I AM the Football Star

Except for that last time in the Lamborghini, I really thought there was something wrong with you!

Luckily, it was just a false alarm.

November 30th, Serie B, round fourteen.

Lu Yang, with his finger wrapped in a bandage, appeared on the bench.

This made the fans at Vicenza’s home stadium cheer.

Their cheers were for Lu Yang.

Because Lu Yang is a national hero of Italy!

In this match, Vicenza performed very well.

In the first half, they scored a goal.

On San Remo’s side, Morici and Bernulin were resting, Lu Yang didn’t play either, and the team’s operation was still quite awkward.

In the 70th minute, the whole crowd applauded warmly.

Because Lu Yang was warming up.

At the 75th minute, Lu Yang came on the field, with scars still visible on his left fingers, and the right fingers wrapped in bandages.

But it was this Lu Yang who, just ten minutes after coming on, made a Shadow Ghost-level run, suddenly inserting behind Sogel, received a through ball from Versachi, and took a direct shot without pausing!

Whenever Lu Yang makes a move, a goal comes!

One to one!

San Remo tied the score away, securing another draw.

But the good news is that Monza and Sampdoria, who were behind San Remo, also only got a draw in this round, failing to close the gap with San Remo.

Bologna, ranked fourth, started losing games this round after losing Kolber, causing their ranking to slip.

The strong performance is why even though San Remo only got a draw, it didn’t provoke any dissatisfaction from the fans.

But more importantly, San Remo’s lineup is becoming complete again.

As long as Lu Yang returns, San Remo fans feel secure in their hearts.

Even if they lose, they don’t panic at all!

December 2nd.

The best player of November in Serie B was announced, and Lu Yang’s streak was interrupted.

Throughout November, Lu Yang missed many matches, and San Remo’s league performance wasn’t good, so naturally, he didn’t win the best player.

Lu Yang didn’t regret this.

But it’s a pity for Kolber.

Kolber was on fire in November, practically guaranteed to win this best player award.

However, his injury interrupted everything.

Many media outlets expressed regret for Kolber.

Some media even speculated whether Kolber could have worked miracles in the playoffs if he hadn’t been injured and was smoothly called into the Italy National Team?

Most Italian fans believe that it’s best to keep things as they are now and not overthink it.

It’s one of the marks indicating whether a person is currently happy.

Would you be willing to go back in time to change your current life?

Those who have succeeded and are happy often don’t wish to change the past.

While those who have failed are eager to return to the past, filled with countless fantasies, but we collectively call these... regrets.

A strong person doesn’t lack regrets but isn’t consumed by them.

For example...

On December 3rd, the Golden Boy Award that the entire world of football eagerly awaited was finally settled!

In an open vote from ninety-six professional football journalists worldwide, the votes for the three major candidates were revealed.

Mancini received twenty-one votes.

The failure to lead England to advance in this year’s European Youth Championship was his most criticized aspect. Especially considering the premise of ”the entire team being superstars” for England.

It’s hard to tell whether the English media’s promotion of their young stars helped or harmed them in the end.

Enriquez received twenty-five votes, and the European Youth Championship helped him greatly in surpassing Mancini.

But no one expected that Lu Yang, who was previously ranked in the top two, would have votes more than the combined total of the La Liga duo!

Fifty-four votes!

With more than fifty percent of the vote, Lu Yang unquestionably became this year’s football Golden Boy!

This was the first ”Italian Golden Boy” since the award was established!

It was also the first ”Eastern Golden Boy,” or even ”Chinese Golden Boy”!

In the football world, this award is merely recognition for talented players.

Winning doesn’t necessarily mean success, and losing doesn’t necessarily mean failure.

There will be plenty of time in the future to distinguish high from low.

But for yellow people, this Golden Boy Award holds significant meaning.

Because it represents the emergence of a super talent from a race traditionally weaker in football.

He solidified the foundation of Eastern football, allowing people to believe ”I can do it.”

Only if you believe, can you truly achieve it!

Lu Yang’s Golden Boy awarding speech was: ”In the past year, he won the Italian Third Division championship, Italian Cup championship, European Youth Championship, Italian Super Cup championship, Brit Awards, Cannes Golden Palm Award! He received multiple Golden Boot and best player honors and carried Italy into the European Cup main stage, delivering the super free-kick dubbed worth one hundred million euros—Curved Moon Blade, Lu’s Arc!”

”We cannot call him great, but we have to call him great! In the traditional footballer assessments, he is hard to be labeled a genius! But his achievements make it difficult not to call him a genius!”

”He redefined the concept of genius in the football world, he redefined running and defense. He is an ultimate scoring player, but he is also a supporting player on the field.”

”He runs selflessly to achieve his teammates, thus, his teammates also achieve him selflessly! Some refused to enter the game for him, some asked to leave the game for him! Someone placed a nation’s fate in his hands, and he used his actions to tell them, you made the right choice!”
