One-Eyed Monster

Igor also jumped down from the cart; he was already very familiar with this place.

”Let’s go.” Igor waved at Perkins and said.

”Huh? Where do you want me to go...”

”To verify my theory!” Igor said irritably, ”Really, don’t you want to know what this weird behavior of yours is about?”

”I do, but I have a whole cart full of stuff...”

”Just bring it along, don’t worry.” Igor said nonchalantly, everything here was as familiar to him as home.

”Oh, but I don’t know how to drive a cart!” Perkins said.

”Carts aren’t allowed inside the academy, you better take your stuff down.” Igor shrugged.

”Bring them in? That’s a lot of stuff!” Perkins thought it was terrifying. He had hired people to load it all on the cart before, and before he found the cart, he had a small trolley, but then he sold it and scraped together some more money to buy this cart...

”Alright, you’ve never been to Yonder Travel Academy, let me show you around, you don’t need to carry your luggage...”

So Igor led Perkins to the entrance of Yonder Travel Academy.

”See? There’s a track here. You just unload your stuff from the cart here, mark it with spirit symbols, and tell the guard where to send it, that’s it, you don’t need to carry it away!” Igor pointed to a track and said.

”Where to send it?” Perkins asked with curiosity, looking at the track, he was quite concerned about this because the stuff was all exchanged during his travels around the world.

”Send it to Teacher Hadi, anyway, we’re going there later to verify our theory, you can ask him for advice, haha.” Igor was very happy.

Thus, Perkins unloaded everything from the cart, a total of seven boxes, each packed full.

Perkins lost a bit of his hair, which the guard said was to mark it with spirit symbols. Perkins was curious about what a bald person would do, and the guard disdainfully glanced at Perkins, saying a bald person could leave blood, did he want to leave blood?

Perkins quickly waved his hand, no, no...

The guards at Yonder Travel Academy were not to be messed with...

Igor scratched his head, no, the guard was usually very kind, why did he feel the temper was bad?

They hadn’t talked much when the guard called out again, ”Any more stuff? If not, move along, I need my afternoon nap.”

Igor and Perkins quickly moved on, realizing the guard was annoyed because they came at the wrong time. Normally, when there were many students, the steam track was running continuously, but now it was a holiday, so it was inactive. Suddenly, these two turned up wanting to transport things, requiring the track to be started, which was a hassle.

”What about my cart...” Perkins asked again; the cart was his property, and he was reluctant to leave it.

”The cart can stay at the entrance, no one will steal it. Later, the guard will lead the horse to the stables. Yonder Travel Academy has a lot of horses over there.” Igor pointed to the northwest corner of the entrance, and indeed there was a stable...

Perkins looked around and found everything satisfactory. Yonder Travel Academy indeed seemed the right place to come.

At this moment, Governor Rostov also finished settling his cart. He and Hustace and a group of League Guards headed straight for Stan Sol, who was sitting at the gate with his eyes closed meditating.

”Should I take you now, or would you like to rest a bit longer?”

”No, in a hurry.” Stan Sol said. Actually, at this moment he was trying to perceive, he was connected through blood ties with Tobin, thus able to sense certain things.

”Alright, let’s go in to rest and have lunch, you join us.” Rostov invited Stan Sol.

”I, follow, them.” Stan Sol pointed at Perkins and Igor who were settling their cart.

”Sure!” Governor Rostov then sent his League Guard to relay the message to Igor and company to join for lunch.

Soon, the guard ran back and told the governor that this Igor fellow was ungrateful and declined lunch, saying they needed to verify something, not caring about giving face to the Lord Governor...

Rostov just looked on without comment and then said to Stan Sol: ”Then, I’ll wait for you in the academy hall. If you can’t find me, just ring the academy bell, and I...”

”I, find, it!” Stan Sol said.

Governor Rostov smiled, realizing he’d forgotten that this was an ancient hunter who could track anything, his concerns were unnecessary.

Thus, the governor and his entourage proceeded grandly to have lunch at Yonder Travel Academy.

The previously quiet academy kitchen was bound to grow lively again.

Stan Sol continued sitting at the academy entrance, needing to recover some spirit power to delve deeper.

He needed a place, a quiet place to perceive more.

Igor and the others settled the cart and headed towards Stan Sol. They were very mindful of Sol because they regarded Sol as a friend, and Igor had also promised to help Stan Sol.

”Sol, we’re going to Teacher Hadi to verify something, why don’t you come along with us?”

”Sure.” Stan Sol said straightforwardly, without any hesitation.

Inside Yonder Travel Academy, vehicles are not allowed. All paths must be walked, which wasn’t difficult for Igor and company, but it was somewhat inconvenient for Governor Rostov and his group.

Their large entourage headed to the dining hall, while Igor and company headed to a small cabin on the other side.

The small cabin was Teacher Hadi’s residence, simple but neat and tidy.

”Teacher Hadi!” Igor called excitedly even before reaching the cabin door.

An elder stepped out of the cabin, with white hair resembling a youthful spirit, like a mischievous child.

”Well, look who’s back, isn’t it the great adventurer Igor!” Teacher Hadi teased, glancing at the two strangers beside Igor.

”Teacher, please stop teasing me!”

”Not at all, I sincerely believe you could become an adventurer.” Teacher Hadi chuckled.

”I...” Igor scratched his head, unsure of what to say.

”Was that stuff delivered by the steam track yours? Wow. So many boxes!” Teacher Hadi asked Igor, seemingly interested in the boxes.

”No, not mine, they’re Perkins’s, this guy here.” Igor pointed to Perkins beside him.

”Oh, I thought so, how could a youngster like you bring all those strange things from Guru Mountain.”

”Hehe.” Igor scratched his head, ”We came to you to verify something!”
