New Age Of Summoners

Time continued to pass, and in a flash, ten days had passed.

In the Flaming Forest, a large group of Flaming Monkeys were chasing an Elemental Spirit Child.

’They don’t dare to come out when the Summoning Master is with me, but when he is not, they excitedly chase me.’

The Elemental Spirit Child scoffed at the Flaming Monkeys’ pattern of running away when facing the strong but bullying the weak.

’Isn’t that also the reason why I asked the Summoning Master to do his thing while I hunt these Flaming Monkeys?’

A smile appeared on the Elemental Spirit Child’s face.

’Swiish!’

Soon, a fist-sized fireball appeared in front of him.

[Absolute Flame Explosion]

’Swiish!’

With a flick, the Elemental Spirit Child sent the fireball at the approaching large group of Flaming Monkeys.

’Boom!’

The moment the fist-sized fireball touched a Flaming Monkey, it created a huge explosion, killing the entire group of Flaming Monkeys chasing him.

’Swiish!’

’Swiish!’

After dealing with more than 20 Flaming Monkeys, the Elemental Spirit Child felt the proficiency of his skills increase significantly.

’Time to go home.’

After killing today’s quota of Flaming Monkeys, the Elemental Spirit Child returned to a cave in the Flaming Forest.

”You are back.”

In the cave, there was already a human who was sitting on a pile of unconscious Flaming Monkeys.

”Summoning Master, looks like you have found quite a few Emperor-level Flaming Monkeys.”

Seeing the human, the Elemental Spirit Child became excited.

”Yes. Protos.”

The human nodded his head, as he was also happy with today’s collection.

The human was none other than Ajax, and the Elemental Spirit Child was Protos.

During these ten days, Ajax had spent most of his time hunting Elemental Beasts in the Flaming Forest and collecting Fragments of the Divine Pearls.

Whenever Protos recovered, Ajax would bring him out and continue his training.

As a result, Protos’s cultivation naturally increased at an astonishing rate.

After repeated battles, his understanding of his skills improved considerably, and he learned to use them more efficiently.

Three days ago, Ajax noticed a problem.

The number of Flaming Monkeys gradually decreased, and moreover, thanks to Ajax, almost all of them had hidden themselves very well.

After some thought, Ajax decided to let Protos hunt the Flaming Monkeys on his own.

With that, he found a cave in the center of the Flaming Forest and made it their temporary home.

By that time, even though Protos’ cultivation was not very high, thanks to his skills and their mastery, his battle prowess was enough to deal with the King-level Flaming Monkeys.

’System, check Protos’s stats.’

As usual, Ajax checked Protos’ stats as soon as he returned home.

[Elemental Spirit Name: Protos (Fire)]

[Cultivation: Level 9 Elite Elemental Spirit General]

[Skills: Inferno Flame Bullet (Max), Absolute Flame Explosion (Max), Flame Protection (Max), Infernal Mirror (Max), Heavenly Fire Burst (Advanced), Great Fire Blessing (Basic)]

[Unique Skill: Flame Body (Max)]

[Divine Skill: Unyielding Flame]

[Elemental Ascendance: 100 Percent (Increases battle prowess by three times)]

’Only eleven days old and already at the peak of the Elite Elemental Spirit General Realm.’

Looking at Protos’s cultivation, Ajax could not help but smile.

However, his cultivation wasn’t the only thing that surprised Ajax.

Apart from his cultivation, which had increased from Level 9 Elite Elemental Spirit Soldier to Level 9 Elite Elemental Spirit General, the most noticeable changes were in his skills and their proficiency.

During these ten days, [Inferno Flame Arrow] had evolved into [Inferno Flame Bullet], [Flame Explosion] had evolved into [Absolute Flame Explosion], and [Flame Wall] had evolved into [Flame Protection].

As for their skill proficiency, all three skills had reached the maximum stage and couldn’t be evolved further.

In other words, Protos had already mastered three powerful skills within just eleven days of his birth.

’Not bad.’

Ajax nodded in satisfaction before examining the remaining skills.

[Infernal Mirror] had also reached maximum proficiency, whereas [Heavenly Fire Burst] had only reached the Advanced stage.

’Let’s check the changes in those skills.’

Ajax immediately checked the information on the two skills whose proficiency had increased.

[Skill Name: Infernal Mirror]

[Skill Type: Fire]

[Proficiency: Max]

[Effect: The user creates a fiery mirror that reflects incoming attacks back towards their source with 150 percent of the original power.]

[The power of the reflected attacks depends on the user’s cultivation and skill proficiency.]

[Cooldown: One hour]

’The reflected attack’s power has increased from 80 to 150. Excellent.’

Ajax’s eyes lit up.

Although Protos already had [Flame Protection] to defend himself against incoming attacks, [Infernal Mirror] was considerably different.

Instead of merely blocking attacks, Protos could reflect them back at his enemies.

With it, he could even use his opponent’s attacks against them.

’This skill will be useful when fighting opponents stronger than him.’

Since the power of the reflected attack would be boosted to 150 percent, the attacker would have a serious problem dealing with it.

Ajax nodded before checking the next skill.

[Skill Name: Heavenly Fire Burst]

[Skill Type: Fire]

[Proficiency: Advanced]

[Effect: The user gathers Fire Essence of Nature within their body before releasing it in a powerful burst of flames, damaging all enemies within a six-meter radius.]

[Additional effect: The targets will also receive a burn effect that continuously deals damage for the next two minutes.]

’Along with the burst radius, there is a burn status effect on the targets.’

Ajax was satisfied with this skill as well.

By the time it reached Perfection, Ajax was sure that the burst radius would at least increase to a 20-meter radius.

With [Inferno Flame Bullet] for long-range attacks, [Absolute Flame Explosion] for concentrated destructive power at long range, and [Heavenly Fire Burst] for attacking multiple enemies at close range, Protos had already developed a fairly comprehensive set of offensive skills.

Moreover, he had [Flame Protection] and [Infernal Mirror] to defend himself against incoming attacks.

’Not bad. He has both offensive and defensive skills.’

Ajax was increasingly impressed with Protos’s progress.

However, when he examined the final new skill that appeared today, his eyes lit up again.

’There is another new skill today.’
