luminous Creek and couldn’t be found.” Li Xuansu sighed and said.
