Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

After Beitang Yao finished the meeting, he came out of the study, and it was already morning.

He gently opened the bedroom door, and what greeted his eyes was an empty room, everything inside was neatly arranged, but Xia Qingqian was nowhere to be seen.

Unease immediately welled up in his heart, he went in and opened the bathroom door, not finding her there, and then opened the Sky Garden door, not finding her there either.

”Qian Qian, Qian Qian!” Beitang Yao growled softly, remembered he hadn’t checked downstairs, and hurriedly turned to go downstairs.

As he was going down the stairs, he bumped into a servant who was rising to greet him. With a serious face, he asked, ”Where is Qian Qian?”

Just at that moment, Xia Qingqian came out of the kitchen carrying breakfast she had just cooked, and saw Beitang Yao standing on the stairs inquiring about her whereabouts, which warmed her heart. She waved and said, ”Young Master Yao, are you done with work? I’ve already prepared breakfast for you, come over and eat!”

Hearing her voice, Beitang Yao looked over, quickly descended the stairs, hurried straight to Xia Qingqian’s side, and wrapped her in his arms, saying, ”Qian Qian, I finished work and didn’t see you in the room, why did you get up so early?”

”I slept too much. When I woke up and saw you were still busy in the study, I came down to cook breakfast for you.” Xia Qingqian pulled Beitang Yao to sit down and pushed a cup of hot milk in front of him: ”Eat while it’s hot, you haven’t eaten all night.”

Xia Qingqian felt truly sorry for Beitang Yao. He always worked through the late hours, sometimes all night long.

She lowered her head and saw faint stubble appearing around his lips.

”Did you make all this? You’re pregnant, you shouldn’t be doing so much. We have servants, you don’t need to do this work.” Beitang Yao pulled up a chair for her, ”I pay them to do these tasks, or do you want me to send them all packing to retire at home?”

Seeing her moving around with her big belly, he couldn’t bear it.

”It’s good for pregnant women to move around, and I’m happy to cook breakfast for you!” Xia Qingqian smiled, looking at the breakfast she had personally prepared for him, feeling very happy, ”Hurry and eat, I didn’t make much, so I’m not tired, I know my limits.”

Beitang Yao felt immensely pleased, even the breakfast tasted exceptionally delicious, it had been months since he had such a tasty breakfast.

”This breakfast is really delicious, I like it a lot,” Beitang Yao said with a smile after drinking the last sip of milk.

”There’s more in the kitchen, if it’s not enough, I’ll bring out more.” Xia Qingqian saw that he had finished the breakfast thoroughly, and her heart was immediately filled with warmth.

Beitang Yao quickly grabbed her hand, ”No need, I’m full.” He pulled her into his embrace, unwilling to part with her even for a moment, he wanted to see her and feel her presence at all times.

”Don’t, there are others around!” Xia Qingqian blushed, remembering vividly what happened last night when they were caught by Beitang Huan, she didn’t want a repeat.

After filling his stomach, Beitang Yao’s mind started stirring with thoughts, he turned his head and lightly bit her earlobe, suggesting, ”How about we go back to the room, this time we’ll lock the door properly.”

”Qian Qian, let’s go back to the room, I have something to talk to you about.” After speaking, Beitang Yao placed his hand under Xia Qingqian’s knees, and with a slight lift, easily picked her up.

Even though Xia Qingqian was carrying three children now, he could still hold her effortlessly.
