New Age Of Summoners

Most of the information in Protos’s interface wasn’t particularly surprising to Ajax.

After all, he had personally witnessed Protos’s growth over the past ten days.

However, this new skill caught his attention immediately.

’Great Fire Blessing?’

Ajax hurriedly checked its details.

[Skill Name: Great Fire Blessing]

[Skill Type: Fire]

[Proficiency: Basic]

[Effect: The user releases a special fire aura that increases the firepower of those around them while enhancing their resistance to fire attacks by 50 percent.]

’What?!’

Ajax’s eyes widened in surprise.

’A support skill that increases the firepower and fire resistance of those around him by 20 percent?’

This was completely different from Protos’s other skills.

Most of his skills were focused on attacking enemies or defending himself.

However, [Great Fire Blessing] could strengthen other beings around him.

More importantly, the skill increased both firepower and fire resistance.

In other words, those who fought alongside Protos could unleash more powerful fire attacks while suffering less damage from fire-based attacks.

’This skill would be extremely useful when fighting alongside other Fire Elemental Spirits.’

Ajax couldn’t help but smile as he thought, ’What’s more, it is just at the Basic Level, so how powerful would it become upon reaching Perfection?’

As for the Unique Skill and Divine Skill, there were no new changes to them.

”Protos, are you ready?”

After checking today’s changes in Protos’s stats, Ajax had first let him rest for an hour in his Divine Inner World to recover his Essence of Nature. Now that he had returned to his peak condition, Ajax asked him the question.

”Yes, Summoning Master!”

After returning from his daily hunt, Protos had another usual routine: killing Quasi-Divine Elemental Beasts.

Since the rewards from killing ordinary Elemental Beasts were already quite generous, how could the rewards from killing Quasi-Divine Elemental Beasts be any less generous?

Therefore, Ajax let Protos train against a Quasi-Divine Elemental Beast every day after returning home.

”I hope I can kill a Quasi-Divine Elemental Beast today!”

Protos’s eyes shone with determination.

Even though Ajax knew that killing Quasi-Divine Elemental Beasts would give Protos generous rewards while he received Divine Pearl Fragments, there was one problem.

Protos’s attacks had almost no effect on them.

Despite the fact that even the weakest Quasi-Divine Elemental Beasts possessed the strength of the Emperor Realm, Protos’s incredible attack power still failed to damage their bodies.

’Perhaps the Quasi-Divine Elemental Beasts have a greater resistance to fire attacks because they are higher-level Elemental Beasts.’

This was what Ajax had concluded after observing their fights.

After all, when Ajax used his fists, he could easily kill them. However, Protos’s fire-based skills barely left any marks on their crystalline bodies.

Of course, Protos was able to kill the regular Emperor-level Flaming Monkeys; however, he could not even kill a Low-Level King Realm Quasi-Divine Flaming Monkey.

Nevertheless, Ajax had continued making Protos train against them every day, asking him to exhaust his Essence of Nature at least ten times.

”You can kill it today.”

Ajax encouraged Protos as he always did.

However, this time, he was more confident than ever that Protos could succeed.

The reason was simple.

Not only had Protos’s cultivation increased from Level 1 to Level 9 Elite Elemental Spirit General, but he had also awakened a new skill that increased the firepower of those around him by 50 percent.

With the additional boost from [Great Fire Blessing], Ajax believed Protos finally had a chance.

”Begin.”

As soon as Ajax gave the order, Protos started his training against the unconscious Quasi-Divine Flaming Monkey that Ajax had prepared beforehand.

[Inferno Flame Bullet]!

[Inferno Flame Bullet]!

’Swiish!’

’Swiish!’

In just a few moments, Protos released ten small but powerful fire bullets towards the Quasi-Divine Flaming Monkey.

However, the moment the bullets touched its crystalline body, they sank into it without causing any visible damage.

’As expected.’

Ajax wasn’t particularly surprised.

Protos had already reached the peak of the Elite Elemental Spirit General Realm, and his skills had reached impressive levels of proficiency.

Nevertheless, the difference between an Elite Elemental Spirit General and a Quasi-Divine Elemental Beast was enormous.

”Keep going, Protos!”

”Yes, Summoning Master!”

Protos gritted his teeth and continued attacking.

[Flame Body]!

The flames surrounding Protos suddenly intensified as he activated his Unique Skill, consuming 90 percent of his Essence of Nature and increasing the damage dealt by his fire skills fivefold.

Immediately afterward, his Divine Skill was activated when his Essence of Nature was depleted.

[Unyielding Flame]!

’Swiish!’

His depleted Essence of Nature was restored instantly, and his mental fatigue disappeared.

Even after activating both skills, Protos didn’t stop as he activated another skill.

[Great Fire Blessing]!

It boosted the firepower of his fire-type skills by 50 percent.

With the threefold boost from his fully awakened Elemental Ascendance, the damage output of Protos’s fire-type skills increased to 850 percent.

[Inferno Flame Bullet]!

[Inferno Flame Bullet]!

’Swiish!’

’Swiish!’

Soon, he released the fire bullets at his target.

’Swiish!’

’Swiish!’

Despite all these boosts, Protos could only leave faint marks on the Quasi-Divine Flaming Monkey’s crystalline body.

’Come on!’

Protos poured everything into his attacks.

He knew that his Summoning Master had high expectations of him, and he desperately wanted to complete this task.

More importantly, he wanted to prove that he could become stronger through his own efforts.

[Absolute Flame Explosion]!

[Heavenly Fire Burst]!

’Boom!’

’Boom!’

[Inferno Flame Bullet]!

’Swiish!’

After multiple attacks, a faint cracking sound finally echoed through the cave.

’Kacha!’

A tiny crack appeared on the Quasi-Divine Flaming Monkey’s abdomen.

Protos froze for a moment before his eyes lit up.

’I did it!’

However, the crack was still too small to cause any serious damage.

”Keep going!”

Ajax encouraged him from the side.

”Yes, Summoning Master!”

Protos continued attacking the same spot.

However, even after several more attacks, the crack barely grew.

’Looks like he is still lacking a bit.’

Ajax shook his head slightly.

Although Protos had made considerable progress, the difference between their strengths was still too great… especially against a Quasi-Divine Elemental Beast.

Seeing the tiny crack on the Quasi-Divine Flaming Monkey’s body, Protos couldn’t help but feel disappointed.

’Swoosh!’

Soon, the two-minute duration of [Flame Body] ended, and Protos’s battle prowess dropped from 850 percent to just 300 percent, which was his usual level.

’Am I still very weak to kill it?’

Protos was a bit disappointed.

He had already used almost all the methods available to him, yet he still couldn’t kill it, and now that his [Flame Body] had entered cooldown, his hopes of killing the Quasi-Divine Elemental Beasts today had dropped to zero.

’If his current strength isn’t enough, I’ll give him more.’

However, Ajax had no intention of letting Protos give up.

Ajax’s eyes flashed as he decided to use his powerful bloodline for the first time after entering this new universe.

[Abyssal Beast God’s Bloodline, Activate!]

In the next second, a mysterious energy entered Protos’s body and began boosting his battle prowess.

One hundred percent!

Two hundred percent!

Three hundred percent!

.

.

.

With each increase, Protos felt his strength rising rapidly.

His eyes widened in shock as he looked towards Ajax, who merely revealed a slight smile.

”Let’s see whether you can kill the Quasi-Divine Elemental Beast this time.”
