I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 283: 8.10 First Blue Star - Flare with Phoenix Crest

What happened to Marshal Siriusʼ side before falling into the territory of the Feng Clan.

A few days ago, before the accident. Marshal Sirius and his unit just got back from the mission and were intending to return to the Oberion Empire to report back to the Federation.

On their way back, Cielo, the dragon king quantum beast of the Marshal, was forcing his master to find the young man he saw in the video. For some unknown reason, Cielo is greatly attracted to the youngest phoenix of the Feng Family.

He was going to ignore his quantum beast request as he had no reasonable excuse to visit Feng Jing as they havenʼt officially met at all.

Cielo is currently biting his masterʼs head as he throws tantrums.

Whining~

Marshal Altair, ”Tsk! I told you! You can see him during the competition!”

Whining~

”What do you mean you canʼt wait that long? Do you miss him? Crazy! You havenʼt even met each other face to face!”

Whining!

”Ow! Stop that youʼre going to make me bald! Cielo!”

While this master and his quantum beast are having a spat, Xue Ying the Marshalʼs right-hand man comes running over with a pale face.

Xue Ying spoke, ”Marshal! Emergency! The news from home said that the Madam, your mother, had been poisoned!”

”Poisoned!? How did this happen!?” asked the Marshal.

Xue Ying replied, ”According to the people at home. The Madam had attended a banquet with the Dracos. She couldnʼt decline as the insignia is from the Janus Clan!”

”Those damn old bastards! Iʼm taking my leave. Prepare my personal mecha.”

”Marshal, let me accompany you!” said Xue Ying.

Marshal Sirius replied, ”No need! It would be faster to go there alone. Send me the coordinates. Iʼm leaving now!”

”Yes, Sir!” the soldiers inside the spacecraft saluted collectively.

The Marshal took his leave alone using his own mecha only to be ambushed on his way. When he couldnʼt connect to the star network nor contact his parents he knew that it was a trap. The news Xue Ying must have gotten were fakes which means there are traitors in his unit.

The numbers of assassins that surrounded him were almost 50 mechas. It is not even an ordinary mech but a customized one that only Sentinels whose rank ranges from B to S. Clearly, the mastermind of this charade wanted to take his life.

”Tsk! Their numbers are almost endless. After destroying a batch a new one would reinforce immediately. If this continues I would end up in a mania state before losing consciousness!”

The Marshal keeps fighting until he overuses his spirit just to kill off his pursuers only for the enemy to send another batch more. In his weakened state, he overloads his qi to escape from his enemies, this causes him to lose control over his spiritual realm. His over-exposure to qi made him enter a mania state. Before he loses consciousness he felt Cieli override the control of his mecha and flew in the direction which leads to the territory of the Phoenix Clan.

There he met the person who had been haunting his dreams ever since he saw him in that live stream at the star network.

---

The sudden visit from the royal family and the Altair family didnʼt cause much chaos in the house of Feng. First off, the two members of the royal family are half from the Fengs. Since the crown princess is the young miss of the phoenix family.

When Feng Yang got out of the door, Feng Yue happily jumped towards her big brother giving him kisses and hugs.

Feng Yue, ”Dage~ Yueʼer miss you ba~”

”Hm~ I miss you too, our little princess,” said Feng Yang as he hugs his sister back.

After a while, he also exchanges hugs with Zenith, this type of skinship is normal to those who were close to the Feng Family.

Feng Yang, ”Welcome Brother Zenith.”

”Hehe~ weʼre going to trouble AʼYang and the rest tonight,” said Zenith Regulus. He was totally not acting as a crown prince like he is supposed to be.

At this moment he is no more than a brother-in-law who had married the only prince of the Phoenix Family. Moreover, Zenith Regulus and Feng Yang were childhood friends. They were best friends together with Xue Ying.

”You are welcome anytime in this home, Brother Zenith,” said Feng Yang.

This interaction between royalty and the phoenix family is quite surprising. After all, the imperial family is from a different faction. But it seems that despite being the crowned prince, Zenith is closer to the Phoenix Clan instead of his own imperial family.

The Altair couple were silently observing the relationship between the Fengs and the Crown Princeʼs side. It seems that the rumors are true. Anyone who had married a member of the Phoenix Clan would be fully welcomed by the family as long as you are chosen by a direct family member of a phoenix.

Zenith Regulus, the unwanted prince of the Imperial Family but with the backing of the Feng Clan, was able to receive the title as the Crowned Prince. Sadly, on the day he was about to be entitled as the only crowned one among all the royal descendants, Zenith Regulus declined this title in front of the Emperor and the crown itself.

Saying things like ʼSince Iʼve married the only female phoenix princess of the Feng Family, everything this Zenith Regulus would do will prioritize my wife and her family first. I do not need the crown. Give it to anyone. I wouldnʼt get involved as long as my wife is not dragged to it. But if you really dare... Hehe~ this prince would show no mercy!ʼ said the crown prince.

This prince was considered crazy after that announcement but only those who dared to touch Feng Yue knows how cruel and savage this Zenith Regulus is. Creating his own source of power hidden from the eyes of the other royalty plus the solid backing of the immortal clan, the Phoenix Family, the emperor had no other choice but to choose Zenith as the heir to the throne.

By giving Zenith the title of the Crown Prince those who wanted to harm him and his side would be greatly lessened and this was something the Emperor did not to protect this savage son of his but to prevent his faction from completely being destroyed.

The title of the crown prince would stop those nobles from attacking the side of Regulus without a reason. They would first think of the crown before hitting him and this way it would handle this savage princeʼs cruelty and put a chain of restraints on him even for a short moment. The peace was made until now because of this decision.

After all, it is close to impossible to touch Zenith who had the full support of two Generals, one Major General that is backed by the Altair Family who possessed strength that equalized the Imperial power.

Seeing this now the Altair Couple finally realized what kind of crazy family the Phoenix Clan is. Who held the importance of family first above anything.

Feng Yang politely greets the couple, ”Greeting to the General and his wife. It would be our pleasure to be at your service. Please do inform this Yang why the Dragon Kingʼs couple had come to visit our humble home?”

Even though Feng Yang was speaking respectfully unlike the closeness he had shown towards the royal couple, the way he treated the Altair couple is business-like instead. Like meeting your boss whose face youʼve never seen until now.

Mrs. Altair Alya squinted her eyes as she observes the professional smile Feng Yang is wearing. Comparing it to the welcoming smile he had shown the Crown Prince, there is an obvious alienation between the two.

”My~ it is nothing much! We had just heard that the young phoenix had fallen into a predicament. We only... came over to see if... we could at least help~” said Mrs. Altair, she was clearly taunting them to reveal an inside secret.

Even putting to test the overprotectiveness the phoenix family has towards their own kin. As expected the moment Mrs. Altair finished asking such a straightforward question. The smile on Feng Yang and Feng Yue had faded. This time even the crown princeʼs gentle smile looks weird with his emerald gold irises emitting coldness that cannot be masked by his fake smile.

General Altairʼs thoughts, ʼThe loyalty and overprotectiveness of the Phoenix Clan towards their family members is truly magnificent. It was sold to the point they are willing to sacrifice anything to protect their members.

Plus the special bloodline effect of their origin. It was said that a phoenix could enter rebirth at every death. It was because of this that the Feng Clan is considered a half immortal family. They were able to come back from the dead at least three times. The purest the bloodline is the more chances of their rebirth could have.ʼ

Mrs. Altair Alyaʼs thoughts, ʼHm~ so the rumors about the Phoenix Familyʼs peculiarity on overprotectiveness is real. How relaxing would it be to know you have someone this loyal on your side? Better tease have that son of mine and make court Feng Jing, so the connection we have with the phoenix clan isnʼt merely by business and as families instead!ʼ

There is a long stillness in the air mixed with some tension as the Altair couple lightly step on the Feng Familyʼs landmine. It was at this time that the master of the house Feng Tian arrived and welcomed the guests with his wife. Of course, they overheard their conversation about Feng Jing.

The Feng Couple were smiling but obviously, it is fake and a hidden coldness can be felt from it.

”Please do not worry. Our Xiao Jing is better right now but isnʼt willing to STRANGERS as guests,” said Feng Tian.

Navi Luna, ”Our darling isnʼt feeling well and wouldnʼt be able to see the esteemed guests.” Her expression was smiley but the meaning of her words was obviously asking the Altair Couple to leave.

General Altairʼs thoughts, ʼSeriously~ these guys. Weʼve just lightly mentioned their youngest and they are already sending us away regardless of the difference in our familyʼs standing.ʼ

ʼAh~ how great would it be to have them on our side.ʼ thoughts of Altair Alya.

Seeing that theyʼve seen what they wanted to see, the Altair couple finally lowered their heads a bit and sincerely apologized.

”We would like to apologize to the Feng Family for intentionally asking about their youngest phoenix. We only wanted to see how the Feng Family would react. This... we sincerely apologize if we had offended the Phoenix Family.” said the Altair couple.

Hearing their explanation the tension between the families had faded. Knowing that the Altair Family isnʼt intentionally targeting their youngest. The cold smiles on Feng Tian and the rest had slowly disappeared.

Feng Tian said, ”Please do excuse our rudeness as well. This is the entrance, let us continue the conversation inside---”

BOOOOM!!!

Navi Luna exclaimed, ”Whatʼs that?!”

Before the Master of the house could welcome his guests to enter his house, they witnessed the dark sky be painted with red lights forming the insignia of Feng. They immediately knew that it was a flare all direct family memberʼs aides possessed.

Feng Yue, ”The flare of phoenix!?”

”There is only one person from our Feng that isnʼt here...” murmured Feng Yang.

”... !!!!!!...”

Then everyoneʼs eyes widened in shock. Theyʼve all called the name of that person whose face suddenly appeared in their minds.

”FENG JING!!!”
