Chapter 131: Chapter 131: Blood Frenzy

”True Knowledge” information changed again.

[Half Twisted Humans (Extraordinary): Blood Frenzy Tier Nine (Upper Rank), injured, bloodthirsty. Their strength gradually increases with injury.]

Su Changxing saw the strong long-haired man being knocked to the ground with a kick, and frowned.

Even though he’d already sensed that this Hunter’s abilities likely went beyond what had been shown before, he was still somewhat amazed at the capabilities of the Blood Frenzy.

Their power increases significantly.

This Blood Frenzy’s speed is already close to his, strength might be the same, and this might not be their limit.

Without much thought, Su Changxing shot another arrow at the Long Scar Hunter, then supported himself on one hand to flip out of a window, pulled, kicked, and slid a distance along the wall to steadily land on the street.

He estimated that if he didn’t go down, the people below would likely all be slaughtered by this Hunter.

This Blood Frenzy might be stronger than the previous Precisionist.

Long Scar Hunter seemed to sense and dodged the flying arrow, with his Perception Ability greatly enhanced, he could clearly discern the arrow’s path.

Long Scar Hunter swung his sword at another man in a gray coat who was engaged in combat with a Hunter wielding a wooden crossbow.

The man in the gray coat had no room to dodge or block, as some gray substance spread visibly across his skin like a layer of mist, appearing thin but managing to block the blade.

It felt like hitting cotton, without sound or impact, although the gray substance faded significantly.

The man’s face suddenly turned pale, evidently uncomfortable.

Long Scar Hunter didn’t pause, when one strike was ineffective, he swung his sword again toward the opponent, generating a heavy pressure of wind in the air.

He felt anxious, wanting to quickly reduce the enemy, the pressure from the one lurking in the shadows was too overwhelming.

Suddenly, a flash of lightning appeared to his side like a thread, as the short-haired man in leather attempted to stop him.

Long Scar Hunter had no intention of retreating, kept swinging his sword at the target, only slightly shifted to the side.

He had realized earlier that the short-haired man’s lightning was very limited, with a small radiation range, so avoiding it shouldn’t be too problematic.

”It’s over.”

The short-haired man in leather spoke despairingly, having not anticipated Long Scar Hunter would use speed to bypass his laid-out lightning.

However, there was nothing to be done, as his superpower needed a brief delay before activation, making it easy to evade once seen through.

”Clang~”

The man in the gray coat was effortlessly disarmed by Long Scar Hunter and stabbed in the abdomen; the gray substance blocked some impact, but he was still sent flying by the immense force.

Su Changxing noticed Long Scar Hunter’s movements accelerated a bit, estimating that his injuries worsened during movement, thereby enhancing his strength.

Seeing Long Scar Hunter’s expressionless demeanor, he probably felt no pain at all.

This seemed like a very dangerous position; one careless move and he would kill himself.

Su Changxing deftly dodged the incoming crossbow arrows, arriving next to Zhang Daxi, and during Long Scar Hunter’s assault on the gray-clad man, swung his sword at his back.

The Hunter with the wooden crossbow discarded the crossbow, drew a short knife from his waist, and slashed towards Su Changxing.

Everything happened dynamically.

Su Changxing had to halt his attack, change direction, and slash at the Explorer.

The Explorer previously left an impression due to strong Perception Ability, which meant they had strong judgment skills, able to assess Su Changxing’s strength.

When facing a formidable enemy, retreating was certainly the best choice.

Su Changxing swung the sword halfway, feigned a thrust, then suddenly changed direction again and slashed at Long Scar Hunter, while the Explorer retreated due to the pressure Su Changxing exerted.

The Explorer’s expression darkened, realizing they had been tricked by Su Changxing again, but it was now too late to stop him.

But the problem shouldn’t be significant...

A smile appeared on his face, knowing Long Scar Hunter’s power was terrifying, possibly one day surpassing the leader.

Su Changxing slashed towards Long Scar Hunter’s back, confident of success in killing him.

But as the blade almost touched the opponent, Long Scar Hunter’s body twisted rapidly in a bizarre manner, unanticipatedly dodging Su Changxing’s attack.

Su Changxing was slightly startled, using the previous momentum, reversed the blade and continued slashing at the opponent.

”Quite fast.”

Long Scar Hunter flashed a slight admiring smile, as he took a small retreat, twisted his upper body backward, narrowly avoiding Su Changxing’s strike.

Though not entirely dodged, Su Changxing still managed to cut a shallow wound across his chest.

Su Changxing estimated that the opponent’s strength should be similar to his, yet since the opponent was heavily injured, even due to the position, he likely couldn’t sustain fighting.

His advantage remained significant.

This type of evasion seemed to be technique-based, similar to martial arts and such.

Long Scar Hunter took the opportunity to slash at Su Changxing, instantly switching from defense to offense.

Su Changxing didn’t retreat, raised his sword to clash directly; he enjoyed this pure test of power, as their weapons collided.

A fierce force transmitted from the sword hilt.

Indeed, the opponent’s strength was less than his.

Su Changxing made judgments based on this feeling, pressing the sword forward, countered, then swung another strike.

In an advantageous position, he wouldn’t allow the opponent to have any breathing room.

Long Scar Hunter retreated, avoiding Su Changxing’s offensive.

Yet Su Changxing relentlessly pressed further, in pursuit, executing another slash diagonally downward.

”Clang~”

Once again both blades collided.

Su Changxing couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow, surprised that the opponent’s strength now matched his, even had a slight edge.

In just a few seconds, Long Scar Hunter’s power significantly increased, the position effect continuously playing out.

A moment of concern emerged in Su Changxing’s heart; at this rate, it wouldn’t be long before the opponent could potentially overpower him.

Though Long Scar Hunter was seriously hurt, he wouldn’t die instantly; if his strength soon overwhelmed Su Changxing, he would be in danger.

”Die, you pigs from Otherworld.”

Long Scar Hunter displayed a manic smile, Su Changxing’s power exceeded his expectations; in this state, his injuries reached a point of no recovery without treatment, fleeing wasn’t an option anymore.

Only by slaying Su Changxing could he heal and survive.

Blood Frenzy thrives in blood, revels in blood, reborn in blood.
