New Age Of Summoners

[Inferno Flame Bullet]!

[Inferno Flame Bullet]!

’Swiish! Swiish!’

Two more bullets pierced through the evolved Flaming Monkey’s already damaged body.

’Thud!’

The Flaming Monkey finally collapsed, its life force disappearing completely.

’Excellent... Excellent!’

Ajax was genuinely impressed by Protos’ battling style and quick thinking.

He wasn’t shocked by the fact that Protos’ Inferno Flame Bullet had suddenly become powerful enough to pierce through the evolved Flaming Monkey’s body.

Instead, he was impressed by how Protos had used the [Inferno Flame Bullet] to defeat an opponent whose battle prowess had reached the Peak Emperor Realm.

”Protos, you have found a great way to use your new Unique Skill, [Flame Accumulation]!”

Ajax praised him without hesitation for the way he had triggered the effects of his second Unique Skill: [Flame Accumulation].

”Really, Summoning Master?”

Protos looked at Ajax with bright eyes.

”Of course! You deliberately used the weaker bullets to build up the power from [Flame Accumulation] through repeated attacks that consumed less Essence of Nature before delivering the decisive blow. That was a clever move!”

The reason the final Inferno Flame Bullet had become so powerful was the effect of Protos’ newly awakened Unique Skill, [Flame Accumulation].

As long as Protos repeatedly used the same fire-type skill against a single target, its damage output would increase by 10 percent with each successive attack, stacking up to ten times.

In other words, the eleventh attack could deal twice the damage of the original attack!

And that was only the effect of Flame Accumulation.

With Protos’ current battle prowess boosted by 23.5 times, the eleventh attack could deal damage equivalent to 47 times his normal output!

Even an evolved Emperor Realm Flaming Monkey couldn’t casually withstand such an attack.

’Still, this is only the beginning.’

Ajax looked at Protos with growing expectations.

If Protos could learn to use Flame Accumulation effectively, his battle prowess would increase considerably whenever he fought a single powerful opponent.

Moreover, the skill could become even more terrifying when combined with his other abilities.

’I was expecting him to use his 10 evolved Emperor Realm Flaming Monkeys to subdue his opponent.’

The reason why Ajax was not worried about Protos fighting the evolved Emperor Realm Flaming Monkey was that he had 10 tamed evolved Emperor Realm Flaming Monkeys.

Since those 10 Elemental Beasts were not part of Protos’ battle prowess, Ajax believed that the rewards for killing the other evolved Elemental Beasts with their help wouldn’t decrease.

However, throughout the fight, Protos never asked for their help and killed the evolved Elemental Beast on his own.

’On another note, the evolved Emperor Realm Flaming Monkey’s recovery ability is much stronger than I expected.’

Ajax glanced at the Flaming Monkey’s corpse.

He had already evolved several Emperor Realm Flaming Monkeys before and had let Protos kill them.

However, most of them had been unconscious during the process.

As a result, he hadn’t paid much attention to just how quickly their injuries could heal.

However, the Flaming Monkey Protos he had just fought had been fully conscious and actively using its healing abilities.

Even after suffering such severe injuries, it had been recovering at an astonishing speed.

’If their recovery ability is this powerful, they should be useful for more than just providing rewards.’

Ajax couldn’t help but consider how he might take advantage of this ability in the future.

However, he quickly put that thought aside.

’Anyway, it’s time to check the rewards.’

As soon as Protos killed the evolved Flaming Monkey, a familiar series of system notifications resounded in Ajax’s head.

[The host’s Elemental Spirit, Protos, has killed a Quasi-Divine Elemental Beast (Emperor Realm) on its own.]

[The host’s Elemental Spirit, Protos, has broken through to the Elemental Spirit Emperor Realm!]

[The proficiency of the Elemental Spirit’s skill...…. has increased slightly.]

.

.

.

The first reward was regarding Protos’ breakthrough to the Elemental Spirit Emperor Realm, which Ajax was already expecting.

And as for the increase in the skill proficiencies, it was also nothing surprising.

[The Unique Skill: Flame Body has upgraded slightly!]

’What? The Unique Skill has upgraded?’

Among all the system notifications, Ajax was most excited about the last one.

The other notifications were well within his expectations.

After all, Protos had been stuck at Peak Elemental Spirit King Realm for some time and had killed thousands of King Realm Flaming Monkeys.

Now, killing an evolved Emperor Realm Flaming Monkey was more than enough to push him into the next major realm.

However, the improvement to Flame Body was unexpected.

’Could it be that the Flame Body can continue to grow stronger?’

As far as Ajax knew, the Unique Skills couldn’t grow. So, he immediately checked the skill’s details, eager to see what had changed.

After all, Flame Body was one of Protos’ most powerful abilities.

If it became even stronger, Protos’ battle prowess would increase by another considerable margin.

[Skill Name: Flame Body (Unique)]

[Effect: By consuming 50 percent of the user’s Essence of Nature, the user can enter a state called Flame Body, which lasts for 10 minutes.]

[During these ten minutes, the damage dealt by the user’s fire skills increases fivefold, while the damage received from five-element attacks decreases by 50 percent.]

[Cooldown: 12 hours]

’Interesting... Very interesting!’

As Ajax read the updated information, the smile on his face grew wider.

The damage output remained the same at five times his normal battle prowess.

But the cost to activate the skill had decreased from 90 percent of the user’s Essence of Nature to only 50 percent.

’Compared to the decrease in the cost, I am more excited about the increase in the skill duration.’

For Protos, who had the Divine Talent: Unyielding Flame and the rapid recovery boost from Ajax’s title, the cost was not a big deal.

However, the increase in the skill duration from two minutes to 10 minutes would greatly help Protos fight for a longer duration, which would change the tide of the battle.

Another important change was that the cooldown of the skill had been reduced by half.

’With this, Protos could activate the Unique Skill twice every day, greatly increasing his hunting time every day.’

Ajax looked at the remaining 49 Emperor Realm Flaming Monkeys and muttered, ’It’s time to increase Protos’ Elemental Beast Army.’
