Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Xia Qingqian was startled. She never expected Beitang Yao to kneel in front of her, holding a ring, and speak such words to her.

”What are you doing?”

He thought she hadn’t heard him clearly, so he spoke sincerely and passionately again: ”I will give you a title, make you my legally recognized wife. You and the baby will be my lifelong loves. I will never deceive you again, never doubt you again, I will trust you. My heart only belongs to you and the baby. I will make you the happiest woman in the world. My shoulders are broad, my embrace is gentle, when you’re tired, you can lean on me. When you’re old and can’t walk, I’ll carry you.”

His words were deeply moving, and he tightened his grip on her hand a bit more.

Even Xia Qingqian, with little self-control, cried because of his words, her nose tingling and tears forming misty pools in her eyes. She bit her lip, wanting to pull him up: ”Young Master Yao, please get up, don’t do this, okay?”

Not receiving any response from her, he seemed unwilling to get up, pulling her hand deeply up to his lips, and kissed it deeply.

Xia Qingqian was shocked by his series of actions. When his kiss fell on the back of her hand, her body convulsed involuntarily, and she stared at him blankly.

”Qian Qian, are you dissatisfied with my promise? Or do you think this ring is not big enough? Are you still mad at me?” His eyes were filled with deep passion and urgency.

Seeing the blazing heat in his eyes, Xia Qingqian’s heart also turned chaotic. She bit her lip and said, ”Young Master Yao, I don’t hate you, I’ve never been mad at you. I’m not qualified to be. Please get up, okay?”

Was he really proposing to her? This is something she never dared to imagine.

If he really wanted to marry her, she wouldn’t ask for anything, nor despise the things he offered her for being too small. She was always someone who was easily satisfied. She didn’t pursue material things much, just a sincere heart was enough to leave her moved.

But would Young Master Yao’s heart be forever open to her?

Haha, that’s unknown.

”So, are you agreeing to marry me?” Beitang Yao’s deep voice was as mellow as aged wine, pleasing to the ear.

Xia Qingqian hesitated a bit, not because she refused, but because she didn’t know how to agree: ”Young Master Yao, I don’t have a powerful background, nor a fairy-like face, and I don’t have the charm to make you love me. Thank you for saying these words to me, I also want to agree, but I’m not worthy of you.”

Beitang Yao frowned, his face darkening, and said: ”I don’t care if you have a powerful background or the beauty of a fairy. In my eyes, you are the treasure of this world. In my heart, you are the most beautiful. Please let your name appear on my household registration, okay?”

This man spoke in such mysterious ways. It was a proposal, yet he never mentioned the word proposal, instead he gave her a promise, inviting her to be with him.

Xia Qingqian’s heart was also filled with happiness. A man like Beitang Yao, kneeling in front of her, saying such words to her, she believed it was something he had never done before.

If she didn’t agree, he would definitely be unhappy.

”Are you proposing to me?” she asked naively, ”Am I worthy of you?”

She never imagined that a plaything he bought with money would one day receive his proposal. How bizarre it was.
