New Age Of Summoners

While others were feeding their Elemental Spirits with Spirit Stones, Ajax started repeating the process of capturing Flaming Monkeys, injecting Divine Essence of Nature to evolve them into Quasi-Divine Elemental Beasts, and then killing them.

[The host has injected 3,000 units of Divine Essence of Nature and evolved an Elemental Beast into a Quasi-Divine Elemental Beast.]

[The host has killed a Quasi-Divine Elemental Beast and received 3 Fragments of the Divine Pearl (Fire).]

[The host has injected 1,000 units of Divine Essence of Nature and evolved an Elemental Beast into a Quasi-Divine Elemental Beast.]

The system notifications kept ringing in Ajax’s head as he continued hunting.

’Depending on the strength of the Elemental Beasts, the required Divine Essence of Nature for their evolution also increases.’

After hunting for ten minutes, Ajax learned that the number of units of Divine Essence of Nature required for evolution varied depending on the strength of the Flaming Monkeys.

For example, a Low-Level King Realm Flaming Monkey needed only 1,000 units of Divine Essence of Nature, whereas a Mid-Level King Realm Flaming Monkey needed 2,000 units, and a High-Level King Realm Flaming Monkey required 3,000 units.

’Nevertheless, the number of Fragments of the Divine Pearl I receive from killing these Flaming Monkeys also varies.’

Killing a Low-Level King Realm Flaming Monkey gave him only one fragment, whereas the corresponding Mid-Level and High-Level King Realm Flaming Monkeys gave him two and three fragments, respectively.

In short, Ajax concluded that for every 1,000 units of Divine Essence of Nature spent, he would receive one Fragment of the Divine Pearl.

’Not bad.’

Ajax nodded in satisfaction before looking deeper into the Flaming Forest.

’I should find an Emperor Realm Flaming Monkey to see how their mechanism works.’

Compared to the other regions in the Flame Terrain, the number of Elemental Beasts in the Flaming Forest was much higher.

However, the number of Emperor Realm Flaming Monkeys was relatively low.

Nevertheless, it was the most dangerous region in the entire Elemental Source Land**,** as the number of Flaming Monkeys was just insane.

Therefore, Ajax still didn’t know how many units of Divine Essence of Nature were required to evolve Emperor Realm Flaming Monkeys or how many Fragments of the Divine Pearl they would drop after being killed.

’For now, I will just focus on the Flaming Monkeys within my reach.’

Even though there were fewer Emperor Realm Flaming Monkeys, the sheer number of King Realm Flaming Monkeys was enough to make up for the difference when it came to collecting Fragments of the Divine Pearl.

Of course, Ajax decided to keep an eye out for Emperor Realm Flaming Monkeys. However, he didn’t waste time searching for them specifically.

…..

Time continued to pass, and in a flash, one hour had passed since Protos entered the Divine Inner World.

Ajax finally stopped his hunting.

’System, show me my gains for the past hour.’

Ajax asked the system, and soon, a system window appeared before him.

[The host has gained 200 Divine Pearls (Fire).]

’Not bad... not bad.’

Ajax was satisfied with his gains.

Two thousand Fragments of the Divine Pearl merged into 200 Divine Pearls.

That meant he could help two hundred Elemental Spirits fully awaken their Elemental Ascendance with those Divine Pearls.

Even though Ajax had no particular use for these Divine Pearls, as all his Elemental Spirits had already evolved into Divine Elemental Spirits, he could sell them to others.

They were practically heaven-defying resources. Having them would give him much greater purchasing power in the universe.

’I’m sure that if I nurture some Summoners and their Elemental Spirits in this universe, it will increase the universe’s recognition.’

Ajax also thought of another important thing he could do with these Divine Pearls: help Summoners nurture their Elemental Spirits.

Although one of the methods the system had shown him for increasing the universe’s recognition was nurturing the worlds in this universe, Ajax strongly believed that helping the Summoners of this universe would rapidly increase the universe’s recognition.

After all, powerful Summoners were essential to the strength of a universe.

’Anyway, it’s time for Protos’s training.’

The reason he had stopped his hunting was not that he was tired.

Instead, the one-hour recovery period he had given Protos had ended.

Ajax summoned Protos, who had recovered from his exhaustion and returned to his peak condition.

”Summoning Master, even though I was only focused on recovering my depleted Essence of Nature, my cultivation progressed!”

As soon as he appeared, the Elemental Spirit Child Protos excitedly informed Ajax about the increase in his cultivation.

That’s right!

Before entering the Divine Inner World, Protos had just broken through and was at the Low-level Level 9 Elemental Soldier Realm.

However, after spending one hour recovering inside the Divine Inner World, his cultivation had increased to the Peak-Level 9 Elemental Soldier Realm.

”I know.”

Ajax smiled.

The increase in Protos’s cultivation was well within his expectations**, as it was due to** the rich environment of the Divine Inner World**, where cultivators could increase their cultivation just by staying**.

Of course, the effects were clearly visible for low-level cultivators or Elemental Spirits.

”Don’t worry about it. Now, resume your skill training.”

Ajax had already knocked out another weak Flaming Monkey for Protos’s training.

”Yes, Summoning Master!”

Hearing Ajax’s words, Protos heaved a sigh of relief and prepared excitedly for his training.

During the training, Ajax didn’t go after the Flaming Monkeys.

Instead, he watched Protos train and guided him on how to improve his skill.

”Remember, creating a perfect arrow isn’t about using more Essence of Nature. You need to focus the energy properly while using as little as possible.”

Ajax pointed out Protos’s mistakes whenever he noticed them.

”If one Flame Arrow isn’t enough to damage your opponent, release two at the same time.”

Protos nodded and followed his instructions.

”If two aren’t enough, use three. However, don’t waste your Essence of Nature by blindly increasing the number of arrows. Look for your opponent’s weak points and focus your attacks there.”

Ajax continued explaining the basics of combat.

”Even if your opponent is much stronger than you, there will always be a limit to how much damage its body can withstand.”
