I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2086: 24.347 Sixth Violet Star - Another Ritual

With the failure of the ambush from the Spirit God Thorn, he failed to kill the human marshal and was able to save the life of the Tiger God who didn’t care about his life just to protect his wife. Within the embrace of the Ninetailed Fox Goddess, the Tiger God was bleeding so badly that his face turned pale. It was unknown what Marshal Gu Ying had done to prevent the Tiger God from using his divine energy to close the wounds. Right now, with that huge hole on the Tiger God’s stomach, the bleeding not stopping would drain his divinity until he became a mortal and died as one.

The Ninetailed Fox Goddess panicked seeing her husband’s situation.

”Husband, don’t close your eyes! Please listen to me, okay?” The Ninetailed Fox Goddess pleads.

The Tiger God who was slowly losing his Tiger God’s bloodline was turning back to his human form. Seeing his wife’s eyes full of tears he wanted to reach out a hand to wipe them only to stop seeing his hand covered in blood.

”Wife, don’t be sad. Everything is there for a reason. I am not afraid of death,” said the Tiger God.

Upon hearing this the Ninetailed Fox Goddess hugs her husband tightly while crying out. The Spirit God Thorn looked at the couple with confusion. When he learned about the immortality blessing of the Beastmen race, he didn’t believe it at first. Only when he had witnessed the first ritual the Prophet of the Beastmen race had done and the result of it bring back everyone back to life and normal was something he will never forget. In his mind, a thought lingers after watching that scene. ’Just as I thought those two beastmen princes are monsters who defy even the natural laws..’

Spirit God Thorn appeared before the couple and said, ”Why are you crying like this? Use the blessing! Don’t you have the same blessing as your race? The Blessing of Immortality!”

”Blessing of Immortality? What ...are you... talking about?” The Ninetailed Fox Goddess asked in bewilderment.

Before them the God of all spirits, Lord Thorn, looked even more confused and said, ”Don’t tell me you can’t activate it on your own? Then ask your son. He can activate it for you. Anyway if you aren’t going to fight, move to the side.”

The Spirit God Throne controlled the black vines to bring the couple near the place where the Lord Guardian Vega and Lord Prophet Heri are staying together with the other survivors. Heri was shocked when he saw his parents suddenly appearing within a cocoon of the black vines. He knew that the only being who can control these vines is none other than Lord Thorn.

Only when he saw that wound on his father did he realize that something was wrong with it. Even after the remaining elder shamans tried their best to save him.

”Dad’s wound is not healing?” Lord Prophet Heri said.

Lord Guardian Vega said, ”It seems something is preventing it from healing. Must be the doing of the marshal.” They heard that his wound is done by the human marshal who is now fighting against the Spirit God.

The Ninetailed Fox Goddess said was falling in despair at every second pass. She finally looked at her youngest son and said, ”He’er, the Spirit God said you can heal your Dad.”

”Me? I am not a healer!” Prophet Heri said.

Lord Guardian Vega thought of something and said, ”He’er, they must be talking about that ritual. Maybe the blessing on your parents is something they cannot activate themselves.”

”That’s right! The ritual! Let’s do it and bring everyone back to life! Even though we can’t fight with Lord Thorn, helping him from behind should still be possible!” The Prophet said. ”Elders, please help me with the ritual spell circle!”

The elder shamans, knowing this is to save their ancestors, didn’t waste time and started making the spell circle to activate the blessings within the bloodline of the beastmen race. After everything was done, Lord Guardian helped the Tiger God to be placed inside the spell circle together with the baskets of hairs from their deceased tribesmen.

Prophet Heri once again used the ritual to activate but as soon as he was about to cut his wrist, his mother and father regretted it.

”He’er! What are you doing? Stop!” The Ninetailed Fox Goddess said as she held her youngest’s son’s wrist.

In their eyes, their youngest son was unlike their eldest who was born extremely healthy. Heri is born sickly and weak. Adding the fact that the inherited bloodline ability of foresight was something he was born with made his parents worry about his health the most.

The Tiger God said, ”Why do you need to shed blood for this ritual? If it needs your blood then don’t do it at all!”

”But Mom, Dad, it needs the blood of our royal bloodline to activate the spell circle! We need to heal Dad and revive everyone back to life!” Prophet Heri said.

Everyone already knew about this except for the Ninetailed Fox Goddess and the Tiger Go leaving the dumbfounded. Though they already heard a bit from the Spirit God, they didn’t believe that their race had a blessing of immortality which no one from the divine realm possessed.

”Blood? Revive? Can you truly revive everyone?!” The Ninetailed Fox Goddess exclaimed.

The Lord Guardian said, ”Not all mother-in-laws. Only those of our race and left a piece of them can be resurrected.”

”If it’s our blood they use mine. It’s been spilled after all,” The Tiger God said.

Lord Prophet Heri thought that this reason is plausible and controlled his father’s blood to activate the spell circle as the ritual begins. As expected, the spell circle activates and the effect is greater when using the blood of a god like the Tiger God. The wound on the Tiger God’s stomach closed under the naked gaze of his wife while he didn’t notice it as he looked around and witnessed a strange scene.

The absurd scene of people growing heads from the hair and eventually their whole body as well. Even as gods who had witnessed a lot of magical scenes, this collective revival of their tribe left the Ninetailed Fox Goddess and the Tiger God flabbergasted. No matter how you say it, it is scary to witness one grow a head from a hair and body from the head. Then the miraculous scene of these newly grown... Ahem! Revive bodies waking up.

The Ninetailed Fox Goddess comments, ”This is unbelievable! Just what kind of blessing would have this kind of effect? This is already against the laws of this world yet the heavens aren’t given our race any punishment.”

”He’er, do you know who gave this blessing to our race?” The Tiger God asked with a serious expression on his face.

Heri answered honestly. ”He is the youngest son of my elder brother, Xiao Jing.”

The Ninetailed Fox Goddess and the Tiger God suddenly recalled the figure of that gorgeous little young man with a playful smile yet cold eyes. The scene of him kicking down the Holy Dragon God and beating him up were still fresh in their minds. Then they calmed down almost immediately. If it’s that powerful grandson of theirs then it’s no wonder that the blessing is overbearing as well.

The Tiger God said, ”Well, if it’s him then this blessing is no surprise.”

”Dad, you’ve met Xiao Jing before? Aren’t you in the Divine Realm?” Asked Heri.

Vega thought of something and said, ”He came to the divine realm? Is he alone?”

”No. Xiao Ye is with him. They only come with their soul,” The Ninetailed Fox Goddess said.

The Lord prophet said, ”So, it’s true that they had become gods. That’s why they’ve suddenly disappeared one day.”

”Don’t think too much. We can see them again in the future. Your mom and I will leave our hair here. We need to go back and help the Spirit God. This Marshal is not a human nor is a being from our world. He must be eliminated or our world would be destroyed by him. He is a lot more dangerous than the Evil Beast God and his summoner,” said the Tiger God.

The Ninetailed Fox Goddess said to her son, ”Son, stay here. Don’t join the battle. Vega, I will leave him in your care.”

”Yes, Mom. May Victory be with you!” The Lord Guardian saluted.

The rest of the people in the crowd saluted the same way and said the same line.

While the situation at the ancient forest temporarily stabilized, the situation at the borders had changed. Ever since the arrival of the children, female and young warriors of all four races coming to the borders, everything had changed. The young warriors were immediately added among the soldiers and were split among the other groups. Most of it ended in the group of Long Juedi’s elite force. Most logistic and rear cooperations were handled by the women and the former soldiers who were tasked now got time to resume their training so they could join the others to the frontlines.

It can be said that with this additional force, the lacking parts within the borders had been filled. Thanks to that, Long Juedi and his team were now able to find the perfect teammates for the next beast wave.

It didn’t take long before the second wave of beast race under the command and control of Pei Jin and his evil beast god, Ouroboros to attack the borders once again.
