I AM the Football Star

The interests of the two are in conflict.

Morici couldn’t think of how to solve these problems.

But Lu Yang showed a lot of confidence: ”I will talk to HXLT about this matter at the right time. I won’t directly sever ties with them. I hope, like AJ, everyone can earn money together.”

”Of course, I also need strong support from HXLT in all aspects. This is a process of mutual accomplishments.”

Morici applauded in amazement: ”Just hearing you say that, I even thought you won the Golden Ball Award last year instead of the Golden Boy Award!”

Clearly, Momo was mocking Lu Yang for thinking too much and being too ambitious.

But when considering the vast market behind Lu Yang and his extremely high popularity in Asia, Morici shamelessly said, ”So that’s settled, huh? I’ll be the first signed star of your personal brand then!”

”By the way, what do you plan to name your brand?”

”Miracle?”

”Sell Guest?”

”Lu Frenzy?”

”Golden Boot?”

Morici was already flattering his future boss.

Lu Yang smiled slightly; ”Simpler, keep it simple... How about LY7!”

Morici’s pupils contracted: ”Why number seven? Is this the number on your next jersey?”

Lu Yang nodded: ”Yes. Because I think number seven sounds cool!”

Morici: ”But this doesn’t match your status! You can take number ten! Even if it’s in the Italy Team, even though the current number ten jersey is Ancelotti’s, I believe the future you will take over from him!”

Lu Yang looked at Morici: ”But if I wore number ten, then what number would you wear? Number eight? While it may sound a bit harsh, I think number eight doesn’t suit you.”

Morici’s eyes reddened.

Good brother!

A lifetime!

Morici understood that as long as they were on the same team, he would never outcompete Lu Yang for jersey numbers.

Perhaps he could get number ten, but it would be only because Lu Yang wouldn’t choose number ten that he had such an opportunity.

This doesn’t mean he’s weaker than Lu Yang; in fact, Morici is the tactical core of the team.

But... as long as you’re on the same team as Lu Yang, you’ll understand, you’ll willingly let him choose first.

So, Lu Yang could choose the best number and not settle for merely a decent number seven jersey.

In Morici’s heart, number seven somehow doesn’t match Lu Yang anymore!

Aside from number ten, he thinks there’s no better choice.

”Don’t get excited; it’s not because of you,” Lu Yang said, ”Believe me, I don’t know how the current number seven jersey is, but the future number seven jersey will definitely be the world’s best-selling jersey, without exception!”

”The number ten conveys the core significance to the players. But I hope I can give the number seven a new meaning of ’representing the strongest’!”

”LY7 will be popular worldwide in the future!”

”Then you will envy me, of course. I allow you to establish M10 later! I also hope you can give more meaning to the number ten jersey!”

The two chatted as they left the club’s field.

Two players wearing over twenty numbers were discussing a significant event that would change the world football jersey number order!

The symbolic meanings of jersey numbers are many.

For example, number one is often the main goalkeeper.

Two, three, four, five, and six are mostly defenders and defensive players.

Numbers six and eight are mostly midfielders.

Number nine is the main central forward.

Football is, after all, a game of scoring. Forward players are highly prized and can easily become famous, drawing much attention.

Hence, number nine has always been one of the most fiercely contested numbers.

Number ten likewise symbolizes the core of the team, the wisest and most authoritative number representing the team.

It’s equally coveted.

Other numbers like eleven, thirteen, etc., also have top stars representing them.

But... who knows when it started, number seven gradually became a super number.

Maybe because, starting with Beckham and Ronaldinho, countless super number sevens emerged, making fans enamored with players wearing this number.

Or maybe it was the ultimate duel of seven versus ten in the Mei Luo era, further reinforcing the concept of number seven as a super number.

In any case... numbers seven and ten have become the most coveted numbers in today’s football world!

And all Lu Yang needs to do is make people realize that number seven is indeed powerful and magical!

...

February 16th, the first round of the UEFA Europa League knockout stages officially kicked off.

San Remo hosted the Portuguese Super League giant Porto!

Porto’s performance last season was not very good, as one of the top three teams in the Portuguese Super League, last season they were overshadowed by Benfica and Sporting Lisbon, ending up in third place, and thus participating in the Europa League.

But last summer, they spent 15 million euros to take away their star forward Maximiliano Ferreira from Argentina’s River Plate Football Club.

With Ferreira at the core, they reassembled the front field trident.

And Italian young star Parrot, further evolving under Ferreira’s influence, is now strongly placed at the top of the Portuguese Super League scorer list, unshakable!

So, this is a war between a Portuguese Super League giant and the ”Serie A Rookie.”

It’s also a showdown between the Portuguese Super League top scorer and the Serie B top scorer.

Moreover, it’s a battle between South American talents and the European Golden Boy!

The media has done substantial work in anticipation.
