I AM the Football Star

Chapter 420: Chapter 119: The Twin Prodigies Script Behind the Sky-High Transfer (Part 4)

Similarly, Shanghai Port Football Club also reached out to Sanremo Football Club immediately, expressing their willingness to provide everything Sanremo needed, including a high-standard sparring team.

Serie A and Chinese football are both being changed by a young player.

...

In fact, this summer not only Serie A has been influenced by young talents, but the entire European football has been repeatedly shocked by young players.

If the fact that Lu Yang being selected for the Italy National Youth Team seemed like a joke to other fans.

If Gutierrez’s transfer to Chelsea represented Serie A being hammered to the ground by the Premier League’s cash.

Then soon, La Liga showed the Premier League what world-class attraction truly means.

England’s top youth star, Premier League Everton star player, and the genius player ranked second for the Golden Boy Award, Dario Mancini, transferred to La Liga’s Barcelona for a staggering forty million euros.

For a moment, there was chaos within the Premier League.

Arsenal stated that Everton was practically fixated on money, absolutely losing face for the Premier League!

The Premier League is all about money, yet you went and sold the Premier League’s future star to La Liga for money?

Don’t you know that La Liga and the Premier League are currently at the forefront of the rise?

You’re aiding the enemy!

Manchester United also expressed strong dissatisfaction with Everton, despite the clubs being arch-nemeses, Manchester United still expressed willingness to offer over thirty million euros to buy Mancini this year.

Who knew Everton wasn’t willing, then reversed their decision and sold Mancini to La Liga.

Everton couldn’t express their grievances.

With their relationship with Manchester United, if they dared to sell a player to Manchester United, the fans would storm Everton’s stadium clean.

In an unequal rivalry, the weaker side often cares more.

So even though Manchester United does not consider Everton a mortal enemy, Everton fans recognize this rivalry.

Moreover, Mancini, for some reason, although he’s English, had a childhood dream of Barcelona, always liked them.

Plus, Barcelona also has Mancini’s only competitor, Real Madrid’s Enriquez. Under his agent’s instigation, Mancini already had the concept of the legendary pair.

Going to Barça, he can create legends with Enriquez from Real Madrid, the two in a league of their own.

Staying in the Premier League, he’d be seen by his peers as the ultimate boss, always seen as an imagined enemy, with a high chance of reputational downfall. Moreover, the risk of getting injured in the Premier League is far higher than in La Liga.

Therefore, after weighing all options, Mancini refused purchase offers from numerous Premier League giants and chose Barcelona.

This also made him the most captivating young player before the European Youth Championship!

Regarding this transfer, almost everyone, including Lu Yang and Maniero, believed...

”Mancini is very smart! This kind of player has a very promising future.” Maniero, as the creator of the ”lifelong rival” concept, never imagined someone could elevate his script to a ”legendary pair” story!

”In the long run, he and Enriquez will both achieve greatness together, as long as neither of them significantly falls behind.” Lu Yang also spoke, but he immediately shifted his focus, ”However, in the short term, this may not be beneficial for Mancini and Enriquez, especially Mancini!”

Mancini, having just completed such a grand transfer, being this summer’s transfer runner-up and top youth player transfer, will have countless eyes on his future debut at Barcelona.

He must prepare in advance for his performance at Camp Nou, at the very least, he needs to avoid injury during the European Youth Championship.

And for any forward player, excessively avoiding injury risks means losing the sharpness a killer should have.

Similarly, Enriquez, who is about to meet his lifelong rival, will also be affected.

It can be said that this major transfer before the European Youth Championship is beneficial for Italy and Poland, who are in the same group.

The European Youth Championship is thus on the verge of igniting!
