My Home's Ancient Well Connects to the Martial Arts World

Chapter 248: Chapter 244: So It Was Him

”I see.” A flash of understanding appeared in Ye Xing’s eyes. ’Yamamoto Fumitake was a contestant in the Demon King Competition, so naturally he was at the event.’

”This year’s Demon King Competition was arguably the most talent-packed one in history. Besides Demon King Crov, there was an even more terrifying, mysterious expert. It was a true congregation of masters. With my strength, ranking in the top one hundred, crushing your dojo’s master would be child’s play. As for you—” Yamamoto Fumitake’s gaze turned cold and vicious. ”If you dare provoke me, you’ll pay a heavy price!”

The moment he finished speaking, Yamamoto Fumitake kicked off the ground, pouncing toward Ye Xing like a fierce cheetah. He clenched his fist, knuckles CRACKING, and swung it directly at Ye Xing’s face.

The fist whistled through the air with overwhelming force.

Facing the biting wind from the punch, Ye Xing stood with his hands behind his back, his expression serene.

The crowd below the stage was so nervous their hearts were about to leap out of their throats.

Yamamoto Fumitake sneered, his fist just moments from smashing into the bridge of Ye Xing’s nose.

In that split second, Yamamoto Fumitake’s vision blurred. Before he could see anything clearly, a sharp pain shot through his lower abdomen. He was immediately sent flying backward like a discarded sack.

The next moment,

With a loud THUD, he tumbled off the stage, crashing heavily onto the ground and stirring up a cloud of dust.

As Yamamoto Fumitake was blasted off the stage in a single move, the noisy dojo fell silent. Time seemed to freeze. Everyone was dumbfounded, staring at the stage with their mouths agape.

”KO. All done! Frank, let’s go. If we don’t get a move on, we’ll miss our flight!”

The words had barely left his lips when Ye Xing was already off the stage and heading for the dojo entrance.

At that moment, the entire martial arts hall was utterly silent. Everyone was stunned, including the instructors from Changsheng Martial Arts Hall. Though they knew Ye Xing was strong, they never imagined he was *this* strong. His opponent wasn’t some nobody, but a karate master far more powerful than Yieh Hanjian, the head of the Karate Dojo. And yet, he couldn’t even withstand a single move from Ye Xing. That’s right—he couldn’t even block one move. He was blasted off the stage in their very first exchange.

”Holy shit, that was insane!”

”That was fucking incredible!”

”Isn’t Yamamoto Fumitake supposed to be a karate master? How was he so weak?”

”Are you stupid? Yamamoto Fumitake is Yieh Hanjian’s senior brother. There’s no way he’s weak!”

”It’s not that Yamamoto Fumitake is weak, it’s that Ye Xing is too strong!”

”I thought it would take at least a few moves, but it was over in one exchange!”

”His strength is just on another level!”

The crowd was silent for a moment before erupting into a frenzy.

If even the instructors who knew the score were this shocked, the new students and the members of the Karate Dojo were absolutely floored, their jaws on the ground. The head of the Karate Dojo, Yieh Hanjian, was completely dumbstruck, his eyes filled with disbelief. No one else there had truly witnessed Yamamoto Fumitake’s power, but Yieh Hanjian knew exactly how strong his senior brother was. He had never imagined Yamamoto Fumitake would lose, let alone be blasted off the stage in a single exchange. ’What does that even imply?’

”Impossible... This is impossible!” Blood trickled from the corner of Yamamoto Fumitake’s mouth as he lay on the ground, muttering to himself. ”Impossible! How could anyone defeat me in a single move? He must have cheated! Even against Demon King Crov, I can last for at least a few moves!”

”Hmph. Demon King Crov? So what? Mr. Ye Xing knocked Crov off the stage with a single kick! As for that little match just now... heh, I doubt Mr. Ye Xing was even trying.” Frank sneered as he walked past Yamamoto Fumitake, then strode confidently out of the martial arts hall.

”What?! Crov, knocked off the stage with a single kick?! He’s—”

Hearing Frank’s words, Yamamoto Fumitake trembled, his pupils shrinking violently. A scene from several months prior flashed through his mind—the roaring crowd, the expansive central stage, and a young man of Eastern descent leaping into a kick. In that instant, Demon King Crov, a man built like an ox, was sent flying off the stage, crashing heavily to the ground.

”It was him! It was actually him!”

...

Duqiu Ridge, Fujian Province. The mountain range rose and fell in undulating waves.

It was autumn. The afternoon sun, still carrying a hint of warmth, spilled down, coating the mountain forests in a layer of golden splendor.

A highway snaked through the mountain peaks, and on it, vehicles of all kinds—buses, trucks, and sedans—sped along their way.

After driving his Porsche into Fu City, Ye Xing barely stopped for a moment before heading straight for Fu City Changle International Airport.

Fu City Changle International Airport, or Fu City Airport for short, was located on Changle Zhanggang Beach, about 35 kilometers southeast of Fu City’s center. Several airport shuttle bus routes ran between the city and the airport around the clock, with the trip taking thirty to forty minutes.

After arriving at Fu City Changle International Airport, Ye Xing and Frank waited for a short while before boarding began.

It was exactly 4:00 PM. The flight from Fu City to New York, United States, would take around twenty hours. Due to the time difference, they would arrive in America early the next morning, local time.

The plane started up and began speeding down the wide, flat runway. Its wheels spun faster and faster as it picked up speed, the air currents surging around it.

Once it reached a certain speed, the fuselage vibrated with a loud ROAR as the entire plane lifted off the ground, climbing steadily higher. The buildings below rapidly dwindled in size.

Before long, the plane pierced through the clouds.

The setting sun cast its slanted rays, coating the fuselage in a faint golden glow.

’I’ve already been on Earth for three or four hours. The pursuers on the Martial Arts Continent are probably about to arrive. This is no good, I have to go back immediately!’

In his seat inside the cabin, Ye Xing’s gaze flickered, his brows tightly locked with deep worry. He had every reason to be concerned; this enemy was no trivial matter. Ouyang Xu was not only a powerful expert at the Innate Realm, but also the Grand General of Red Sun Province, commanding an army of over a hundred thousand soldiers. This was the first time Ye Xing had ever faced such a powerful opponent directly. The slightest misstep, and all his forces on White Cloud Mountain would be wiped out.

White Cloud Manor was the power base he had painstakingly built over a long time; he absolutely could not allow anything to happen to it.

”Huh? Mr. Ye Xing, where are you going?” Frank asked from the adjacent seat.

”Stomach’s acting up. Going to the restroom. I’ll be back in half an hour!” Ye Xing said, then headed for the lavatory at the rear of the plane.

Inside the lavatory,

Ye Xing locked the door and quickly took out his Qiankun Cloth Bag, from which he released the Purple Light Group Teleportation Gate.

Rosy mist swirled and purple light flared as Ye Xing stepped into the Purple Light Group Teleportation Gate.

The next moment, everything went dark. The world around him shifted, and Ye Xing found himself in the cave Training Room on White Cloud Mountain, back on the Martial Arts Continent.
