New Age Of Summoners

”As long as you keep attacking the same weak point, you might eventually break through its defence.”

Protos listened carefully to Ajax’s words and trained accordingly.

He corrected his mistakes, improved the structure of his Flame Arrows, and tried to concentrate more power into each attack without wasting too much Essence of Nature.

Although the Flaming Monkey remained unconscious throughout the training, its crystalline body gradually accumulated more and more marks from Protos’s attacks.

Twenty minutes passed in a flash.

’Kacha!’

Just as Protos was about to deplete all his Essence of Nature, a cracking sound suddenly echoed through the surroundings. He was already breathless from the continuous attacks.

The crystalline body of the Flaming Monkey, which Protos had been repeatedly attacking with [Flame Arrow], finally developed a noticeable crack on its abdomen.

’It finally cracked!’

Ajax was pleasantly surprised.

”It finally cracked!”

At the same time, Protos shouted excitedly.

The two of them spoke the same words, one in his mind and the other aloud.

”Good. Continue and kill it.”

Ajax praised Protos. However, he didn’t reveal how excited he was about Protos’s achievement.

Instead, he calmly asked him to continue and finish off the Flaming Monkey.

Although its crystalline body had cracked, the Flaming Monkey was far from dying.

Protos had to deal a lot more damage before he could kill it.

”Yes, Summoning Master!”

Encouraged by Ajax’s praise, Protos gathered his remaining Fire Essence of Nature and launched a few more Flame Arrows toward the cracked spot.

’Whoosh!’

’Whoosh!’

The arrows struck the same location, widening the crack slightly.

However, before Protos could deliver the final blow, his Fire Essence of Nature was completely depleted.

’Thud!’

Protos fell to his knees, breathing heavily as the last traces of Fire Essence of Nature disappeared from his body.

”Summoning Master... I... I can’t continue.”

Ajax looked at the exhausted Elemental Spirit Child before glancing at the Flaming Monkey.

’Not bad. At least he managed to crack its crystalline body this time.’

A faint smile appeared on Ajax’s face.

Compared to the previous training session, Protos had made noticeable progress.

Although he still couldn’t kill the Flaming Monkey, he had managed to damage its body with his own strength.

For an Elemental Spirit that had been born only recently, this was already a promising achievement.

’With enough training, he might be able to kill it by next time.’

Ajax nodded his head and tossed some Low-Level Spirit Stones to Protos.

”Use these Spirit Stones to recover your depleted Essence of Nature.”

This time, Ajax didn’t plan to send the Elemental Spirit Child into the Divine Inner World.

The reason was simple.

Since Protos was already on the verge of breaking through to the Elite Elemental Soldier Realm, even if he didn’t actively cultivate, he would definitely break through within a few minutes of entering the Divine Inner World.

Ajax didn’t want Protos to break through that soon.

’It’s been less than two hours since he hatched. There’s no rush.’

The Second Round had a time limit of 30 days, and it had been only two hours since it started.

Therefore, Ajax felt there was no need to rush Protos’s cultivation.

Moreover, he was confident that he could easily nurture Protos to the King Realm in just 15 days, not to mention that he had 30 days to complete the Second Round.

’Besides, the tenfold recovery speed from my title, [Elemental Spirit Master], has already been activated because Protos completely depleted his Essence of Nature.’

With these thoughts, Ajax asked Protos to recover his depleted Essence of Nature.

For the next hour, Ajax sat beside Protos, making sure he wasn’t disturbed by the Flaming Monkeys in the forest.

…

One hour passed, and Protos opened his eyes after returning to his peak condition.

”Summoning Master, I’m ready!”

Protos stood up with a determined expression, eager to resume his training.

Ajax nodded and didn’t waste any time before finding another Low-Level King Realm Flaming Monkey for Protos to train against.

”Begin.”

”Yes, Summoning Master!”

Soon, Protos started releasing Flame Arrows to attack the abdomen of the Flaming Monkey, which was its weak spot.

’The Flame Arrows he is summoning have become very powerful compared to his first training session.’

Ajax carefully observed Protos’s attacks.

Previously, Protos’s Flame Arrows had been small and unstable, with flames flickering around their edges. They dispersed almost instantly upon striking the Flaming Monkey’s crystalline body.

However, after the previous training session, his Flame Arrows had become much more concentrated.

The arrows were now longer and sharper, with their fiery tips spinning rapidly as they flew towards the target.

More importantly, the Fire Essence of Nature within each arrow was much more concentrated, allowing the arrows to deliver greater destructive power without consuming too much energy.

Although the arrows still couldn’t penetrate the Flaming Monkey’s crystalline body immediately, they left increasingly noticeable marks on the same spot.

Ajax could clearly see Protos’s improvement.

’Not bad. His control over the Fire Essence of Nature has improved considerably.’

He was proud of his new Elemental Spirits in this new universe.

After ten minutes, a crisp cracking sound echoed through the surroundings.

’Kacha!’

A crack finally appeared on the Flaming Monkey’s abdomen.

’Huh? Previously, it took him 20 minutes for that crack to appear, and now, it took only ten minutes.’

Ajax was pleasantly surprised by how quickly Protos’s Flame Arrow had developed.

’Is it just Protos, or do all the Elemental Spirits in this universe have such terrifying learning abilities?’

Ajax knew that the Elemental Spirits in this universe were slightly more powerful than those in his original universe.

He still didn’t know the exact reason, but he guessed it had something to do with the purer Essence of Nature in this universe.

After all, the purer the Essence of Nature, the easier it was for Elemental Spirits to absorb it and improve their control over their elemental powers.

Nevertheless, Ajax didn’t think too much about it and focused on Protos’s training.

”Keep attacking the same spot!”

”Yes, Summoning Master!”

Protos gathered more Fire Essence of Nature and continued releasing Flame Arrows at the crack.

’Whoosh!’

’Whoosh!’

Each arrow struck the same spot, gradually widening the crack.

After another two minutes, the crack spread across a considerable portion of the Flaming Monkey’s abdomen.

’Kacha!’

With one final Flame Arrow, the Flaming Monkey’s crystalline body shattered, and its body disappeared into countless tiny specks of light.

’Swiish!’

At the same time, Protos’s entire body was suddenly covered with a bright fire halo.

The flames around him swirled rapidly before gathering at his fingertips, forming a tiny flame that flickered with an unusual intensity.

At the same time, a series of system notifications appeared in front of Ajax.

[The host’s Elemental Spirit, Protos, has successfully killed an Elemental Beast whose cultivation is far higher than his own.]

[Congratulations! The Elemental Spirit, Protos’s skill [Flame Arrow] has evolved into [Advanced Flame Arrow].]

[The host’s special title, [Elemental Spirit Master], has been triggered.]

[Congratulations! The Elemental Spirit, Protos, has learned the skill [Flame Explosion].]

’What?!’

Ajax’s eyes widened as he read the notifications, but before he could process them, the system sent two more notifications which thoroughly shocked him.

[The Elemental Spirit has...]
