A Warm Marriage After Rebirth

Chapter 169: Chapter 169: Bestial Outburst (2)

The eccentric doctor had just finished a mission and was planning to blow off some steam. He figured he’d hit a nightclub and have some fun, but an unexpected call from his superior ruined all his plans.

Annoyed as he was, the eccentric doctor grabbed his medical kit and sped toward Terrence Grant’s villa. It had to be a life-or-death situation; otherwise, the young master would never have called him.

The eccentric doctor had braced himself for any number of tricky situations, but when he saw Seraphina Sterling lying on the wide, soft bed, he was at a loss for words.

’Isn’t this the young master’s student? What is she doing here? And in the young master’s bed, no less? And why is the young master—who’s always so arrogant and domineering, no matter the situation—looking so anxious? I should take a picture of his expression right now and show it to the others. They’d never believe me otherwise!’

”She fainted suddenly. See what’s wrong with her.” Terrence Grant completely ignored the confusion in the eccentric doctor’s eyes, showing no intention of explaining.

The eccentric doctor could only suppress his confusion and begin the examination.

But just as he reached out to unbutton Seraphina Sterling’s shirt, Terrence Grant grabbed his wrist. ”What do you think you’re doing?”

”I’m examining her. I have to check her injuries to know her condition,” the eccentric doctor said, not knowing what to make of this. ’Back when Mermaid was injured on that mission, she was practically naked, and the young master didn’t say a word. Now I’m just undoing a single button, and he’s this tense?’

’Something’s off. Very off! Could it be... are they really in *that* kind of relationship, just like I suspected?’

Terrence Grant’s brows furrowed deeply. ”As my personal physician, your skills could use some improvement! Even a simple examination is this much trouble for you!” ’Maybe I should consider hiring a few female doctors,’ he thought.

The eccentric doctor was speechless. ’My dear young master, I’m not a traditional Chinese physician who can diagnose an illness just by feeling a pulse! And even they need to look at the afflicted area!’ He didn’t dare say this out loud, though. He had no desire to become a sparring partner.

”My preliminary diagnosis is that Miss Sterling suffered a forceful impact, causing severe internal shock and a rush of blood to her head. Then she was deprived of oxygen for an extended period, which is why she passed out!”

The doctor rattled off his conclusion, eager to prove his exquisite medical skills.

Terrence Grant felt a pang of guilt upon hearing this. ’The kiss might have gone on for a little long,’ he thought, ’but surely not long enough to make her faint?’

The eccentric doctor then noticed Seraphina Sterling’s slightly red and swollen lips, and a shocking realization struck him like a bolt of lightning. ’Don’t tell me the young master lost control and... did her until she passed out! But she’s still just a kid, isn’t she? Such an unripe fruit... the young master actually went for it?’

It had to be said, the eccentric doctor wasn’t far from the truth. If Seraphina Sterling hadn’t suddenly fainted, Terrence Grant would not have stopped so easily.

”Young master, we should get her to a hospital as soon as possible! Engaging in this kind of activity before a girl is fully developed is extremely damaging to her body. You have to be especially careful if there’s any bleeding or tearing. If it’s not treated properly, it could easily leave psychological scars. And if she ends up becoming frigid, well, that’ll affect your future happiness in bed!”

The eccentric doctor shot a sympathetic glance at Seraphina Sterling. ’The young master is so intense... how could her small frame possibly handle it? But he’s also such a beast, putting her through such vigorous exercise when she’s already injured, without even considering if her body could take it! Worrying now that she’s passed out... isn’t it a little too late for that?’
