Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 198: Chapter 198: Points Exchange Temporarily Open

As an ancient hero summoned forth, Wenresa has made significant contributions to the development of the territory recently.

Especially during the recent burrow challenges, it was entirely reliant on her personal command.

Heroes have much greater growth potential than soldiers, almost equivalent to a little lord, possessing many of the lord’s privileges. They are the talent urgently needed for territory expansion and development.

Granting her this [Horned Eagle Battle Bow] will undoubtedly allow her to maximize its potential.

In addition to this battle bow, there are also two quivers, all filled with fine-quality barbed arrows that can add an additional 10 points of piercing damage. One of the quivers only has 24 arrows left, while the other is still full.

Zong Shen gathered them all, considering them consumable supplies that would be redistributed upon returning to the territory.

The two Ranger Sisters looked enviously at the battle bow, but alas, there was only one bow, making it difficult to distribute.

Zong Shen planned to wait until he obtained better bows and arrows before outfitting the sisters accordingly.

The other equipment mostly included refined-level gear from ordinary Spider Web Monster Warriors and excellent-level equipment from the Spider Prophets. Zong Shen picked out some of the better-preserved fine-level light armor for the Wolf Cavalry.

Their leather armor was in terrible condition, and these light armors fitted them perfectly.

All this armor was uniformly fine-level Elf Light Armor, part of the standard equipment for Tier Two Warriors of the Elf Race. It seemed these Spider Web Monsters must have found them from the relics within the mining tunnels. The armor value was 10 points higher than the original leather armor of the Wolf Cavalry.

This light armor is a one-size-fits-all piece, with adjustable buckles at the back and waist to fit various body types.

Zong Shen stored away the other equipment.

The Wolf Cavalry, now in light armor, gained a change in demeanor, shedding a bit of their ruggedness and gaining majesty, looking rather impressive.

In the future, once the territory has a complete military industry system, they will be able to forge standard equipment unique to their territory.

At that time, it will be possible to uniformly re-equip all soldiers and promptly repair and replace damaged equipment.

For now, most equipment is still obtained through exploration and combat spoils.

Zong Shen stored all the equipment into the storage grid, and the wound under his ribs no longer hurt as much.

Only during intense movements did he still feel a noticeable tearing sensation.

He stood up slowly from the poolside, ready to lead his subordinates to explore the mining area dormitory.

Suddenly, his vision brightened sharply, and a white light engulfed his entire field of view.

The light dissipated instantly, and everything around him froze; all the soldiers halted where they stood.

That kind of time-space freeze happened again, just like when the newbie stage ended and the official period began.

Before Zong Shen, a light curtain started to manifest, with lines of information jumping out.

The current time was exactly noon, the second night and third day of the burrow challenge, also when the burrow monsters were about to ascend to Level Three difficulty.

[Burrow Challenge begins after 48 hours, temporarily opening the first points exchange marketplace]

[Each exchange marketplace offers different items for exchange]

[Duration: 30 minutes]

[After the announcement ends, a Time Stop exclusive exchange time of 10 minutes will be provided to all lords]

[Please remember, every effort in this world will be rewarded]

The subtitle information was brief but dense. From noon on the first day to today’s noon, exactly 48 hours had passed, and the intensity of the burrow monsters was about to shift to Level Three. During this burrow challenge period, most lords couldn’t normally collect and explore, with survival pressure mounting daily.

Temporarily opening points exchange was undoubtedly a lifesaving opportunity for all lords in dire need.

Most lords had gathered some points over the past days, ranging from two to three hundred to one or two thousand.

The opening of the points exchange was to quickly convert these points into survival resources, improving survival chances, and encouraging all lords to vigorously slay burrow monsters, enhancing their resolve to face the burrow challenges.

If you want to become stronger, if you want to survive, you must bravely fight!

The light curtain slowly vanished, replaced by a ten-minute countdown.

The surrounding warriors remained in a state of suspension,

this is the so-called time stop state. In this state, Zong Shen cannot move, only his consciousness remains active.

With a thought, he summoned the [Cave Points] option, inside which a new [Points Exchange] sub-option appeared, with a countdown of 29 minutes and 43 seconds attached.

At this moment, his points had already reached as many as 13,469. This represented that at least several thousand ordinary and elite burrow monsters had been taken down by Zong Shen and his soldiers.

Now the only question is, what is the exchange rate for these points.

Zong Shen excitedly opened [Points Exchange], and a light screen unfolded, showing five major options.

[Resource Materials], [Weapon Equipment], [Defense Blueprint], [Support Items], and [Points Lottery].

These five major options basically covered most of the material choices, and even included a lottery option to test one’s luck, though there was no option to exchange for soldier recruitment.

Zong Shen first opened [Material Resources], which besides containing basic materials like wood, stone, and hemp, also allowed for exchange of basic elemental crystals and basic runes of various attributes.

point could exchange for 5 wood, 5 hemp, 5 stone, or 2 iron, 5 points could exchange for 1 copper, 15 points could exchange for 1 piece of secret silver, 20 points could exchange for one basic elemental crystal or one basic-level magic energy crystal, 25 points could exchange for 1 basic rune, and further up were materials such as gem powder, basic gemstones, refined gold, etc., with exchange prices correspondingly increasing.

Overall, this ratio is still acceptable, after all, chopping down a small tree on the grassland is equivalent to 2 units of wood, and the risk and reward of killing a whiteboard burrow monster are roughly the same.

Zong Shen’s current points are enough to exchange for tens of thousands of basic resources, but he does not intend to exchange, because he does not lack resources.

Moon God Spring Water is very popular with a high demand among the lords, just selling Moon God Spring and the stockpile of equipment on hand is sufficient to exchange for the resources needed for territorial development and construction.

Coupled with Zong Shen’s territory having quite a few farmers and Dogman Miners, with the acquisition of the Burden-Bearer Mecha, overall collection efficiency has improved significantly, capable of maintaining necessary collection even during the burrow challenges, with stable daily resource income.

Thus, he closed that option and opened the [Weapon Equipment] option.

The available equipment here ranges from ordinary level to excellent level, and apart from accessories, it included various weapons and equipment, including arrows and crossbow arrows, as well as common throwing weapons such as flying knives, javelins, and throwing axes.

However, there were no special gimmicks like goblin bombs.

Ordinary quality equipment exchange price is 30 points, refined quality is 60 points, excellent quality is 120 points, which is about 25% lower compared to the previous [Market] resource exchange rate for equipment.

Consumables like arrows and other throwing weapons of the same quality are priced at one-fifth of the equipment.

But this is also normal, as [Market] prices simply reflect the lord’s needs.

Zong Shen eyed an excellent-level sabre, [Sharp Grassland Saber (Blue)], which had impressive slashing damage and perfect durability, and came with two attack skills, one being a high-level Cavalry Saber Slash, and the other Armor-Breaking Blade Qi with an additional 10 armor break effect, suitable for wolf cavalry use. Zong Shen directly consumed 1440 points to exchange for twelve pieces, firstly re-equipping Wolf Rider Squad One.

This excellent-level equipment is quite expensive; otherwise, Zong Shen would really want to re-equip all the wolf cavalry.

Then he consumed 480 points to exchange for four [Ironwood Longbows (Blue)], prepared for the four Dragon-kin Rangers, and Mapple and Madeleine could equip them on the spot.

Additionally, he exchanged for 100 sets of whiteboard arrows, 30 sets of whiteboard crossbow arrows, 25 sets of fine arrows, 10 sets of fine crossbow arrows, 5 sets of excellent arrows, 2 sets of excellent crossbow arrows, 32 sets of fine throwing spears, spending a total of 1752 points.

This was his preparation for weapon supplies for the upcoming burrow challenge, and to initially re-equip the most combat-consuming Wolf Rider Squad One.

This batch of arrows is also sufficient to handle a prolonged battle.

This wave of equipment exchanges consumed a total of 3672 points, and this was Zong Shen intentionally holding back himself, otherwise, he would still want to exchange for more equipment.

The items exchanged would all appear directly in his storage grid, which was very convenient.

Zong Shen suppressed the impulse to splurge and opened the next option, [Building Blueprint].

This contained only construction blueprints for defense buildings, covering common defense buildings from Tier One to Tier Four, all complete constructions, requiring no resource expenses to build upon matching.

Of course, the exchange prices are also not cheap. Take the Tier One Elemental Arrow Tower for example, one tower requires 350 points, and Zong Shen roughly calculated, the building materials equated to about 200 points, leaving a premium of about 150 points.

The Tier Two Elemental Arrow Tower requires 750 points, because when constructing Tier Two buildings normally, it requires a Tier One of the same building as a base, so the building materials take up about 540 points, leaving a premium of 210 points.

The Tier Three Elemental Arrow Tower requires 1650 points, the Tier Four Elemental Arrow Tower requires 3500 points.

Although these are all complete blueprints requiring no resources or prerequisites, the points exchange prices have evidently been predetermined.

Besides Elemental Arrow Towers, there are also many other types of arrow towers, but the prices and defense attributes are about the same, and additionally, there are blueprints for walls, road barriers, and the like available for exchange.

Zong Shen skimmed over them, made some calculations in his mind, and couldn’t help but feel a bit disappointed.
