I AM the Football Star

Chapter 438: Chapter 123: All Stars, Let’s Get Hyped (Part 2)

Though Raisim is a substitute in the England Youth Team, and also a substitute at the Manchester City Club.

But he was actually once a promising star for Manchester United.

There is film evidence to prove, in his childhood, he has taught several superstar players! To the extent that one of these stars, at the age of thirty-six, chose to return to Manchester United to pave the way for Jesse!

His dribbling may be clumsy, but he always manages to pull off incredible maneuvers.

His positioning may be incomprehensible, but he always, inadvertently, receives the ball.

His shooting may lack logic, but he always miraculously finds the net.

His match attitude is very upright, never stingy with his running, earning him the reputation of England’s Ironman.

No matter how tough the game gets, his face always radiates with a smile, bringing football back to its original meaning... joy!

The joyful football tactician Jesse Raisim, after transferring from Manchester United to the local arch-rival, is being nurtured by Manchester City with a core role in mind.

As expected, in the future, he will certainly lead the Blue Moon (nickname of Manchester City Club) to glory, oh no...

Almost cross-referenced there.

Just how astonishing is Raisim?

In the ninth minute of the game, he showed the Italians some real skill.

England’s top young star Mancini is extremely fast, after receiving the ball, he pushed past Morici, leaving Momo with no chance to even tug at his shirt.

Mancini, when he doesn’t have the ball, nothing happens, but once he gets it, it almost means a serious test for the Italian defence has begun.

Italian left-back Nikluci tried to place pressure on Mancini, waiting for Morici and others to return and defend.

But Mancini gave him no chance, directly dribbling the ball towards Nikluci.

Nikluci had no other choice but to face him head-on.

Then, Mancini performed a series of stepovers, cutting the ball inwards, directly bypassing Nikluci, who was by no means a poor defender.

Nikluci was almost shaken to the ground.

The same as stepovers, some players do it with no fear from others.

But some, even with just one or two moves, can scare a person to death.

Because stepovers are not just a technical foot movement.

The real dribble king, eyes, face direction, expression, shoulder direction, body turning direction, the change in posture when the leg lifts, and the force when touching the ball, everything is part of the act, impossible to defend against.

Any time Messi touches the ball, it’s considered a technical attempt to dribble past, that’s the reason.

Bam!

This time Cortino closed in quickly, and Lam also rushed out in time, the two forming a surrounding stance.

Mancini, with high football intelligence, glanced at Raisim who was helping out on the flank, and without hesitation, transferred the ball before Cortino made his move.

On the right flank, Raisim received the ball, but he didn’t expect Mancini to pass it to him.

Me, Jesse Raisim, although handsome and skilled, truly lack ambition, my intention was to diligently position myself, helping Mancini on the flank, nothing more.

So when Raisim received the ball, he had already reached the vicinity of the baseline, theoretically leaving little room for operation.

Pirola approached swiftly, ready to push Raisim out of the baseline.

Pirola’s physical strength posed no problem for him against a Raisim.

However... Manchester’s young prince Jesse Raisim presented his ingenuity.

He pulled the ball and stepped on it, performing half a Marseille Turn, dodging Pirola’s tackle.

Then he promptly stepped away, avoiding most of the impact brought by Pirola, crouched and squeezed out beneath Pirola’s armpit.

With just a flick of his foot.

The ball flew into the penalty area, but it wasn’t a cut-back pass.

Instead... it was passed for himself in a second later!

Bam!

Utilizing explosive speed to shake off Pirola, Raisim caught up with the ball, a powerful left-foot strike.

Bear in mind, his current position was about two meters from the baseline on the right side of the penalty area, theoretically even a left-footed shot angle was less than fifteen percent.

Using expected goal value for this shot, the probability of a goal is below ten percent.

However...

Raisim is Raisim, never playing by the rules.

Everyone says passing is better from this position?

Alright, then I’ll shoot.

And then... the ball went in.

Areola did his best to expand his defensive area, but still failed to reach the ball.

Truth be told, the personal abilities of these England stars are just absurd!

Any one of them going into beast mode can pose a fatal threat to the goal.

Today definitely marks a major test for Areola.

”GOAL! Jesse! The great Jesse has scored again! I always said he has superstar capabilities, he never should have been on the bench!”

”A magnificent and wonderful goal! Jesse Raisim at this moment seemed possessed by Premier League stars, his flashy and agile dribbling was no less than Mancini’s, and his powerful shot crushed the confidence of Italy!”

”Less than ten minutes into the game, the England Team has already scored a goal, they’re unstoppable!”

”Italy Team is in trouble, they previously boasted that England isn’t strong, but now they are falling behind...”

”One must admit, in that just scored goal, Mancini’s performance was truly outstanding! Italy Team’s left-back couldn’t withstand Mancini’s assault, I have a hunch Mancini will do wonders in this match!”

”No wonder Raisim was being contested by two major Premier League teams like Liverpool, in the future, he is bound to become a football superstar!”
