I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 286: 8.13 First Blue Star - Awake

It took another three days before Feng Jing woke up from his slumbering rest. When Feng Jingʼs crimson eyes were revealed for the world to see, he saw that no one was inside the room with him and even his husbandʼs figure was missing.

When he thought that his husband in this world doesnʼt have memories and that he was abandoned. Tears just stroll down on his cheeks as he wears an emotionless expression on his face.

Feng Jing mumbled, ”He left ha?”

[No, Host he didn---]

The sound of the door opening was heard and someone talking with another can be heard, the figure of Marshal Sirius talking to his right-hand man, Xue Ying.

Marshal Sirius was talking, ”I will be leaving the unit in your care for a while. At least until the competition.”

{Understood, Marshal...}

”Why are you no longer talking? Xue Ying...”

{Marshal behind you.}

”Behind?”

When Marshal Sirius turned around he saw an expressionless Feng Jing looking at him with dull eyes, traces of tears were still visible on his cheeks. He was just standing behind him without saying any words. Just staring at him.

They stared at each other without talking but one could see each otherʼs longing from the eyes of each other.

Feng Jing tried talking but what came out of his mouth was almost a soundless, hoarse voice.

”Urm~” He could only reach out and ask the other person to hug him.

The marshal doesnʼt need to hear a word to understand what Feng Jing wanted. He immediately stretches his hands to carry Feng Jing preciously in his embrace.

Carrying him in his arms, Sirius gently wipes the tears strolling down Feng Jingʼs face.

”Donʼt cry. Iʼm here. I didnʼt leave.” whispered softly by Sirius as he kissed Feng Jingʼs forehead.

Feng Jing rubbed his cheeks with Sirius as he hugged his neck.

”Hmm~”

”Sorry. Next time I will make the call inside the room. So when you wake up, youʼll see me as soon as you open your eyes. Donʼt be afraid, Jingʼer Iʼm here.”

”Un~”

The marshal continues to coax Feng Jing and cut off the call he has with Xue Ying.

Meanwhile in the outer space, on the Fallen God Unitʼs spaceship, Xue Ying, who not only got cut off one-sidedly during the call but also got to do all the work for his boss until he returns, could help but cry about unfairness.

Xue Ying murmur, ”A sentinel with a guide is different from an unpaired sentinel after all~”

Back in the Feng Mansion.

Marshal Sirius carried back Feng Jing to the bed but since the latter wasnʼt willing to let him go, he could only enter the bed with him. He sat on the bed with Feng Jing sitting on him sideways. He even helped him drink water to moisten his throat.

There is a bit of silence between the two as none was willing to start a conversation. This quietness lasted until the Marshal began asking questions.

”Jingʼer... Do you know who I am?” asked Marshal Sirius.

Feng Jing replies monotonously like, ”The youngest Marshal in the Federation. Quantum Beast is the Dragon King. Leader of the Fallen God Unit. The heir of Altair Family and my big brotherʼs boss.”

The marshal responded, ”Jingʼer you know that is not what I am asking.”

”...”

”Okay letʼs talk again after eating.” said the marshal.

The two ate at Feng Jingʼs chambers. Because the rest of the people in the mansion had gone to work only Sirius and some morning servants were in the mansion. They eat breakfast at the dining hall in the mansion, but there is nothing but silence between them.

Feng Jing continued to avoid the Marshalʼs stares and was acting that he could see him at all.

In his mind he is having a conversation with System Yue.

”Yue, tell me what happened after I fell asleep?”

[The ones pursuing the Marshal had arrived but they werenʼt too many and the Marshalʼs quantum beast had defeated them all under his orders.

The Feng family and Altair couple decided to engage you both but were waiting for you to wake up to formalize the engagement.

The Marshal stayed in the Feng Household until the competition at the end of this month. They all decided to let the mastermind of this farce come out himself during the competition.]

”So you are saying that he wouldnʼt have stayed if not because of their plan to pull out the mastermind?”

[Thatʼs not it, Host. The Marshal had always been by your side since that night youʼve fainted. Only goes out of the bedroom whenever he takes the all afraid that he would disturb your rest. He eats and sleeps in the same room. The farthest place he had reached was the living room.]

”Is that so? Yue since this is a Futuristic world it should be allowed to use your identity as a system as my temporary independent AI. One with own intelligence. That way you would also be able to assist my amnesiac husband in this world.”

[Hehehe~ That sounds interesting. I agree, Host!]

Feng Jing, ”Good. Iʼll make up a situation that will allow that to happen.”

The conversation between Feng Jing and his system took a while and the Marshal thought he had offended his guide when he asked questions just like he was interrogating Feng Jing. He also thought that Feng Jing was intentionally ignoring him because he was angry.

Marshal Sirius reaches out his hands to gently caress Feng Jingʼs cheek as if coaxing him. This familiar gesture startled Feng Jing only for a moment before looking at the man in front of him.

”Jingʼer, Iʼm sorry. I wonʼt ask you that question anymore. Please donʼt ignore me. Iʼm wrong.” said Sirius.

Feng Jing upon hearing this explanation smiled and rubbed his cheeks in that manʼs huge hands like a cat.

”I am not ignoring you. I was just checking a few surveillance videos left by my light brain when I was unconscious,” said Feng Jing.

The Marshal was startled when he heard about a light brain leaving recordings for an unconscious person.

”Really? Thatʼs possible?” asked Sirius.

Feng Jing smiled, ”Of course! Unless one is brain dead, the activity of the brain is 24/7. But you need to build a catalyst that will continue to follow commands while you are unconscious. Mine is this one.”

He had asked his System Yue to materialize in his avatar form. A fist-sized glowing moon appeared in thin air.

”Introduce yourself, Yue,” said Feng Jing.

A holographic screen appeared above the little moon which shows its thoughts. This is to disguise himself as an ordinary AI in this world.

[It is a pleasure to meet you, Marshal Sirius. I am System Yue. Lord Jingʼs little AI.]

The Marshal had reached out to grab the little moon in Feng Jingʼs hands, feeling the solid and cold texture of the object in his hands made him realize that this system thing is real.

”Itʼs real but where did it come from? From your inventory?” asked Sirius.

Feng Jing answered, ”No. He is always with me in invisible and undetected mode. Unless he deactivates those modes it is almost impossible to locate him much less to notice him. It was also him who helped me gather information about the marshal that night. So I already know who you are.”

”Invisibility mode plus an attribute to avoid detection. It seems to possess its own intelligence and could gather and surveil information at all times. Does this run by electricity?” asked Sirius.

”No. As long as I exist in this world, It would as well~” said Feng Jing with a smile. ”I will lend him to you. With Yueʼs help, you could do almost everything others could do in this world.”

”...Jingʼer, this... did you make this?” asked Sirius, thereʼs an obvious worry within those obsidian eyes staring at Feng Jing.

Feng Jing answered, ”No. I was born with it. But my family didnʼt know about its existence. Iʼm only telling you because you are my future another half.” a smile appeared on his face.

Seeing this kind of expression on Feng Jingʼs face made Altair Siriusʼs heartbeats beyond his control. The Marshal knew that the attraction he has with Feng Jing is not that of love. It was because they are a fated pair, the resonance of their souls was the most compatible. It was comfortable and healing.

But right now, Sirius doesnʼt know what it is anymore. Every expression Feng Jing possesses can cause a different reaction from him.

When he saw Feng Jing cry, he felt pain.

When he saw him hurt, he felt regret and guilt.

When he saw him sad, he could feel something stabbing his heart directly.

When he saw him afraid, he couldnʼt help but pull him in his tightest embrace to comfort him.

When he smiles, he becomes the happiest person in the world.

Yes, as if Feng Jing is his whole world.

The Marshal approached Feng Jing and kneel on one knee before him. He held his hands and piously kissed Feng Jingʼs fingers and the back of his hand.

”Jingʼer I promise to protect and love you my whole life. I will give you whatever you want. Keep you happy at all times. I will make you the happiest person in this star. Are you willing to become my mate?” asked Marshal Sirius.

The maids and servants on standby at the corner all gasped in surprise. After all, the one kneeling in front of their young master is no other than the strongest person in the Oberion Empire.

The Male God is adored and respected by almost everyone in the Empire. The strongest Sentinel with the bloodline of a purest Dragon King. He is the guardian and the pillar of the Oberion Empire

But at this moment, this amazing person in the legend is on his knees asking Feng Jing for his lifetime. Becoming his mate means they would become a true fated pair with 100 percent compatibility like in the legend. The two of them would become a true dragon and phoenix pair in the myth.

Feng Jing asked, ”Are you sure? You know nothing about me. You donʼt know what my personality is or whether what kind of feelings I have for you. Moreover, I am still underage and not yet old enough to be able to marry.”

”I am sure. Even though I donʼt know anything I knew in my heart that I would be able to love you. I do not care what personality you have as I like you as you are. As for feelings I... Iʼm sure I will have it as long as you stay by my side. Jingʼer, what is your answer?” asked Sirius.

Feng Jing replies, ”At my age, it is impossible to get married but I guess we can get engaged first. But if you hurt me I would ask my family to annul it okay?”

Altair Sirius smiled and kissed Feng Jing on his forehead, ”Okay. I will wait for you to grow up.” said the Marshal.

Feng Jing smiled back knowing that his husband in this world might not have his usual memories but unlike in the last world which they had some misunderstandings to the point that his death was ordered by the latter.

At least in this world, they were not complete strangers as he was someone that can be called Siriusʼs savior given the circumstances that happened when they first met.
