I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 290: 8.17 First Blue Star - Spy

KYAAAAHHHHHH!!!

The squealing echoed inside the training hall as soon as the marshal had taken his leave. With Bai Yuyan in lead, the rest were surrounding Feng Jing with eyes glowing with the curiosity of gossip.

Bai Yuyan asked, ”Jing, itʼs only been days since when did you get all that mushy-mushy with him?” with a mischievous grin on his face.

”What do you mean days? I just woke up yesterday okay. I got introduced formally the same day.” said Feng Jing while lowering his head with red cheeks.

[Ugh~ this kind of host is... Creepy ba~]

”Tsk! Get used to it. Iʼm a bit bored and I want to play this role.” said Feng Jing in his mind.

[But Host... The innocent demeanor really doesnʼt fit you at all!]

”Shut up!”

The others who were surrounding him had started teasing him the same way Bai Yuyan did. In the first place, the way the original Feng Jing treats the commoners is unlike how other noble sons and daughters do. He treats them kindly and is quite friendly as long they donʼt overstep their line.

”Lord Jing. Lord Jing, who is that masked man?”

”Someone, you know?”

”He looks so strong!”

”Is he your fiancé, Lord Jing?”

”What is his name?”

”Why is his face covered?”

”Is he a Sentinel?”

”What is his quantum beast?”

”How did you meet?”

”Lord Jing!”

”Lord Jin...”

”Lord...”

Feng Jing, ”Ei! He is my fiancé. His face is covered and I cannot tell you his name as he is on a mission. You can call him Lord Si. He is a Sentinel and his quantum beast is... Itʼs a huge snake!”

Choke!? Cough! Cough. Cough...

[Host. It really isnʼt a snake.]

”Shut up! Why did you leave with my husband!?” said Feng Jing in his mind. Their conversation remains in Feng Jingʼs thoughts as always.

[That... the Lord God says he doesnʼt need me there as he was only going to clarify things with the dean. He told me to watch over the host and inform him right away if thereʼs a problem. Iʼve left him a subsystem connected to mine though. He should be able to contact me any time.]

”I guess that is also fine. We arenʼt separated by long distances anyway. But during the competition, you are to stay around him even if he doesnʼt agree.”

[I understand, host.]

”By the way, is there something wrong with this team while I am not here?”

[Well Iʼve checked this worldʼs database, there doesnʼt seem to be anything weird going on. Well except for that Navi Nash and this spy, Xue Ran.]

”That brat is a spy? From whose side?”

[Let me check... EH? Host, you wonʼt believe this. This Xue Ran works for the Zerg Faction!]

”If itʼs the zergs then... Heʼs under that person. According to the originalʼs memories, that one is a humanoid Zerg. But it seems that the Zerg race also has factions in this world. Interesting!”

The moment Feng Jing mentioned Marshal Siriusʼs quantum beast as Snake, Feng Wu and Bai Yuyan choke on their own saliva in shock. I mean only their Lord Jing would dare to call the Marshalʼs Dragon King a snake.

Vega Solaris asked Bai Yuyan and Feng Wu worriedly after seeing them cough like that.

”AʼYu. AʼWu, are guys okay?” he asked.

Bai Yuyan, ”Cough. No problem.”

”I am... also fine,” replied Feng Wu.

ʼFor real!? To call Marshal Altairʼs King of all Dragons a snake. Only Jing had that guts.ʼ Thoughts of Bai Yuyan.

[Master, thatʼs normal. The Marshal wonʼt get angry. They are a pair after all. Asking the master to look for a partner for this poor beast. That black phoenix from the Feng Family called Hoku doesnʼt look bad~]

”You... Weʼve only met. It has only been two weeks at least. Stop playing around. Thatʼs the Feng Family we are talking about!”

[Master already knew what kind of family the Phoenix Clan is. As long as there is a love they wouldnʼt care whatever background you have. Master Jiayou!]

”Hmp! For now... Letʼs do our best to get an opportunity to join his brigade first.”

Hoku is the name of Feng Yangʼs quantum beast. A black phoenix with fire and darkness attributes. Stella asking himself to become Hokuʼs partner is telling his master, Bai Yuyan to choose Feng Yang as his paired Sentinel. Itʼs been a few weeks since Bai Yuyan visited the Feng Mansion with Feng Wu.

Bai Yuyan always came over almost every day to visit Feng Jing with Feng Wu. Feng Yang would always be there to welcome him. Tease him and spend time with him. Of course, the general didnʼt push him to the corner. He respected him and didnʼt force him in any way.

Clap. Clap!

Feng Jing spoke, ”Okay. The break is over. Letʼs restart training. For now, split into two groups. The lead is Feng Wu and the other is Bai Yuyan. Xue Ran your stay. I need to talk with you. Go, letʼs begin. This time you may use the third mode. Fight while seeing each otherʼs weakness.”

”Yes!”

Everyone had entered the mecha except for Feng Jing and Xue Ran. The two of them stood by the observation room watching the group fight within the training hall. Feng Jingʼs friendly smile faded as soon as only the two of them were alone.

Xue Ran instantly noticed the change of atmosphere around Feng Jing. His thoughts were in chaos thinking that things had gone wrong somewhere. He was tracing his hidden weapon with his uniform as he took a safe distance away from Feng Jing.

ʼSomething isnʼt right? His demeanor had completely changed. As if he wasnʼt that smiling person from before.ʼ Thoughts of Xue Ran while staring at Feng Jing with vigilant eyes. He could only feel detachment and iciness coming from the Young lord in front of him.

A cold tone of voice came from Feng Jing. It is a tone that wasnʼt heard from a supposedly innocent young man like Feng Jing.

”If you pulled that out then... I can only eliminate you on the spot,” said Feng Jing.

Xue Ran flinched as he noticed that the aura around the delicate-looking beautiful young man in front of him is a lot stronger than what he has. He was shocked as he thought Feng Jing was a failure who couldnʼt awaken at all.

Thoughts of Xue Ran, ʼWhat the hell is this!? Didnʼt they say he is a failure!? He is an unawakened one but... Where the fuck is this pressure coming from?ʼ

Xue Ran spoke, ”Y-Young Lord Feng. I am Xue Ran, a descendant from the Xue Family.”

”Is that really so? I really donʼt care much what you do as there are too many of your kind around me but... I wish to inform you that I also know the identity of the man you served with your other identity.” said Feng Jing as he just gave him an indifferent glance.

The words Feng Jing had spoken were thoroughly scary and left Xue Ran speechless. He was stepping back looking for a way to escape while trying to talk his way out.

Feng Jing, ”This training hall was gifted to me by Grandpa Astra. The whole authority within this all is under my full control. You wouldnʼt be able to leave as long I didnʼt allow you to nor you kill me. The second option seems to be taboo to you though.”

Xue Ran narrowed his eyes as he suddenly appeared behind Feng Jing placing a dagger near his neck.

”How can you be so sure that I cannot kill you?” said Xue Ran with an emotionless face and cold voice.

But Feng Jing remained silent and didnʼt even show any hint of fear within those crimson eyes as if it was soaked in the blood itself.

Heh~

Instead, he saw those phoenix-shaped eyes squinted in amusement paired with a mischievous smile on the corner of his lips, Xue Ran saw this two-faced young lord about to grab his dagger intending to slice off his own neck.

Xue Ran was incredibly frightened by the scene he imagined where Feng Jingʼs blood spurted from his neck like a fountain. Before the blade of his dagger reached Feng Jingʼs neck, he ignored the blade and grabbed it with his other free hand, stopping the latter from pushing the blade deeper into his neck.

The palm of his other hand was wounded quite badly and almost half of the blade imbued within his flesh. His blood flows out towards the blade of the dagger, almost dripping on Feng Jingʼs clothes. He moves away before his blood falls on Feng Jing. He moves away fast but not fast enough as a droplet of his blood flew and landed on Feng Jingʼs left cheeks.

A frown appeared on Xue Ranʼs face as he looked at Feng Jing with dubiety in his eyes.

”Are you crazy!?” exclaimed Xue Ran.

Feng Jing moves and faces him with a smile. ”As I have told you, you cannot kill me. After all, the one behind you would never forgive you if you do. Your mission after all is to protect me~”

Xue Ran felt chill in his body upon realizing that the innocent Feng Jing that the world knows is nothing but a facade and the one in front of him is the real Feng Jing and a dangerous person.

Shivers~

”Who the hell are you really?” asked Xue Ran.

Feng Jing ignored his question and said, ”If you know a way to inform him of something, can you pass my message. Altair Sirius is my mate. Tell him not to be too hard on him, please.

Okay, thatʼs a done part on my side. Treat your hands in the infirmary or something. While youʼre at it, grab that garbage (Navi Nash) on your way out. Join the training after you finish all that. You may go.”

He once again turned around to continue watching the battle at the hall. His back is wide open as if Xue Ran wasnʼt the person who had threatened him just now. Meanwhile, with bewilderment painted on his face, Xue Ran silently left the observation room, grabbed the unconscious Navi Nash, and left the training hall to get his hand treated.

Once Xue Ran left, System Yue materialized and a little glowing moon started hovering around Feng Jing.

[Host, is it alright to let him leave? Isnʼt it dangerous?]

”No worries. It would be more fun that way. Anyway, something is weird about this Feng Jingʼs role in this world. Go check it for me. I want not the latest world plot but the ones before the current one. Report to me later at night.”

[As you wish, Lord Hei!]

System Yue faded from the worldʼs surface and returned to his form as data. He infiltrates the worldʼs heavenly wills and looks through all the data this star possesses. It would definitely take a while before he finished his task.

Meanwhile, Feng Jing who was left behind murmured with a cold expression on his face, ”I truly wanted to take a break but seriously! Those bastards are making it harder for me to stay in every world. Since they already know that Iʼm alive, even low and mid-tier worlds would be full of bugs. How annoying~”

---

Somewhere within the Empire.

At a palace-like mansion under some great family. A man with long dark blue hair woke up from his sleep. He was lying on his huge bed laying face first as his sleeping posture. The sound of the alarm can be heard from his light brain and the person had no other choice but to wake up and turn off the ringing in his head.

CRING~...Cring!!

Once he opened his eyes, a pair of golden orbs could be seen. ”Urgh~ this world is really irritating. I donʼt even know which one the Lord God is in this world. Moreover, why do I have to become the male lead again!? I wonder who Mingʼer is in this world. He would definitely be beside a character that serves Lord Hei.

But I donʼt even know who Lord Hei is in this world. He wouldnʼt be the Protagonist Shou, right? If Lord Heiʼs vessel happens to be Bai Yuyan. Wouldnʼt the Lord God kill me!? Shit! Donʼt do this to me. Tsk! What a pain.

With this bodyʼs standing, I couldnʼt even openly check on the other characters of this world. I have to wait until the competition. Thatʼs two more weeks from now.”

Suddenly a holographic screen appeared in front of him, a video call request was being shown. Seeing this the man had to keep a straight face before accepting the call.

”What is it? Speak.”

{Marshal Janus had told me to inform the General to meet the marshal at 3 in the afternoon in his office.}

”Order received. Anything else?”

{It is reported that Marshal Altair is said to be dead but the federation elders are not believing it. They wanted the General to check the asteroid belt where theyʼve last traced Marshal Altairʼs location.}

”What happened to Feng Yang? Isnʼt he the one who works under Marshal Altair?”

{All members of the Phoenix Clan had requested for a vacation. This is because of the failed awakening as a guide by the youngest phoenix of their family.}

”That Clan is too family-oriented. Tell the elders I accept the task.”

{Understood. Have a nice day, Major General Drake.}

The call ended after that conversation.
