The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 257: Chapter 259 [259] Trapped with Mr. Liang 5

When Xia Xiaonuan was halfway through her shower, Mrs. Smith came to the door and handed her a brand new towel and a set of sleepwear:

”This was originally something I intended for my future daughter-in-law. However, my disobedient son not only didn’t bring a daughter-in-law home but also ran off abroad himself!” Mrs. Smith complained outside the door.

”Thank you.” Xia Xiaonuan said gratefully while staring at the slightly sexy silk sleepwear in front of her, her face darkening...

...

When Xia Xiaonuan emerged from the shower and appeared in the bedroom, Liang Shaochen was laying out a mattress on the floor.

His tall figure was spreading the blanket on the carpet beside the bed. Sensing something, he turned around.

He was slightly taken aback.

He saw Xia Xiaonuan with a towel wrapped around her head, wearing a pink sleepwear. But... she had put his jacket over it.

Liang Shaochen’s gaze slowly fell on her legs.

The sleepwear was very short, barely covering her thighs. The high-end silk nightgown made her legs look long and sexy. She was barefoot, wearing a pair of nude-colored slippers.

Noticing Liang Shaochen’s gaze, Xia Xiaonuan’s face tinged with red, awkwardly said, ”I... I finished showering.”

Liang Shaochen recollected himself, coughed dryly, and quickly averted his eyes.

He pointed randomly at the sheet in front of him: ”Um... I’ll sleep on the floor tonight, you... sleep on the bed.”

”Thanks to you for helping me today. If it wasn’t for your timely appearance, I really can’t imagine... So, I’ll sleep on the floor.”

Liang Shaochen: ...

Because he saved her, her way of repaying him was... sleeping on the floor?

Liang Shaochen reached out and touched the tip of his nose, earnestly saying:

”Tonight was an accident, don’t worry about it... You’re a girl, sleeping on the floor will make you catch a cold. Let me sleep there.”

”No, I’ll sleep on the floor.” Xia Xiaonuan pulled at the men’s suit jacket she was wearing, insisting.

Damn, why were the two of them arguing back and forth over a floor?

Liang Shaochen was silent for a few seconds before saying somewhat reluctantly, ”How about... I’ll just talk to Mrs. Smith and sleep in the living room tonight...”

...

”You’ll sleep on the floor!” Xia Xiaonuan suddenly said firmly and loudly.

Liang Shaochen looked at her and smiled.

”I’ll go take a shower.”

Xia Xiaonuan nodded.

When Liang Shaochen walked past her, Xia Xiaonuan felt her blood pressure rising, almost hearing her own heartbeat.

Lying on the bed, Xia Xiaonuan held Liang Shaochen’s jacket on her body.

She lowered her head and sniffed the jacket.

It had his unique green tea scent, mixed with the fragrance of her bath gel.

Xia Xiaonuan hugged the jacket, its high-quality material soft and fine. It looked expensive at a glance.

But to her, none of it mattered; what mattered was that their scents mixed together, making it feel like she was truly with him.

She placed it on her chest, her lips curving into a sweet smile.

But then her gaze fell on Liang Shaochen’s phone beside the bed.

Her mind couldn’t help but conjure the image of Nangong Yaoling.

If she didn’t go back tonight, would Nangong Yaoling... look for her?

No, he wouldn’t. He was the one who drove her away, treating her that way. He probably didn’t care about her safety at all!

Recalling Nangong Yaoling’s roughness in the hospital.

Her fingertip gradually touched her collarbone.

There was a mark—a kiss mark.
