I AM the Football Star

Chapter 621: Chapter 162: The New Italian Seven Sisters! (Part 4)

So far, Finger’s contract renewal has not been completed.

It’s reported that Finger made an exorbitant demand, asking for a super high salary of six million euros!

You should know, the previous Serie A salary cap was three million euros, and only players at the Team Spirit level could earn four million euros.

The departure of Gutierrez and AC Milan’s constantly increasing renewal offers to Izalelt have loosened this ceiling. Players like Lu Yang being able to earn three million or even 4.8 million euros has made some people ambitious.

Finger’s current annual salary is only two million euros, which is why he wants to make up for the past and ask for more now.

The attraction of the Premier League is close at hand, where salaries of two to three million are for young players.

As a core player of the team, how could he not earn six or seven million?

Thus, Finger and the team have never reached an agreement, which has certainly affected his competitive form, although he personally does not admit it.

This way, Inter being able to keep up in the league and also advance in the Europa League is really all thanks to Talista.

As a result... Talista couldn’t be the hero and got compared left and right, how could Talista be happy?

Damn it!

Seven teams advancing to the European competition knockout stage, Serie A is booming, fireworks exploding!

Countless Italian football media seem to have returned to the era of the Serie A mini World Cup, weeping tears of joy one after another.

”Serie A is still the world’s number one league!”

”The never-ending Serie A! All seven teams have entered the European competition knockout stage!”

”All advanced in the Champions League and Europa League!”

”Four Champions League teams, three Europa League teams, no relegation for the first time!”

”The new Italian Seven Sisters battle all heroes! Who can compete with Juventus, Milan, Purple Lily, Rome, San Remo, Inter, Lazio!”

”The strongest year in the post-number-one league era for Italy!”

In previous European competitions, the Premier League and La Liga have both seen the spectacle of all seven teams advancing to the European competition knockout stage.

But many of them were third-ranked Champions League teams who then entered the Europa League knockout stage.

This time in Serie A, there were no Champions League teams knocked out, which is quite impressive.

But unfortunately.

Serie A is infinitely brilliant, but only near its twilight.

Finger might have been an exception in the past, but with the emergence of the Premier League’s Golden Yuan and the financial might of the ”Super League Two Giants” Real Madrid and Barça, more players will seek high salaries.

By that time...

The biggest problem in Serie A is no longer the previous match-fixing reputation.

That was just a player’s excuse.

The biggest problem in Serie A is that teams are no longer rich, and they gradually can’t offer world-class salary levels.

And world-class players, most of them demand salaries that match their abilities.

If Serie A cannot offer that, then they will go where it can be offered.

But no matter how you say it, during this period Italian fans are the happiest.

The national team survived in dire straits, Puskás and the Golden Boy Award awarded to the Italian Second Division, and sweeping success in the European competition, what more could they ask for?

...

On December 16th, in the sixteenth round of the Italian Second Division, San Remo played away against Pordenone.

In this match, Lu Yang provided a brilliant assist.

Morici scored twice, two goals and one assist, earning the Man of the Match award.

Sogel and Bai Zhami both scored.

Canyes provided an assist.

San Remo won a large victory against their opponents, four to one.

Next, San Remo has only one match left, and the Italian Second Division will enter the winter break.

And their opponent to close out the first half is last year’s Serie A team, Sampdoria!

The two teams originally had no grudges, but since meeting in last year’s Italian Cup, a story has developed.

”I want to play the strongest” is still a pain for Sampdoria fans to this day.

Lu Yang’s arrogant goal, and his arrogant celebration indicating playing against Sampdoria was less satisfying than playing in the Italian Third Division, deeply provoked Sampdoria fans.

And unfortunately, Sampdoria was relegated, seemingly confirming Lu Yang’s taunt of ”You are not capable, let a stronger team come out.”

Coincidentally, Sampdoria is currently ranked second in the Italian Second Division standings.

A match against San Remo, although it can’t shake San Remo’s top spot at the halfway stage.

But it has significant impact on the final result of the Italian Second Division.

Therefore, this has become a focal battle in the Italian Second Division, gaining much attention.

Additionally, there is another gimmick to this match, which is the ”National Derby”!

Lu Yang, Morici, and Bernulin from San Remo are all international players of the Italy Team, with the former two being new internationals, but still count.

And Sampdoria’s Central Forward Farrela and midfield core Orma Perotti, are also substitute players for the Italy National Team, internationals as well.

Moreover, Perotti’s role in the national team overlaps with Morici’s and even Lu Yang’s at the midfield and attacking midfield positions.

Pear peers make enemies.

If it wasn’t for Lu Yang naming Morici to play, later on Vincent would have substituted Perotti for Candreva. In that case, the one to save Italy could have switched from Lu Yang and Morici to Lu Yang and Perotti!

This is a clash among Italian internationals!

This is the highest level battle of the Italian Second Division!

This is also a war about human nature!
