The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 298: Chapter 300 【300】Driven Crazy by You 1

”What are you doing!?” Xiaonuan looked at the approaching man in a panic and gritted her teeth, cursing, ”Nangong Yaoling, you... you’re crazy!”

”Damn right I’m crazy! You’re driving me fucking insane!”

Nangong Yaoling gripped her chin tightly, his burning gaze fixed on her, and said through gritted teeth, ”Xia Xiaonuan, just see if I don’t kill you today!”

With that, Nangong Yaoling roughly tore her clothes...

Xia Mansion.

Xia Xinmei sat in her room, looking at everything in front of her.

Her gaze fell on the photo frame on the bedside table.

It was a picture of her and Xia Xiaonuan, taken when they were in their teens, still in middle school. The background was an amusement park.

Xia Xiaonuan at that time had two pigtails and was wearing a princess dress, clearly a little princess pampered by everyone.

And she, beside her, wore a simple T-shirt and jeans, her hairstyle like a tomboy’s.

From a young age, their mother had told her that their father always wanted a son, so her dressing was always casual and androgynous.

But Xia Xiaonuan was always exquisite and sweet.

She actually believed her mother’s words, thinking that she, like Xia Xiaonuan, had their parents’ love.

Therefore, she loved her younger sister even more, treating her like a treasure.

It wasn’t until later that she realized things weren’t like that...

Xia Xinmei picked up the picture frame.

There was some dust on the frame, and she vaguely remembered that Xia Xiaonuan’s room was always spotless when she visited.

Even when Xia Xiaonuan was not at home, their mother would send the servants to clean her room every day.

But she...

If she wasn’t home, almost no one would care, right?

Xia Xinmei let out a cold smile.

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

Xia Xinmei’s eyebrows twitched, and she quickly put the photo back in place and lay down on the bed.

”Come in...”

It was Yun who came in.

Yun was holding a bowl of bird’s nest soup and placed it in front of Xia Xinmei. ”Xin’er, this is the blood bird’s nest I just made for you...”

”Yun!” Xia Xinmei stared at the bowl of bird’s nest soup, then looked up at Yun, her eyes flickering towards the closed door. ”Don’t call me that when we’re at home!”

A trace of pain flashed across Yun’s eyes, and she quickly apologized, ”I... I understand, Miss...”

Xia Xinmei’s sharp gaze swept over Yun.

Her tone softened slightly as she asked, ”How... have you been recently?”

”Good! I’m very good.” Yun’s eyes welled up with emotion. ”It’s just... I missed you so much... For more than a year, you didn’t even give me a call... You aren’t still hung up on the Young Master, are you...”

”Stop talking.” Xia Xinmei closed her eyes slightly, and when she opened them again, there was a chilling coldness in them:

”That person has nothing to do with me anymore! If anything, it’s only hatred. Also, tell me, why did Xia Xiaonuan lose her memory? Do you have anything to do with it?”

Yun wrung her hands, a flash of panic in her eyes. ”I...”

”How many times have I told you!” Xia Xinmei sat up, glaring at Yun. ”Don’t act rashly! Do you know what will happen if Nangong Yaoling finds out about this?!”

Yun quickly shook her head. ”No... he won’t! The Young Master doesn’t know! Don’t worry, I didn’t leave any evidence... I just... I just missed you so much, and I didn’t want to see you so wronged...”
