New Age Of Summoners

’Killing it directly increased his cultivation by one level?’

Ajax was a little surprised at the increase in Protos’s cultivation, but after thinking about it, he realised that it made sense.

After all, Emperor Realm Flaming Monkeys were much stronger than King Realm Flaming Monkeys.

More importantly, another system notification appeared, making Ajax even more satisfied.

[The Elemental Spirit is in the process of awakening a Divine Talent (20/100).]

’Twenty points already!’

Ajax was pleased with the progress.

Compared to the ordinary Quasi-Divine Flaming Monkeys, killing this Low-Level Emperor Realm Quasi-Divine Flaming Monkey had increased the Divine Talent’s awakening progress by ten points.

’Even though he can’t kill it instantly, repeated attacks can still finish it off.’

Putting his thoughts about the rewards aside, Ajax carefully analysed the situation.

’However, considering the amount of Essence of Nature consumed to kill this creature, it is much more efficient to kill the Low-Level King Realm Quasi-Divine Flaming Monkeys.’

If it took 1,000 units of Divine Essence of Nature to evolve a Low-Level King Realm Flaming Monkey, killing it would provide a single Fragment of the Divine Pearl.

However, evolving a Low-Level Emperor Realm Flaming Monkey required 5,000 units of Divine Essence of Nature.

Moreover, Protos needed many more attacks to kill the evolved Emperor Realm Flaming Monkey.

’At this rate, Protos’s Essence of Nature will be completely depleted after killing only five of them.’

Ajax frowned slightly as he considered the inefficiency.

’Should I go and find some Low-Level King Realm Flaming Monkeys?’

He thought about it for a moment before shaking his head. ’It’s been really hard to find the Flaming Monkeys these days.’

After repeatedly hunting the Flaming Monkeys, their numbers had dwindled considerably. Moreover, thanks to Ajax, the remaining ones were hiding deep in areas where even his Divine Spirit Consciousness couldn’t detect them.

So, he quickly rejected that idea.

’Since [Inferno Flame Bullet] is a single-target skill, why not use Protos’s explosive skills to kill multiple targets at once?’

Just as Ajax thought about using Protos’s area-of-effect skills to kill multiple evolved Flaming Monkeys and conserve his Essence of Nature, Protos had the same idea.

”Summoning Master, why don’t you evolve all of them at once?”

Ajax was slightly surprised that Protos had noticed the problem and come up with a solution himself.

’This little fellow is learning quite fast.’

”Sure.”

Ajax immediately agreed.

With that, Ajax selected ten Low-Level Emperor Realm Flaming Monkeys, leaving him with four more in the cave.

He quickly injected 5,000 units of Divine Essence of Nature into each of them, evolving all ten into Quasi-Divine Elemental Beasts.

Soon, ten enormous Quasi-Divine Flaming Monkeys lay unconscious in front of Protos.

”Protos, these ten are yours.”

”Thank you, Summoning Master!”

Protos’s eyes shone with excitement.

Without wasting any time, he activated his area-of-effect skills.

[Absolute Flame Explosion]!

’Boom!’

A massive explosion engulfed the ten Quasi-Divine Flaming Monkeys, leaving marks on their crystalline bodies.

[Heavenly Fire Burst]!

’Boom!’

Another powerful burst of flames swept through the cave.

Although the ten Quasi-Divine Flaming Monkeys were much stronger than the ordinary King Realm creatures, they were still unconscious and couldn’t defend themselves.

Moreover, [Heavenly Fire Burst] could inflict a ’Burn’ status on the targets.

’Even though the Burn status does little to no damage to the evolved Flaming Monkeys, it is still better than nothing.’

Ajax quietly observed.

Protos continued alternating between his two area-of-effect skills, concentrating his attacks on their weak points.

After using [Absolute Flame Explosion] and [Heavenly Fire Burst] a total of five times, Protos’s Essence of Nature had depleted by around 80 percent.

At the same time, his efforts were not wasted, as the crystalline bodies of all ten Quasi-Divine Flaming Monkeys shattered almost simultaneously.

’Swiish!’

Countless tiny specks of light emerged from their corpses before gathering into ten separate golden fragments.

Soon, fifty Fragments of the Divine Pearl appeared in Ajax’s hand.

At the same time, Protos’s cultivation began rising rapidly.

[The host’s Elemental Spirit, Protos, has killed a Quasi-Divine Elemental Beast.]

[The Elemental Spirit’s cultivation has increased.]

[The host’s Elemental Spirit, Protos, has broken through to the Level 4 Elemental Spirit King Realm.]

.

.

.

[The host’s Elemental Spirit, Protos, has broken through to the Level 9 Elemental Spirit King Realm.]

’Not bad!’

Ajax was more than satisfied with the results.

Not only had he obtained fifty Fragments of the Divine Pearl, but Protos had also reached the peak of the Elemental Spirit King Realm.

’And all this happened in such a short time.’

Ajax looked at Protos, who was standing proudly among the remains of the ten Quasi-Divine Flaming Monkeys.

That was not the end of the system notifications, as two more appeared, thoroughly shocking Ajax.

[The host’s special title, [Elemental Spirit Master], has been triggered.]

[The host’s Elemental Spirit has awakened a new Unique Skill.]

’What? Another Unique Skill?’

Protos already had a Unique Skill: [Flame Body], and now he had awakened a second one.

In a world where most Elemental Spirits never awakened a Unique Skill, Protos had awakened two of them even before reaching the Elemental Spirit Emperor Realm.

’Let’s check it.’

Without hesitation, Ajax hurriedly checked the details of the newly awakened Unique Skill.

[Skill Name: Flame Accumulation (Max)]

[Skill Type: Passive]

[Effect: When using the same fire-type skill repeatedly against a single target, the damage output will increase.]

[Note: From the second attack, the damage output will increase by 10 percent, and this effect can stack up to 10 times.]

’Haha.’

Reading the skill effect, Ajax could not help but laugh out loud because this skill allowed Protos’s attacks to deal incredible damage to his opponents.

’Even though it looks like the skill can only increase the damage output by a maximum of 100 percent, it doubles the damage of the attacks released by Protos even when he is boosted by the bloodline and other skills.’

In short, right now, when Protos’s battle prowess was boosted by 23.5 times, if he could stack the effect ten times, the damage dealt by the eleventh attack would be a whopping 47 times his normal damage output.

’With his current strength, even without my bloodline, Protos could already deal with most Emperor Realm Elemental Spirits.’

Ten days ago, Ajax never expected that his first Elemental Spirit in the new universe would become so powerful that even his own Elemental Spirits could not defeat it before their evolution into Divine Elemental Spirits.

’And he has yet to break through to the Elemental Spirit Emperor Realm. When it happens, he could become an invincible Elemental Spirit in the universe.’

’Moreover, by killing the Quasi-Divine Elemental Beasts, it won’t be long before Protos breaks through to the Emperor Realm and reaches the peak of that Realm.’

For most Elemental Spirits, awakening their Elemental Ascendance was difficult, and even after awakening it, increasing the awakening percentage was another hurdle.

But Protos had already fully awakened his Elemental Ascendance, overcoming the most difficult part for an Elemental Spirit.

So, Ajax knew it was just a matter of a few days before Protos became one of the strongest Elemental Spirits below the Heavenly Realm.

’Time to check on the main thing.’

More importantly, Ajax checked the Divine Talent’s awakening progress.

[The Elemental Spirit is in the process of awakening a Divine Talent (100/100).]

Ajax smiled.

He had initially expected the Divine Talent to require a tremendous amount of time and effort to awaken.

However, thanks to the Abyssal Beast God’s Bloodline and the rewards from killing Quasi-Divine Elemental Beasts, Protos’s progress was much faster.

[Congratulations, host! Your Elemental Spirit has awakened a Divine Talent.]
