I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2058: 24.319 Sixth Violet Star - The Black Sword

At the Military Compound...

Marshal Gu Ying seems to have suffered some kind of backlash after his contracted beast was killed. Though it didn’t kill him, it had greatly affected his mortal vessel. If it was the original Gu Ying, he might be able to survive the backlash as most humans before contracting a beast would swore a vow especially for those who had signed an equal contract. The kamaitachi and the original Gu Ying had signed an equal contract and their lives are connected. The beast knew that his master had somehow changed because it didn’t know that the soul inside its master’s body had long been replaced.

At the last moment of the Kamaitachi’s life, it has heard its real master’s voice for the last time asking him to leave the world together. The original Gu Ying no longer had any reason to stay, after his son, Gu Yang’s death was caused by the one who stole his body, he no longer had any thoughts of leaving. He allowed his beast to destroy their contract until the end which would eventually destroy his body.

Cough!

That’s why after the contract was broken, Marshal Gu Ying puked a large amount of blood and he felt his whole body hollowed by something that was meant to be there.

”What the hell?”

Cough. Cough

The Marshal staggered as he tried to lean at the window only to fall on his weakened knee, the soldier who came to check on him had witnessed this scene. The scene of blood being vomited by the marshal showed how he almost fell on the ground.

”Lord Marshal!”

The soldier panicked as the marshal let himself be caught by him. Even though the marshal hasn’t completely lost consciousness yet, just his state was enough to tell the soldier that it was extremely bad. The soldier had no other choice but to call the others and have the marshal be brought to the clinic. The marshal only fainted when the doctors had arrived.

The current marshal fell in a slumber where he had noticed that his soul to avoid being affected by the backlash of the contract had returned to its origin. Surrounded by endless darkness, he can feel the source of energy of the world near him. Though this source of energy was protected by something, under the actions he had taken the protective barrier around it can be almost destroyed. Once the barrier around it is gone, he can use the world’s energy to recreate his vessel.

”It’s not time yet. Just a bit more. The sword will find the Lord. Once the Lord remembers everything, then we should be able to win.”

This man whose whole being was covered in the darkness had once again and his current soul returned to the mortal body he is residing. Once this soul opened his eyes to reality, he saw a few soldiers and doctors talking to one another until one of them had noticed him opening his eyes.

”The Lord Marshal had opened his eyes! He is awake!”

”This is great! The Marshal had woken up!”

”Stay away! We need to check on the Lord Marshal!”

The doctor shooed the others and checked on the Lord Marshal, Gu Ying, who had suddenly puked blood and was brought over to the hospital as an emergency case. No one would have expected that the Marshal would suddenly fell out of nowhere and suffer internal injuries which signifies all failure signs from it.

”Lord Marshal, almost all of your organs are experiencing failure. If this continues you... You...”

”Lord Marshal what happened? This kind of ending only happens when one breaks the contract with your beast forcibly. It is something... Something only the beast can cause.”

”Did something happen to the marshal’s contracted beast?”

”Is that thing even a beast? It no longer has its own shape.”

”That is just a monster with a beast as its origin.”

”Shut your mouth!”

All kinds of words entered the ears of the Marshal and he immediately knew what had happened to him. Thinking of that beast he had sent to not only assassinate Gu Yang but also ordered it to kill the other main character of the world, he felt that he had let his guard down too much and had been guarding too much towards the Guardian of the Cosmos. Because of this, the original Gu Ying had schemed against him silently.

The Lord Marshal after being helped by the doctor to seat up finally decided to stop holding back and wanted to kill the beastmen race before he returned to his real body. As long as the beastmen race falls first, the original plot would happen and this would greatly weaken the influence of the world on this star. Once that happens his soul would be able to gather enough energy to create another vessel for himself.

”Listen to my order. Exterminate the beings in the ancient forest. Everyone will go this time!” Marshal Gu Ying commanded.

Once the Marshal had woken up chaos had fallen on the Military Compound. Even against their will after all, almost all humans in the compound were already under his control. So as long as he gave an order, regardless of whether they are willing or not, they will have no other choice but to do so. After the order of the marshal had been decided, everyone in the compound was asked to gather.

After the people within the room had left to make the preparation, the Marshal with pale face mumbles, ”You tried to drag me down. However, Gu Ying, you failed to kill me. Now this whole realm will have to suffer ahead of time thanks to you. As long as I find that cosmos stone in the ancient forest, I will be able to wake up.”

The Cosmos Stone Marshal Gu Ying was talking about is the same stone the former Beast Kings had been keeping with him. Two of it was lost as it was taken away by the God of Destruction as he found out about it. The third one was found and he had taken it from the Evil Beast God and his contractor, Pei Jin. The last one, he feels it coming from the ancient forest. It was even stronger than the others, that’s why he was attracted to it. It’s a cosmos stone made from the abyss that fits his affinity. With it he can be officially reborn in this world and in this cosmos.

His original plan has two parts. One is to find the reincarnation of the Dark Lord and second is to control this cosmos from within. Though the second plan would take too long, as long as he is successful, he would be able to take over this cosmos and make it their own. That’s why he is being careful. Even when he gave his subordinate some of his cosmos energy to overwhelm the others of this world, he made sure to warn them to only use this energy discreetly and not openly.

After all, once it was done openly the ending will be the same as the human general who was crushed by that unknown hand that fell from the sky. At the very least, he had no intention of getting caught until he found their lord who had died on the cosmos battle field and was allowed to be reborn in this cosmos. There is also the fact that they are now preventing the God of Destruction from waking up. Once that being wakes up it would be hard for them to do anything on this cosmos.

Barren Land. Core Region.

Suddenly, getting contacted through the Nether System’s connection, the two wardens had reached out to them about something extremely important. The God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness were spending their daily lives normally when the sound of the system rang in their heads.

[Chief Warden, Lou Wuye, is asking for permission to connect with the Lord of Destruction, Lord Hei Anjing.]

Hei Anjing was stunned to see such a request. The couple looked at each other and agreed. A holographic screen appeared before the couple showing the face of the chief warden and warden Yun Ming.

[Reporting to Lord Hei and Lord Ye, we found a strange sword that looks so similar to Lord Shiyuan.]

A rare surprised expression appeared on the faces of the young couple. Warden Yun Ming didn’t dare to touch the black sword and could only drag it with his red strings. The moment the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness saw the sword, they immediately knew that it was indeed Ye Xiajie’s sword. To be precise, it was the Dark Lord’s sword before he died, the current Shenyuan in his possession is just a part of this sword’s original shape.

Ye Xiajie controlled the sword and restrained the cosmos energy it was emitting. If not for the blessing they had given to the two wardens, these two would most likely get eaten. This sword was the abyss itself. The core of the Obsidian Cosmos under the control of the Dark lord.

Hei Anjing helped him get the sword teleported directly to where they are. The moment the black sword appeared in the God of Destruction’s hand, the atmosphere between the two of them became tense.
