I AM the Football Star

The shoe surface is relatively hard!

Hard shoe surfaces are suitable for speed-type players, which make their dribbling and speed sharper.

Whereas midfielders or technical players need softer surfaces to have maximum control over the ball.

But overly soft surfaces have issues with powerful kicking, long passes, and long shots.

So choosing the right soccer shoes is very important for players.

Finding a pair that suits their technical characteristics and feels comfortable is not easy.

Normally, if a player wears shoes as hard as these by Kaint, no doubt, both their shooting and passing will become worse.

But for Kaint, who already has poor passing and shooting, these shoes can relieve him from any psychological and physical burdens in passing. He can pass boldly, execute standard movements and force, so his passes won’t be as ridiculously off as before.

As a result... these shoes actually greatly enhance his passing and shooting.

Of course!

This so-called enhancement only means that his passing and shooting reach the average midfield level.

Short pass accuracy is extremely high, long pass accuracy is relatively high.

The deviation in fast-moving passes is controlled within half a meter, unlike the previous one and a half to two meters.

Occasionally, he can even deliver an unexpectedly accurate long pass.

For long shots, at the very least, they get near the goal.

From the perspective of main-level professional players in the Five Major Leagues, these are the basic should-dos, possibly even better.

But Kaint, with this level of passing and shooting ability, already has Sotu nearly content.

Too perfect!

This way, Kaint is almost like a slightly better defensive Lu Yang, but considerably inferior in other aspects, the ”bankrupt version” of Lu Yang!

Such a player is simply too perfect!

This evaluation made Lu Yang realize how high his status is in Sotu’s mind.

If even the bankrupt version of Lu Yang is considered perfect.

Then what about me, the genuine Lu Yang who is still improving all over?

Lu Yang did a good deed and felt happy!

However, Morici had complaints about this.

”Why didn’t you let HXLT sign me?” Morici was very upset!

Although he also has a ”child labor shoe contract” with Nike, that contract will expire next year.

By then, Morici will definitely secure a valuable shoe deal.

He is already one of the rising stars attracting fans’ attention across Europe.

Never mind comparing to Lu Yang’s insane four to five million euros a year, Morici’s expected price for the next contract is at least between 1.5 to 2 million euros.

Looking into Lu Yang’s connections, Morici might even consider HXLT.

Rejecting Ah Ke and Nike is an unwise and bold choice for a young player.

Morici is willing to do this for Lu Yang.

However... Lu Yang invited Kaint!

So love disappears, doesn’t it?

”Relax, isn’t your contract expiring soon? If you are willing, wait for a go-ahead from me. I assure you will get a very valuable shoe contract in the future,” Lu Yang comforted Morici. ”One that exceeds your imagination.”

Morici didn’t believe this nonsense, he’s not as gullible as that dumb Sofia, easily deceived by Lu Yang. ”But you helped Kaint with Fifty thousand of penalty fees! My penalty fee is only One million, I can pay it myself!”

Lu Yang was speechless: ”This isn’t about penalty fees. Signing Kaint is HXLT’s business, but I wish to sign Morici through Lu!”

Morici was full of questions.

”Do you know AJ?” Lu Yang asked.

In the next moment, Morici shivered all over, with hairs standing on end.

”Are you crazy? You want to launch a personal brand?” Morici was incredulous.

What does it mean to have a personal brand?

This isn’t the era where anyone can just start a personal brand.

At this stage, there are only two paths to launching a personal brand.

First, become a God in your sport!

Like the God of basketball.

At the very least, you have to be a demigod to even bring it up to brand companies.

Otherwise, everyone will just find it funny.

Second, start from scratch, not relying on big brand channels.

But the second path is a dead-end because traditional giant sports brands as vested interests won’t allow new brands to be born and developed.

Domestically and internationally, old brands might be reborn.

But new brands absolutely have no chance.

Do you really think the tens of billions spent annually by Ah Ke and Nike on major global sports projects are in vain?

They have profound significance beyond just advertising and economic value.

Ah Ke can manipulate the NBA’s FMVP and many awards.

Nike can collaborate with clubs to influence World Footballer of the Year, Golden Ball Award, Golden Boy Award, and other personal awards in competitions.

Even the Chinese Super League and the National Team, as well as many domestic sports projects, don’t dare to defy because they receive billions in funding sponsorship and high-value equipment sponsorships from them annually.

These are influences on other levels.

So Morici was shocked by Lu Yang’s comments.

HXLT caught hold of Lu Yang, making a breakthrough in Europe.

But even for such a ”small brand,” agreeing for Lu Yang to establish a personal brand is unlikely.
