I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2068: 24.329 Sixth Violet Star - Successful Ritual

Witnessing such a miraculous scene of people’s injuries, regeneration and resurrection left the two vassal captains speechless. To see is to believe they say, now they had witnessed it with their own eyes, they had no other choice but to believe it now. Especially after seeing the unbelievable scene of someone coming back completely and living with just a single arm. After everyone within the tribe was cured, the blessing from the God of Destruction had been once again deactivated.

The voices full of surprise, disbelief and joy resound in the area, with most beastmen hugging, crying and jumping around with joy. Even though the elder shamans had already explained to them the plan to save the human children, and that they were promised that none of them would truly die

Within the spell circle, Lord Prophet looks a bit pale and dizzy. Upon seeing him like this Lord Guardian immediately appeared by his side and caught him before he fell.

”He’er?! How are you feeling?” asked the former elf king as he stared at the cut wounds on his wrist. Seeing that it had closed under his gaze, he immediately realized that his mate was now running out of qi.

It seems that to activate the blessing from the God of Destruction, he had to use his qi and his blood as medium for activation. Thankfully, it worked and the blessing activated instantly healing and reviving his tribe members. Even his cut wrist was instantly healed, the only thing it couldn’t replenish was his qi which was used to activate the spell circle.

Lord Prophet Heri responded to his beloved with a smile, ”I’m fine. After I meditate, I should return to normal.”

”It seems we can’t casually use this ritual,” an elderly shaman said.

Another elder shaman speaks up, ”Indeed. The output of qi for it overused the qi of the Lord Prophet. At most, it cannot be done one after another. There should be enough duration in between for the caster to be able to rest.”

”It also needs the blood of the royalty as a medium. Right now, only the Lord Prophet is from the royal family and he had already cast it once. He must take a rest for at least a week or a month for full recovery for the blood loss.”

”If so then we should be careful with the next round of battles.”

Elder shamans who had just checked on the situation of their Lord Prophet conversed with their Lord Guardian and Lord Prophet.

The Lord Guardian Vega said, ”Do not worry. At least for a week, the human race wouldn’t be able to fully launch an attack on us. We had successfully sealed the human marshal as planned. We better reconstruct or strengthen the barrier around the inner area of the ancient forest and buy more time.”

”Actually, I think Brother Vega can also activate the blessing,” Lord Prophet Heri said.

The other beastmen were stunned and almost all of them were staring at their lord guardian in disbelief.

Lord Prophet Heri said, ”The requisite for the activation of this blessing is the blood of the royal family. My mate is a part of that royal family.”

As if awakened by the words of their prophet, an elder shaman approached the Lord Guardian and took his hand.

The elder shaman said, ”Please forgive me for this, Lord Guardian. It must be checked.”

”Go ahead.” The former elf king said.

Under everyone’s gaze, the elder shaman stabbed the palm of the Lord Guardian and immediately pulled the small knife out. They watched as the hole in their lord guardian’s palm sucked back the spilled blood and the hole closed up almost immediately. Moreover, not even a scar was left behind. Now the beastmen all believe that the meaning of royal family didn’t mean just their blood connection but also becoming a part of the royal family.

The Lord Guardian is considered a part of the royal family because he is married to the Lord Prophet. This means the mate of those from the Ninetailed Fox Beastmen bloodline would also be considered a royal blood and their blessings are always activated.

The elder shaman exclaimed, ”This is good news. Now we don’t have to let the sickly Lord Prophet bear the burden of the ritual. This also means that Princess Haerin, Beast God Mo Minkong and Leader Huzi can activate the blessings. If the two princes return they should be able to do so as well!”

Sigh~

”Great! Then let me do the ritual next time!” Lord Guardian Vega said.

The elder shamans were all in agreement to this request. Unlike the Lord Prophet who was born with a weak body for a warrior like the Lord Guardian, letting out a small amount is no problem for him. If they knew from the beginning they wouldn’t have let the prophet do it in the first place now he is almost fainting. But there is something they couldn’t understand. The Lord Guardian had the same active blessing as the prophet. How can he return with a missing arm?

As if feeling the confused gaze of the elders wandering on his left arm which was regenerated, the Lord Guardian understood their source of confusion. It’s that missing arm of his from before.

”If you are thinking about my wounds and missing arm from before I’ve intentionally not allowed it to regenerate. I can somehow control my blessing to some extent and this is to fool the human marshal, Gu Ying, for making a mistake which I had planned.” Lord Vega said as he looked at his mate and said, ”He’er, I’ve successfully used the orb you’ve given me. I’ve sacrificed my arm for it.”

”No wonder you come back with a missing arm,” said Lord Prophet Heri. ”So what happened?”

—

After the Lord Prophet asked the Lord Guardian about what happened, Lord Vega had no other choice but to tell them how their plans had unfolded. After everyone from the beastmen race learned about the blessing, their hesitation to fight from before had completely disappeared. Now all they want to do is to save all the children who are being sacrificed by their own race.

Commander Vega looked at his subordinates.

Then says, ”As the vanguard you know what must be done. I will not stop you from saving the children but never forget to make sure to not have your whole body destroyed. You might not be able to revive if there is not even a piece of you left.”

”Also your priority is to save as many children as you can and put them all to sleep then retreat. Do not carelessly give away your lives. We should never let our enemy learn about our blessing.”

Seeing the serious expressions on these beastmen, the Lord Guardian finally decided to implement their plan. It was for this reason alone that they didn’t allow anyone from the vassals group to join them. After all, unlike them the elves and the dwarfs didn’t possess such a kind of blessing.

The human race had used their numbers to completely occupy the outer ring of the ancient forest. They were halfway encircling the forest, preventing their enemies from coming out of the ancient forest. Of course, the human side was as organized as others thought. There is only one leader and the rest were all just simply puppets under his control. At this point the force control on the humans hasn’t been activated yet but those ordinary humans had finally realized that the real demon isn’t the dwarfs or the elves but their very own marshal, Gu Ying.

A soldier came to report to the marshal about the situation at the camp.

”Lord Marshal, most of the parents of the children we had brought over by force were now rioting. They didn’t want to get separated from their children. What should we do?” The soldier asked.

The emotionless Lord Marshal, Gu Ying calmly commanded, ”Kill until they are obedient. I do not need the adult parents anyway, only the children. Gather all the children for me.”

”Yes. Lord Marshal!” The soldier said.

The next moment the whole camp was covered with the sounds of screaming in despair, crying in agony and death curses before everything suddenly became quiet. The soldier from before seems to have executed the commands of the marshal well. In just half an hour, with the despairing sounds coming from the outside gone, he reentered the main camp to report to their Lord Marshal.

This time the soldier’s armor was covered in blood as he kneel before Marshal Gu Ying who is in front of him.

”Lord Marshal. All the children had gathered waiting for your presence.”

”Good work! Push me out and let me meet them.” the Lord Marshal said as he was seated on a wheelchair and now pushed outside the tent to see the others.

Once he had gotten out of the main tent, most soldiers had kneeled before his presence and one can see them surrounding the frightened children crying, glaring and kneeling on the ground.

As soon as the Marshal came out of his camp, a brave boy picked a stone and threw it towards Marshal Gu Ying while shouting,

”You damn monster!!!”
