I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 280: 8.7 First Blue Star - What is inside the Egg?

Peals of laughter resound within the whole mansion of the Feng Family. This is after their youngest had happily announced that he had laid such a huge egg out.

HAHAHAHAHA~~

It took a while for everyone to calm down after laughing at Feng Jing. Before Xue Xia and Navi Luna allowed the Sentinels of their family to meet the youngest, they sprayed a high purity mist perfume on Feng Jing.

Moreover, with the sudden awakening of Feng Jing, Feng Wu and Bai Yuyan were tasked to report to the dean about the situation. The Patriarch of the Feng Clan had asked for 3 daysʼ leave for his newly awakened grandson. This stabilized his awakening as a guide.

With this, the youngest of the phoenix family had no other choice but to stay at home.

After everyone had enough of laughing, they had to stop themselves from continuing doing so as the youngest had already started pouting. If they tease him more they would most likely end up getting ignored by this silly child.

Feng Xuan, ”Okay, okay... Xiao Jing Grandpa is no longer laughing. Look!”

Xue Xia, ”Xiao Yeye is wrong. Wonʼt laugh anymore,”

”Dad didnʼt laugh, darling~,” said Feng Tian.

”Mommy didnʼt mean to laugh darling. Mommy is sorry,” said Navi Luna.

Cough! Cough!

”Gege is wrong~ Xiao Jing, gege is at fault.” said Feng Yang.

The others also started coaxing Feng Jing who hugged his egg and faced his back on them. They had to say a few more words before the child turned around to look at them. His mouth was closed like a duck and obviously pouting still.

Cough!

”Xiao Jing, can Grandpa see your egg?” asked Feng Xuan.

Xue Xia spoke, ”Darling, grandpas have to check what kind of quantum beast would hatch from your egg. Can you let us see the egg?”

Feng Jing wanders his eyes on them for a bit then nods his head. He carried the big egg like it was weightless and placed it on the carpet near his family. But he still sat near his egg as if guarding it.

Meanwhile, in his mind System, Yue had been laughing too much since before that he is now hyperventilating. He never expected his cold-hearted host would act so silly like that for the sake of his mission this time.

[Hahaha....heheheh...hihihihi...cough. Cough. Hah~ pfft! Hahaha...]

”Tsk! Just die!” said Feng Jing in his head. He almost materialized in that system space and kicked this bastard who was laughing his ass out and buried it alive.

”Enough.” An icy voice echoes in the system space.

[Yes! Iʼm sorry!]

”Tsk! Go look for my husband and the other two.”

[Okay, Host. I havenʼt found the Lord God and Warden Lou but Prisoner Yun had already appeared. He is your aide in this world, Feng Wu.]

”No wonder that Feng Wu reacted like that. Send him a message to meet me.”

[Yes, Host.]

Back to reality,

Almost all of the adults were circling the egg of Feng Jing. The round egg is not ordinary. Its color is a gradient of red-orange and deep crimson with black and white snowflakes pattern. Thereʼs also a golden crown on the top of the egg signifying its king bloodline.

”Hmm~ this shade of color is definitely the same as this old manʼs egg from before. Iʼm sure that the one inside definitely has a strong phoenix bloodline seeing that the overall color of the egg is a shade of red,” murmured Feng Xuan.

Xue Xia happily exclaims when he sees the snowflakes pattern on the egg, ”Snowflakes!? My bloodline is obvious as well. Is this a flame and ice?”

”Dad, some of the snowflakes are pitch black in color, donʼt tell me?” said Feng Tian as he pointed out the side of an egg with black-colored snowflakes.

Navi Luna grasps her hand in joy seeing that her youngest had also taken in her bloodline.

”It is my bloodline!” she exclaims as Navi Luna looks excitedly at her husband.

Feng Tian nodded his head with a small smile on his face when his wife was looking at him.

Feng Yang, ”But itʼs this egg too big for a phoenix? When mine and Fatherʼs egg were awakened the size was only half of this one. Not only that, this crown on the top is familiar as well. I think Iʼve seen it on a book before~”

Everyone also felt that the crown on the egg is familiar as well. While they were thinking about it, they heard the sounds of flipping paper and saw Feng Jing checking a quantum beast encyclopedia to check the similarities of his eggs to the others that itʼs already well known.

This special book is from the Royal Library and was sent to Feng Jing by his sister and brother-in-law after knowing that he would be awakening.

Feng Jing murmurs, ”Crowned egg. Crowned egg. Found it! Eh, what is this? A fallen god bloodline. The purest and noblest bloodline of dragons. It is rare and can only be seen once in a millennium.

Dragon? But Xiao Jing is a phoenix though?”

While there is confusion on Feng Jingʼs face after reading the book his family had a different reaction. They borrowed the book his brother Zenith had sent to him and observed the description of the book and the egg like a crazy madman.

Feng Xuan even started trembling in excitement and amazement.

”T-This... How can this be possible!?” exclaimed Feng Xuan.

Xue Xia acted differently and remembered his daughter-in-lawʼs bloodline rumors that they also had dragon blood on them but none of Naviʼs generation has fully awakened this bloodline. Most of their quantum beasts were all snakes that didnʼt even trigger the hidden dragon bloodline in Naviʼs genes.

”Luna, didnʼt your Navi clan is said to possess a dragon bloodline?” asked Xue Xia.

Navi Luna suddenly received countless pairs of eyes on her.

”Y-Yes there is. Itʼs just that itʼs been a long time since someone triggered the dragon bloodline and because of it our quantum beast all remained as snake type instead,” said Navi Luna.

Feng Tian, ”Did our son trigger that old bloodline as well? Is this why his egg is this big?”

Feng Yang murmurs, ”A unique Phoenix Dragon Hybrid?”

Gasped!

Everyone gasped when they learned about this and watched their innocent youngest walking around in a circle rubbing his egg with his cheeks. Feng Jing placed his ears near the egg as if listening to something. To everyoneʼs eyes, he looks so excited as a child that could wait for his playmate to be born.

Feng Yang, ”I canʼt be correct right?”

Silence~

Now everyone thinks that their youngest quantum beast when its hatch will be one of the most unique quantum beasts in the whole Oberion Empire.

A Phoenix with a dragon Kingʼs bloodline.

Because of this, the Feng Clan decided to hide this news about their youngest quantum beast and decided to spread a piece of false news that Feng Jing fails to awaken as a guide and become an ordinary person instead.

Feng Xuan spoke, ”Inform those who are in this mansion today to keep Xiao Jingʼs awakening a secret. Let those from outside the family sign a sealing order!”

”Yes, Patriarch!”

The next day the phoenix family had once again called Bai Yuyan to come to the Feng Mansion and he was told to sign a sealing order and give an oath of promise.

Quantum Beast, Stella, and Bai Yuyanʼs conversation in their mind.

[Master just agrees. If you donʼt... Iʼm afraid that the Feng Clan is going to kill you.]

”Tsk! I know that. I was just wondering why there is acting like this? Did that silky Feng Jingʼs awakening have some scruples?” asked Bai Yuyan.

[Iʼve checked. There is no problem with Feng Jingʼs awakening but... His egg hasnʼt hatched yet.]

”So there is no problem?”

[There is no problem with the egg. Itʼs just that its size is way too big to be just a mere phoenix.]

”Now I see what is wrong,” murmured Bai Yuyan.

In reality, he signed the sealing order and spoke the words of oath to promise not to say a thing about Feng Jingʼs awakening being successful. In exchange, the Feng Clan was willing to sponsor the child until he had chosen a brigade to join with.

Seeing that this young man called Bai Yuyan is accepting all the selfishness the Feng Clan is forcing on him. Feng Yang decided to accept this child into his brigade if the child wanted to.

Feng Yang, ”Thank you for your acceptance of our circumstances, Student Bai.”

”There is no problem at all, Major General Feng. This Bai Yuyan had nothing against Student Feng and wouldnʼt do anything to harm him at all.” said Bai Yuyan.

”Your words are enough. If there are problems you couldnʼt solve in the future our Feng Clan is willing to help you at that time. At least this Feng Yang promised to do so.

If you wanted to join my Phoenix Brigade in the future. This Feng Yang is welcoming you.”

”This... Let me think about it. I promise to keep the word on my side. I should get going and return to the academy.”

Feng Yang asked, ”Do you not wish to visit Xiao Jing?”

”I can... visit him.”

”Of course! We are only forbidding you from telling others of his awakening but as his friend, itʼs normal for you to visit Xiao Jing any time you want,” said Feng Yang with a friendly smile.

Bai Yuyan unconsciously blushes at this sight and immediately averted his eyes, no longer meeting Feng Yangʼs eyes.

[Master your heart is beating fast. Are you sick?]

”N-No. Just shut up,” replied Bai Yuyan in his mind.

Bai Yuyan with Feng Yang leading him had reached Feng Jingʼs room unhindered but unlike with Feng Wu who needs a key to enter the room, Feng Yang just needs his fingerprints to be recognized at the door and it would unlock on its own.

Feng Yang entered the room followed by Bai Yuyan.

”Xiao Jing, Student Bai came over for a visit.”

”Gege? AʼYu came over!?” Feng Jing runs over and grabs Bai Yuyanʼs hand and pulls him over. ”AʼYu, good timing I will show you my egg. AʼWu says my egg is quite beautiful.”

Bai Yuyan was surprised by a huge egg towering over him. It seems that with just a nightʼs sleep the size of the egg had increased.

”Why is it so big!? Are you sure this is an egg!?” said Bai Yuyan in shock.

Feng Jing spoke, ”Wasnʼt this big yesterday? It was only half my size before. When I woke up this morning it was like this.”

Suddenly the egg started wiggling bit by bit which scared Bai Yuyan and at the same time made him think itʼs interesting.

His eyes glow interestedly, ”Wow~ itʼs moving,” murmurs Bai Yuyan.

Feng Jing, ”AʼYu can visit me any time but... I wonʼt be able to join the training until my egg hatches...” his head is lowered in regret.

”Donʼt worry about it. The news about you not failing to awaken had spread already but I and Senior Wu donʼt mind. Though the first three sentinel students who were supposed to join us had declined, Senior Wu and I promised to look for some members before the competition.” said Bai Yuyan with a smile.

”Then since I cannot join the training yet I will give you this instead,” said Feng Jing as he opened his communication device to send a small program he made last night. ”Train with this program I made. It had three modes: Mapping, Synchronisation Link, and Pinpoint weakness.

The mapping would automatically load the searched data for the terrains within 100 kilometers radius. At each new location, it would collect and auto upgrade itself as long as you keep it activated.

Pinpoint Weakness is useful at any being. It would calculate the overall information of the target/s as long it is on sight. It can be filtered by at least 5 and at most 10 all at the same time.

The first two-mode Iʼve mentioned. Only used star network as a source. Iʼve already made a domain within it and there would definitely be no traffic when used

As for the last mode, you should try it when youʼre riding a mecha. With both your and AʼWuʼs physique, there should be no problem controlling a mecha right? You would be surprised to see its usefulness when you try it yourself.” says Feng Jing as if he hadnʼt made a master level and gave it away like that.

His innocent smile is in contrast to how heavenly defying the program he introduces just now. Clearly, these kinds of high-level programs are restricted within the military only. But this silly one in front of them just made one like simply digging a cabbage in his own garden as if itʼs a common thing.
