I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2056: 24.317 Sixth Violet Star - Explosion

Xue Laira’s sense of danger had picked up something coming from the monster. As soon as she saw the eerie unknown aura from the monster, she immediately warned everyone. After all, they were all restraining it. If she was too late and didn’t inform everyone ahead of time, they might suffer a lot from something unknown.

She shouted urgently, ”Let it go! There is a strange aura coming from the monster!”

Everyone heard Xue Laira’s voice and almost instinctively they all let go of the rope they were holding and instead used something else to pin down.

SHRIEKS~

After the monster was pinned down to ground by their weapons they jumped away. They’ve noticed that the weapon they used to nail the tentacles of the monster slowly turns black and crumbles into dust. They were terrified. They had all realized that if they didn’t listen to Xue Laira that such an ending would definitely be their endings.

”Fuck! What the hell is that aura?”

”It instantly turned the weapons to nothing!”

”No wait. Look at what is happening around the monster! Is the tree drying up like that normal?”

”The land under it didn’t seem normal either.”

”Should we still drag it on this side?”

Long Juedia also noticed something else, the unknown aura was strange but restrained. It was as if this aura was holding back so much that they could barely notice it. If not for Xue Laira they might not notice it at all. If that had happened would they all turn to dust (nothing) just from touching it. This monster doesn’t seem to want to use this ability at all. As if it was hiding from something. Now the problem is what should they do next. If they can’t touch the monster it would run away.

”This aura is something that cannot be touched. What should we do now?”

”If it cannot be touched should we throw holy water on it. Maybe that eerie aura would be destroyed instead.”

Long Juedi said, ”There is no need to touch it. Just threw some countless spells on him. That might be effective instead!”

He had summoned the best support of holy energy from his side. This contracted beast is a young holy beast called angel. It was born with divinity and can purify almost everything in this world. The miniature angel was no longer in the form of a fist sized angel like when it was first hatched. It now possessed a human size form and single round wings in the past had now turned into legit white feathered angel wings. She didn’t only have one pair of wings but two, now flapping on her back keeping her floating.

{What are your orders, Master?} The angel asked.

Long Juedi commanded, ”Sun Angel, use purification on that monster!”

{Your wish is my will, my master!}

After receiving her master’s command, the white feathered angel flew above their group emitting a golden glow which left some specks of light raining from her and gathered it into her hands creating a bow out of nowhere and the golden orb she had gathered before and turned it into an arrow. Everyone now watched as the angel pulled her bow and let the golden arrow fly towards the monster near the borders. Once the arrow was pulled, it multiplied into hundreds falling down from the sky to every part of the monster’s body. Almost all of the golden arrows had landed on the body and some landed on the tainted land and dead trees.

Everyone expected for the monster to die from the rain of arrows but instead it woke up. There are countless holes on its body but under their naked eyes, it suddenly started healing and the one causing the healing as that eerie aura Xue Laira felt before.

”How come it is still alive!?”

”Light and holy elements don’t seem to be weak. Try the other elements!” Xue Laira said.

They had all thrown all kinds of elemental spells. Even though there are wounds, it was only superficial for the monster as its wounds were being healed as soon as it was wounded.

”Dammit! Why the hell can it heal like that? Isn’t that regeneration itself?”

”This is not useful! None of our work on it!”

Xue Laira noticed that even though it was only a little bit, she noticed that the black aura is being suppressed by something.

She exclaims, ”No it’s working! Its aura is getting weaker! Continue to attack it! Just a bit longer! As long as that aura weakens we can definitely drag it here!”

Everyone had believed the words of Xue Laira and everyone looked at each other before coordinating another round of attacks. Meanwhile, the monster who had just finished healing itself wanted to curse. But a golden chain appeared around him replacing the ropes that he had melted before. This golden chain was made by the angel to restrain the monster. Everyone had worked together to defeat the monster and it took awhile to do so. After the monster fell on the ground everyone had pulled it over to the borders waiting for it to enter the other side. They wanted to know what would happen and they regretted it almost immediately after what they had experienced.

The body of the unconscious monster was pulled on the other side. While watching what might happen next, they remained a bit faraway from the monster. They waited for a few minutes only to notice that nothing was happening at all.

”Nothing is happening?”

”Why the hell is it afraid then?”

”That strange aura is still there. Don’t recklessly touch it!”

With the warning from their leader, Nan Jiang, who was complaining before about nothing, suddenly the body of the monster got larger.

Out of nowhere, Haerin heard a voice in her heart saying, {Get away from there!}

She immediately listened to the voice as she shouted, ”GET AWAY!”

Amid the escaping children the body of the monster exploded. As if some kind of bomb had exploded, just the sheer force of it was enough to throw people away from the area. What made it worse is that the flesh and blood that the monster had eaten had exploded with them. Even the dismembered and not digested body of Gu Yang was among them. Some of them failed to escape on time and suffered the most. They were covered in blood and monster juice from the monster. No one expected this at all and they all now look like they had fallen in some kind of gruesome pool of blood and flesh.

Meanwhile at the borders...

Everyone was fighting against the waves of beasts coming to attack them and didn’t even notice the explosion that took place from behind them. Even if they noticed there wouldn’t be people to check on it as they were currently under attack. The beast waves had gotten larger every since the day the gods in the mortal realm had shown themselves. True to the words Pei Jin had wanted, this time he was seriously trying to destroy the border walls. However, there are some who had noticed it like the two commanders at the frontlines.

”What the hell just exploded just now?” The Ninetailed Fox Beastmen leader, Huzi asked.

The Beast God Mo Minkong said, ”It came from the rear! Wife, focus on what is in front of us. I will send someone to check it. We must defend the walls. It mustn’t fall now!”

”I know! I’m going to fight in my real form. Husband, protect my back!” Lord Huzi said.

They were now the vanguards surrounded with most beasts. Moreover, most of the beasts they are holding back were mutated ones which the current army cannot hold back on their own. That’s why even as gods they are now standing at the battlefield fighting the invaders who wanted to take over their land.

In the middle of the battlefield surrounded by the beast race, Huzi had returned to his beast form. A huge white ninetailed fox suddenly appeared in the middle of the beast waves killing all the beast that appeared before it, using even all its nine tails just to kill all the beasts in the area.

From the Barren Lands, Pei Jin and the Evil Beast God, Lord Ouroboros were watching. The moment they saw the Ninetailed Fox Beast massive form appearing in the middle of the battlefield, they were all amazed. The Ninetailed Fox had always been the embodiment of beauty among the beast. They also possessed divinity and were mistaken as the messenger of the Gods. Well in the case of Lord Huzi, he indeed has a god’s bloodline thanks to his mother, the Ninetailed Fox Goddess.

Pei Jin said, ”Even a Demigod like this Ninetailed Fox Beastmen had appeared on the battlefield. Are we still not going to show ourselves?”

”Not yet! Don’t forget they are not our enemies and killing them means... that tyrant would definitely come after our heads. Have you forgotten how he had restrained us before? We are not his opponent yet.” Lord Ouroboros, the Evil Beast God said.

Tsk!

Pei Jin looked gloomy and said, ”Just how long is that Long bastard going to take his time! I wanted to kill him this time!”
