I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2067: 24.328 Sixth Violet Star - Blessing of the God of Destruction

Seeing the giant tiger beast being beheaded by a familiar looking female dwarf, Pei Jin was enraged. Among those who made a move, he instantly spotted Long Juedi and Haerin. Upon seeing them, his eyes turned bloodshot from madness and rage. The hatred that accompanied him throughout all their previous lives and all those defeats he had suffered from was something he cannot easily forget.

”LONG JUEDI!”

Echoing the whole battlefield is the hatred field voice of the Evil Beast God’s contractor, Pei Jin. Just the sight of the protagonist, Long Juedi was enough to make him go crazy with insanity.

Lord Ouroboros said, ”Calm down, Xiao Jin!”

”No. I can’t! I want to kill him!” Pei Jin said as he controlled all of the Giant beasts and summoned all of them to attack the border walls all at the same time.

”Kill Long Juedi no matter!” This is the issued command of Pei Jin to the beast who had undergone Gigantification.

The real command was not to target the walls but to kill Long Juedi no matter what. As if affected by the emotions of their summoner, the four gigantic beasts had all entered their berserk state and are now heading to the walls just to find the target of their master’s hostility. Upon seeing this, the Evil Beast God didn’t stop whatever Pei Jin had done. He had always been by his side in their previous lives and it was only in this life that he had gained enough power to protect him and was finally born safely. The only reason for this to happen is because he had recalled his origin while Pei Jin was reborn with his previous life’s memories this time.

However, in this timeline, so many things that never existed before exist now. Like the existence of the two beast princes and the fact that his superior, Lord Zhuge was also born in this world. Just when he thought that the world had given him and Pei Jin a chance to survive, the world had suddenly entered hell mode. Lord Ouroboros is unsure whether he or Pei Jin will be able to survive this time. However, at the very least, he wanted Pei Jin, this kind soul of his master, to resolve his hatred in this life.

The Evil Beast God’s thoughts: ’Alright, do as you wish in this lifetime. I promise to protect you no matter whatever consequences I must bear.’

Unknown to him, these interactions and thoughts were all seen through by the God of Destruction who was watching the scenes unfold. It was unknown what Lord Hei thinks of the situation of the Evil Beast God and Pei Jin but a rare mischievous smile appeared on the corner of his lips. Then he moves his lips as if speaking something voiceless but the Evil Beast God who is a few hundred meters away from where the God of Destruction is, turned his head as if he heard something known only to him.

While the war against the protagonist and the villain is in progress, the situation at the ancient forest has gotten a bit worse. With the full charge of the military towards the forest, the residents of the area were outnumbered causing an increase to those who were badly wounded and most of them were the beastmen race who had blocked through the frontlines. The dwarfs and the elves couldn’t understand why their commander, the Lord Guardian had suddenly commanded them all to retreat with only the beastmen warriors acting as vanguard.

It’s not that Lord Vega had intentionally forgotten to explain things to their vassals but to trick their enemies they must trick their comrades first. Now at the rear, even the ground of the open area of the tribe camp was now covered with injured beastmen. Some of them had lost a part of their limbs before yet all they did was groan and not cry in pain.

Captain Vera and Captain Garan were looking at the situation before them with gloomy eyes. After all, among these beastmen were their friends whom they work together with, some seniors who had trained them and a warrior who had welcomed them upon entering this forest.

”Even though we are supposed to be their vassals. Even though it’s our duty to sacrifice ourselves to keep our masters alive. Even though we are supposed to fight together with them. I couldn’t understand the lord! Why doesn’t he allow us to fight?” Captain Vera said as the leader of the current elves who had become vassals of the Beastmen race.

”They must have a reason. Didn’t we come here to ask them this?” Garan said.

Captain Garan as a king can see more than what Elf Vera can. As someone who used to stand among his own race, he knew that this situation is merely a show that their side is weakening. The reason must be, because they wanted the other side to lower their guard down.

But looking at the group of dying and injured beastmen before his eyes, he couldn’t help but question them in his heart. Is it worthy to sacrifice this much just to blind the eyes of their enemies. Seeing the current state of these beastmen warriors there is no way they can continue to fight at this point.

”Is this sacrifice worth enough?” Garan mumbled.

The two were so overwhelmed by their emotions that they didn’t know that Lord Guardian Vega had returned with his troops.

Lord Guardian Vega said, ”It’s worth enough. But... This cannot be even called a sacrifice.”

”Commander!” Captain Garan and Captain Vera exclaimed.

The former elf king said, ”If you wish to understand the meaning of my words then stay... See for yourself what my words meant.”

The vanguard had returned to the main camp. Though most of them were badly injured and even Lord Vega had lost an arm and had a horrible wound on his face, he didn’t react much. Including with their group are the human children controlled by Marshal Gu Ying to attack their side. This is also the reason why most beastmen were badly injured. They prioritized the safety of the children instead of theirs. The current group also brought the bodies of those who had died among their tribe even if there is only a part of their limb left, they all still brought them back.

Captain Vera’s face turned pale at the sight of the corpses that were brought together with them as they returned together with the children forced to enter slumber.

He asked, ”Why bring the corpses back at this point? We can bring them home once everything is over!”

”No. This is better. At least they won’t get trampled at the following events that would unfold in the future.” Captain Garan said.

Lord Guardian Vega said, ”That is not the only reason.”

”Send the children to the place we had prepared for now, keep them restrained until we find a way to remove the control over their souls!”

”As you wish, Lord Guardian!”

Some shaman beastmen ordered their disciples to handle the children while they handle the main duties to perform the activation of their tribe’s blessing.

”Lord Guardian, the Lord Prophet is ready. We are about to start,” the eldest shaman within the tribe said.

Lord Vega looked at his mate’s seat at the center of the ritual circle with worry until his beloved smiled at him.

”Don’t overdo it, He’er,” The Lord Guardian said.

The two were startled by the words of their commander but before they could react, they saw him order his subordinates to bring the corpses among the injured and laid them on the ground as well. They were bewildered by such a reaction and couldn’t believe what they were seeing. Because in their eyes, these actions were no different than letting the dead mix with the living.

Captain Vera said, ”Commander, what are you doing?”

The Lord Guardian didn’t explain and commanded his troop to stand down. Now that they are allowed to rest, they collectively fall on their knees like puppets with broken strings. They were barely living and their breaths were shallow which shocked the two captains. However, what happened next had shaken their worldview. Something they would never expect to witness in their lives.

They watch the Lord Prophet seated in the middle of some kind of ritual circle and two elder shamans cut his two wrists letting his blood flow through the patterns on the ground. What is surprising enough was the blood that was shed had merged with the shape making the spell circle glow and expand to the whole village. Under this light, every beastmen within the circle including the Lord Guardian was covered with this red light. They heard the Lord ProphetProphet start chanting some words unknown to them. What they didn’t know was this is an ancient language only gods can understand and under this chanting the blessing that the God of Destruction had given to his whole tribe and family members had activated. Temporary Immortality.

Under the eyes of the two captains, Garan and Vera, the injuries of the beastmen had all closed up and even their blood had been reversely summoned to their bodies until not even a hint of blood and wounds remained in their bodies. They all started waking up the moment the pain had disappeared. But what is even more ridiculous is what is happening at the corpses within the spell circle next.

Captain Garan and Captain Vera who was witnessing the whole scene were dumbfounded. They were voiceless at the scene unfolding before them. Those who lose a limb regrown almost immediately, those who died got their bodies repaired and their dead hearts started beating once again. What is even more mystifying are those who were just merely a limb who grew back its missing parts until it was complete and the dead had revived to its original state.

”Am I dreaming? Did I just see their wounds all closed up and all healed!?”

”One of them was resurrected from just a single arm. Head, body, leg and everything was regenerated! Is this even a revival!? How is it even possible?!”
