I AM the Football Star

”GOAL! Match-winning moment! Lu Yang has clinched the game!”

”A follow-up shot scores! Lu Yang’s shot from a tight angle hit the post, but he followed up and scored himself!”

”Here’s a detail! After the shot, Lu Yang didn’t give up on rushing towards the goal. He didn’t know if the ball would rebound off the post, but his professional instinct kept his hunger for the goal alive!”

”Lu Yang is not a forward, but this season, when occasionally playing as a forward, he has shown remarkable professionalism as a striker.”

”Moreover, his goal-scoring sense is truly terrifying! No wonder he is able to score so many goals!”

”Perhaps this is why he scored sixty goals in a single season. He is a natural-born scorer!”

There were no further changes in the score of the match.

San Remo at home won three to two against Porto who visited them.

Lu Yang scored twice, securing the match-winning goal, and was awarded the best player of the match.

Morici had two assists and one goal, dominating the match, scoring the same points as Lu Yang.

Just from the data, it was evident that goals were more important than assists.

Otherwise, Morici would have been the best player of the match.

San Remo’s third highest scorer wasn’t Canyes, who provided an assist, but Kaint, which came as a bit of a surprise.

But it’s not incomprehensible.

Canyes played extremely well offensively, but the results still depend on goals, and in fact, the goals he initiated and directly participated in were not many.

This is life.

If in this match, none of Canyes’s crosses were wasted by his teammates and he had assisted three times, then the best player of the match would surely have been his.

Similarly, Kaint’s performance in neutralizing Ferreira was visibly evident, in addition to his running data and the highest number of interceptions and tackles, it’s normal for him to score high.

Moreover, Kaint’s previously criticized passing ability improved significantly in this match.

If he continues to perform at this level, his market value could easily double!

But after this match, there was a significant polarization in the evaluation of the whole match.

In the Italian media, without a doubt, there was unrestrained praise.

Why? Because in this round of the Europa League, apart from San Remo, the ”Serie A Europa League three sisters” all lost!

Especially Lazio, they got severely beaten!

They faced Arsenal who had dropped from the Champions League, thinking the opponent was an easy target.

But who knew Arsenal was also full of pent-up anger.

Spent nearly thirty million on a Tsar, and failed to progress past the Champions League group stage.

Nana in a fit of anger defeated Lazio three to zero!

Just asking, what can Lazio do to turn the situation around?

Lazio’s leading striker, Colombian international Duwan Ilich, was in tears after the game!

He knew that Lazio’s journey in European competition would most likely end once again.

Duwan Ilich, through great difficulty, finally became a star and even a first-rate star. But whether at the national team or at the club, he has never had the chance to touch the glory of championships.

He is no longer young and has about three years left in his peak years. If he still cannot win a significant championship, being called a lifetime without a title wouldn’t be unfair.

This is unacceptable for a star with ambition!

Compared to Lazio, Inter Milan also had a miserable time.

Defeated one to zero as visitors at the San Siro!

Considering the away goal of the opponent, calculated as one and a half goals, Inter’s qualification situation is equally poor.

Inter fans even angrily criticized Talista because of this.

As the team’s main forward, you don’t score, should fans not criticize you?

Talista was baffled.

Are you kidding me?

I rank in the top three for goals scored in the league!

This is my first season at Inter, my first season in Serie A.

Have you seen such a strong young forward before?

Doesn’t my performance compare well with the newcomer Gutierrez?

Doesn’t it compare with Perrotta, Carrel, and Ancelotti in their first three years of career?

I’m well on track to becoming the strongest rookie forward in Serie A history!

You’re still going to criticize?

Is it my fault that I didn’t score in this match?

Finger didn’t make a single successful through pass, and you don’t criticize him, but only criticize me?

Talista’s fiery temper lashed back at the fans: ”I don’t know how to satisfy the Inter fans, but if you criticize me when I don’t score, then I don’t need your applause when I do!”

The strained relationship between Talista and the team’s fans was nothing new.

In fact, lately, Inter’s performance had been fluctuating, with the main issue in the midfield.

It was Finger’s sporadic form that was the core problem.

Inter had realized this problem, and they began a new round of negotiations with Finger’s agent in a timely manner.

Still, it was about the contract renewal issue.

Finger was adamant about a six million euro annual salary; otherwise, he would consider transferring this summer.

Forced by circumstances, Inter finally reached a gentleman’s agreement with Finger’s agent.

If Inter could turn around in the second leg knockout stage, then Inter would accept Finger’s salary demands.

No choice, Inter had to bow down!

Currently, their top domestic star is Finger.

If for two consecutive years, the team’s top stars transferred away, it would be a huge morale blow to the team.

Both fans and players would feel uneasy about it.

And Finger, honestly, truly deserves the top salary in Serie A.

His next salary contract should have been the top salary in Serie A.

The only issue was that the previous top salary in Serie A was three million, last year it was four million, but this year it had become six million.
