Emperor’s Domination

Ye Sha was initially a powerful existence who transformed into a monster. Without Li Qiye’s refinement, her soul and mind would have been stuck forever.

“Thank you for saving me, Young Noble.” The woman’s sanity returned after gaining her past form.

She was drenched in sweat, whether it be due to the refinement process or still feeling traumatized.

Her beauty lit up the whole place, making others feel inferior. She wore a violet dress and had the same colored aura, adding mysteriousness and charm.

She needed no imperial gown or crown to display an air of regality. Despite not being a true emperor in terms of cultivation, her nobility wouldn’t lose against the best emperor.

Although she appeared fatigued with her dress sticking to her body from sweats, they only added to her allure.

“Your ancestor’s remnant item was beyond what you could have endured despite your strength.” Li Qiye said.

“I had no choice but to try, given the direness of the situation.” She said.

“I heard of how Zhan Sansheng destroyed your dao system but didn’t expect a survivor.” Li Qiye gestured for her to rise.

Violet Dragon Empress was a forgotten title – once the ruler of True Dragon Court and a great genius.

The system prospered under her rule but unfortunately, the opponent was Zhan Sansheng who found their lost cauldron.

A terrifying battle ensued, ending in their utter defeat and destruction. It only took one night for him to end one of the strongest dao lineages in Three Immortals.

Sadness arose once the past was brought up. The years didn’t completely erase this feeling.

“When we were on the verge of defeat, I ate a draconic pill and adorned the regalia left by the ancestor in a desperate attempt. I still lost and this soul was the only thing left, twisted into an abomination.” She said.

The pill and regalia activated her bloodline, allowing her to reach atavism. She became an ancestral dragon with enough power to fight Zhan Sansheng, or so she thought.

It turned out he was still stronger and killed her. Only one remnant soul remained.

The world thought her dao system was completely wiped out with no survivor. She managed to survive due to the special pill and regalia.

“Your ancestor prepared but didn’t need them so they were left here for the descendants. The hope was that someone would be strong enough to reach the right realm and then use them to deal with the heavenly tribulations. You were strong, but not strong enough. He actually saved you by killing you because these two things would have devoured you whole.” Li Qiye said.

She recalled how she entered a frenzy when she used the two artifacts and could have destroyed the system herself. Zhan Sansheng also suppressed their potency to defeat her.

Nevertheless, they protected a strand of soul and kept her alive.

“I still failed later to keep this power under control. Fortunately, Lord of Life and Death sent capable fellow daoists to help me.” She said.

She relied on her willpower to maintain sanity against the madness of the pill and regalia. Alas, once she could no longer tolerate it, her ancestral dragon blood changed into the form known as Ye Sha.

She swept through the realm but masters from Life and Death Heaven descended to seal her. This gave her enough support to maintain her final soul or it would have been consumed entirely – humanity replaced by bestiality.

“They saved your life but couldn’t cure the ailment.” Li Qiye said.

“Senior Li and the others tried their best.” Violet Dragon Empress glanced at the unconscious Li Xuansu.

The issue was that the pill and regalia fused with her soul. Their violent nature was one with her.

Moreover, they originated from one of the greatest beings in history – Long Dingtian. This was beyond the group’s ability.

Therefore, they sealed her here under Li Xuansu’s watchful eyes. They didn’t expect something to happen to Li Xuansu later on, weakening the seal.

As time passed, Violet Dragon Empress’ frenzy returned. Although considerably weaker than before, she still broke through the seals and escaped. This caused the slumbering Xuansu to wake up and continue her mission regardless of the fatal risks.
