The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 282: Chapter 284 [284] Xia Xiaonuan, You’re Ruthless 1

When Xia Xiaonuan returned to the bedroom, she decided to take off the blanket directly, without even bothering to remove her clothes, and rushed into the bathroom to completely wash away the traces left by the man.

She vaguely heard the sound of the door opening, and Xia Xiaonuan immediately became alert. She just saw the bathroom door being twisted.

But the door didn’t open.

Xia Xiaonuan snorted coldly. Did he really think she was so silly as to not lock the door?

”Wifey, it was my fault just now. Give me a chance to make amends!” The man outside said brazenly.

”...” Like hell she would believe he genuinely wanted to make amends; it would be a miracle if he didn’t torment her!

Sure enough: ...

”Wifey, open the door. Let me come in and scrub your back!” The seemingly sincere voice came from outside again.

”...” Xia Xiaonuan’s mouth twitched.

”What are you afraid of? Don’t be shy. It’s not like we haven’t showered together before.” Nangong Yaoling said outside, undeterred.

”Get lost—!” Finally, inside came a rough voice.

Nangong Yaoling: ...

”Wifey, then I’ll get busy. Wash well, and call me if you need anything, okay?”

Xia Xiaonuan held back the urge to rush out and strangle the man outside with a towel!

Soon, Nangong Yaoling’s footsteps left.

Xia Xiaonuan let out a breath of relief.

When Xia Xiaonuan finished her shower and came out, the bedroom was empty, with no trace of Nangong Yaoling.

Not wanting to bother with him, Xia Xiaonuan wiped herself down, changed into pajamas, and climbed into bed alone.

But for a while, there was still no sound from outside.

What’s that guy up to?

Xia Xiaonuan couldn’t hold back and left the bedroom.

Then she saw the light in the study was on.

The door was ajar, and through the crack, she saw Nangong Yaoling, engrossed in work at the desk inside.

Writing and drawing on the documents in front of him.

Xia Xiaonuan was speechless.

This man really could ignore her and focus on his work after teasing her.

But then...

She, Xia Xiaonuan, certainly wasn’t that easy to bully!

With a flash of inspiration, Xia Xiaonuan quickly slipped into the kitchen.

Soon, she came out with a cup of hot milk and pushed open the study door.

”Wifey, missing me already?” Nangong Yaoling stared at the computer screen, not even lifting his head as he asked.

Xia Xiaonuan: ...

Seeing no response from Xia Xiaonuan, Nangong Yaoling finally lifted his eyes a few seconds later.

He saw the milk in Xia Xiaonuan’s hands.

A smile curved at his lips.

”Baby, so thoughtful?”

Xia Xiaonuan did her best to act like nothing was wrong as she stepped forward and placed the milk on Nangong Yaoling’s desk.

”Here, weren’t you hungry? Have a cup of milk then!”

Nangong Yaoling paused his work.

He lazily placed his arms behind his head.

His gaze fell on Xia Xiaonuan’s face, then slowly moved to the steaming cup of milk.

Something flickered in his dark eyes.

He looked up and down at the girl standing in front of him, just freshly showered, like a lotus emerging from clear water.

With a half-smile: ”But you know I’m craving something other than this milk...”

Xia Xiaonuan froze.

And then saw his gaze fall on her chest.

Her cheeks instantly turned red.

”If you don’t drink it, forget it!” Xia Xiaonuan said angrily, making a move to take the milk back.

Her wrist was caught by a large hand.

With a strong pull.

Xia Xiaonuan found herself pulled onto Nangong Yaoling’s lap.

”Who said I wouldn’t drink it?” Nangong Yaoling wrapped his arms around Xia Xiaonuan, whispering in her ear, ”As long as it’s from you, even if it’s poison, I’d like it...”

As he spoke, Nangong Yaoling confidently lifted the cup of milk.

Suddenly, Xia Xiaonuan felt a nervous tension rise within her.

......

Picking my nose, changed the description today out of whim, don’t know if it’s good... Guess what Xiaonuan put in the milk? Haha～～
