I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 287: 8.14 First Blue Star - Mastermind

At nightfall, the whole Feng Family and the Altair couple learned that Feng Jing had woken up and had gathered for a feast. They were all delighted with seeing Feng Jing awake.

During the feast, at the dining hall in the Feng Mansion.

Xue Xia asked, ”My little darling, are you hurting somewhere? Tell Xiao Yeye if you are.”

Navi Luna, ”Darling, mommy prepared some nourishing soup for you. Drink a lot okay?”

”Jing Darling~ aunt had bought you some cakes for desserts. You can have it after dinner,” said Mrs. Altair.

Feng Jing, ”Xiao Yeye, Mom, Xiao Jing is okay? I wanted to ask if AʼYu and AʼWu were okay? They were with me that day after all. Aunt, thank you for the present.” he said.

”Donʼt worry about them. They woke up as soon as they were treated. The two of them were able to go to the academy the next day without any problems. Xiao Jing can meet them tomorrow. Yuyan and Wu would always visit you after school.” said Feng Jing.

”I see. Thatʼs better. Please donʼt worry about me anymore. I am really fine. It was just that it was a bit hard for me to hold back my strength which is why Sirius is with me to help me control it.” said Feng Jing who was sitting beside Altair Sirius who was spoon-feeding him.

Everyone else was confused by his words and only understood when they saw Feng Jing grab a spoon on the table and soon become a twisted metal of undefined shape. They only saw the child hold the spoon lightly only for it to be distorted by some unknown power.

Feng Jing pouted when he saw the spoon he tried to hold on his hand gently. He was thinking that he couldnʼt eat what he wanted with how things are going right now.

In his mind, ”Yue! How to control this strength?! I canʼt even eat on my own!”

[Host, donʼt worry there is a way. You can convert that power into your spirit qi and use it to hatch your egg. But for this problem you need your husbandʼs help for it to succeed.]

”Thatʼs even better then. I will tell him to help me. After calming down these elders.”

Everyone except Sirius was looking at the distorted spoon Feng Jing had ignored on the table.

Feng Tian, ”This kind of strength? Did Xiao Jingʼs overall potential improve after all?”

”But this doesnʼt look like a normal upgrade but... The same as Sirius a few years ago,” said Altair Reeva.

Feng Xuan, ”Xiao Jing, come with grandpa after eating and test your overall potential. You can only eat cake after that.”

”Un~ Xiao Jing agrees,” said Feng Jing.

Altair Sirius, ”Letʼs stop talking and focus on the dinner first, please.”

”Okay! Feed me more!” said Feng Jing with a smile.

The Marshal also smiled at him which is enough to give those who knew that this cold-hearted Marshal really doesnʼt smile at all except towards Feng Jing. Seeing his smile is making them feel a chill down to their spine. Thatʼs how rare and creepy the marshal smile is for them.

After dinner, everyone gathered in the testing facilities. This facility had enough testing machines that measure someoneʼs potential over physique and spirit.

[Host please control your spirit qi properly. If you used your real strength not only these types of machinery would explode but your house as well.]

He replied with his thoughts, ”How much did my husband do to be accepted as above SSS potential.”

[He just made the machines malfunction, afterwards it exploded. Host, just give it a little touch. A poke will be enough!]

”Poke? Just a poke okay!”

[Sigh~ why is it that this system feels that it would still be too overwhelming with just a poke?]

Feng Xuan, ”Xiao Jing. Go get remeasure your potential.”

Feng Jing nods his head as he asked Altair Sirius who was carrying him all the way put him down for a moment.

”I will leave their protection to you, please,” says Feng Jing with a smile.

Marshal Sirius kissed his cheeks as he stared at him with an affectionate gaze, ”Donʼt worry about anyone else. I will protect them for you.”

Feng Jing nodded before running like a child towards the testing machines that will measure his potential. With Dean Astra in lead, a few more doctors and scientists were following behind him. These were all loyal people who made an oath to the Feng Family.

”Itʼs good to see our little darling awake. Are you uncomfortable somewhere, dear?” asked Dean Astra.

”Nothing is uncomfortable, Grandpa Astra!” answered Feng Jing.

”Good. Good. Grandpa had a feeling that the machines might explode like when Marshal Sirius did it a few years ago so Grandpa and the others can only watch from far. Grandpa will remotely activate the machine afterward Xiao Jing can start using the machines.” explained Dean Astra.

Feng Jing responded, ”Xiao Jing understands, Grandpa Astra.”

”Okay, start,” said Dean Astra.

Feng Jing did as he was told. He first went to the machine which tests oneʼs physique. He pokes a finger on the measuring machine. It was just a light poke and it exploded as everyone expected.

POKE~

BAAANNG!!!

It wasnʼt an explosion where everything flew away in fragments but an explosion that turned the machine to dust. With every poke of Feng Jingʼs fingers, every machine he had touched exploded to dust. Seeing this, no one reacted right away and stared at Feng Jing like he was some kind of monster.

Whatʼs worse is that the person itself. Looked back at them with an innocent gaze and said, ”Xiao Jing didnʼt do anything yet! I just poke it lightly. Lightly! Then it turned to dust. Grandpa, did you buy a fake one?”

”U-Un... G-Grandpa may have bought... A f-fake one.” said Feng Xuan while stuttering.

Everyone else was astonished by what they had witnessed just now. What Feng Jin didnʼt know is that before he was called to measure his potential the others had already tried the testing machines first. So there is no way that the machines are fake much less the explosion is a cause of a defect. They were frightened that they were speechless for a long time.

This could only mean that Feng Jingʼs potential is beyond normal, that the machines even turned to dust due to his overwhelming power. While everyone is stunned only Marshal Sirius reacted normally as he had expected such a result already. He walked towards Feng Jing after rescinding the barrier he placed to the others and carried the young one back to his arms.

Marshal Sirius, ”Since everything is finished, letʼs go eat the cakes mom bought for you.”

”Okay~ but tonight you must help me hatch my egg!” said Feng Jing.

”I will help you hatch the egg. Take a break for now?”

”Sure~ letʼs go back to the room.”

The couple had a conversation even ignoring the countless shocked expressions of the people in the testing facilities. Only when theyʼve left do the adults inside the place snap out of shock and check the vicinity where the machines are supposed to exist. In place of those huge machines from before is now a small hill of ashes from an unknown material.

Dean Astra, ”This... The machines were compressed to this extent that even if it exploded every part if it turns to dust instead of broken fragments.”

Feng Xuan spoke, ”Compression? You mean they Xiao Jing had held back his strength only enough to cause changes into those machines!?”

Dean Astra explains, ”Must be. Else if he didnʼt precisely take control of it, this whole mansion itself, not only this laboratory would be destroyed. Dage, the strength Xiao Jing possessed is already beyond ordinary. Iʼm afraid if someone knows then...”

The Feng Patriarch had also thought of this and his complexion changed a few times. He then looked at the men in white coats behind Astra and commanded, ”This matter cannot be leaked out!”

Everyone nodded in promise as they all saluted at the old leader of the Phoenix Clan.

Xue Xia, ”Thankfully all we were allowed to join in this test are family members. Or Iʼm afraid we had to command deaths for those who are not.”

Altair Reeva, ”Though we had already expected this result, it was still a bit too much to accept. After all, Xiao Jing is a guide, not a sentinel.”

”Indeed. This is the first time Iʼve seen a guide whose strength is enough to match the potential of the strongest sentinel,” said Feng Tian.

”No wonder that they are the fated pair,” murmured Feng Yang.

Mrs. Altair, ”Since this is the case. Letʼs arrange their engagement ahead of time. Luna, letʼs create a plan for it together.”

”Sure, after the engagement we also need to plan about their future marriage,” said Navi Luna.

These two mothers were already planning the marriage of Feng Jing Altair Sirius without the couple knowing. Right now, this young couple had returned to their room to enjoy the cakes Mrs. Altair had bought for Feng Jing.

Meanwhile somewhere in Oberion Empire.

Within some luxurious office of someone with high authority. This office is quite large, every decoration is made from fine and expensive materials. Even the simple-looking couches in the room cost millions each. Some of the decorations were made of gold and no one could easily assess its worth.

A man wearing a marshal uniform is looking at the reports about Altair Sirius with a stern expression on his face. This person looks like a handsome uncle with a strict nature. The wrinkles on his face made him look more mature and experienced. He looks like someone from the same generation as Feng Xuan and Xue Xia.

This person is Marshal Janus. The mastermind behind the assassination attempt on Marshal Altair. His hair is long and grey but his eyes were blue in color. No one would be able to deny that he is a person with appearance and fame.

The report heʼs reading is about Marshal Altairʼs assassination report.

Marshal Janus murmured, ”Reported dead. Location in outer space near the Oberion Empireʼs hemisphere. But the last location the last reinforcement had disappeared to is within the empire. This could only mean that the brat is still alive. Tsk! This young king is harder to chew than that old Feng.”

He tapped on his light brain and issued another secret order.

{Marshal, what are your commands?}

”Continue to look for the traces of Marshal Altair. Trend carefully in the empire, even if the death and life of Sirius are unknown the old dragon is still a dragon.”

{Should we tail the movements of General Altair Reeva?}

”Tail every member connected to the Fallen God Unit including the members of the Altair Family.”

{How about the Phoenix Family, sir?}

”No. Not them. The moment theyʼve lost Feng Xuan to lead the clan theyʼve lost their original strength as they used to be. Even if they are under the Fallen God Unit, that is because they are seeking protection.

Lately, the Altair Couple is visiting the Feng Clan, they might be talking about leaving their protection after the death of Sirius had been spread.”

{... Affirmative...}

Then the connection was cut off between the two. Marshal Janus squeezed the space in between his eyes to ease the throbbing of his head. In a while, his eyes wander on the picture of four young men on his table.

One is the young man beside him is a young man with azure hair paired with emerald irises. A delicate beauty with a gentle temperament. Marshal Janusʼs eyes soften as he stares at this person. Clearly, this young man is someone he is intimate with. A lover or such.

While the other two people look familiar as well. A young man with crimson hair and eyes was smiling as his arms were hanging on the young Janus and another young man with white hair. These guys were a teenage version of Feng Xuan and Xue Xia.

Marshal Janus stares at the photo with longing and reminisces. This was the moment he was the happiest in his whole life.

”If that didnʼt happen the relationship between the four of us wouldnʼt have come to this point. But right now I need an authority that could lead the whole federation, only by doing so I would be able to meet him once more. To achieve that I am willing to sacrifice everything to reach my goal. Even the children of this current generation.” Marshal Janus murmured.
