Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 170: Chapter 170: Goblin Airship

Zong Shen stroked his chin.

He pondered whether to take a test flight since he had never ridden a Goblin Airship before.

Judging by the style of the balloon, this was a soft-style airship.

The airship’s cabin was basket-type, with two sets of blade wheels mounted on each side.

Thinking about this, he gazed over, ready to check the specific parameters and attributes of the airship.

[Goblin Airship (Purple)]

[Quality: Rare Level]

[Durability Value: 3500]

[Armor Value: 40]

[Maximum Load: 15 tons]

[Maximum Occupancy: 55]

[Max Speed: 86 kilometers per hour]

[Maximum Flying Altitude: 4000 meters]

[Magic Energy Consumption per Second: 5 points]

[Durability: 873]

[Skills: Cruise Control lv10 (The airship will maintain a constant speed for cruising, reducing magic energy consumption by 15%)

Sound Wave Exorcism lv10 (The airship can emit bird-repellant sonic waves to deter birds flying nearby)

High-speed Blade Wheel lv10 (Activates the blade wheels on both sides of the cabin, causing 300 points of cutting damage to surrounding enemies, increasing magic energy consumption by 4 points per second)

Passive Skills: Energy Saving (Reduces magic energy consumption by 30%)]

(The Goblin Airship is an efficient flying tool that can ignore terrain and avoid most aerial dangers, though many raptors and flying monsters can still threaten the airship)

Zong Shen walked around the Goblin Airship, observing that there was a pair of retractable sails on each side of the leather balloon made from Earth Beast, as well as slightly smaller guiding sailboards at the tail and top.

This thing required 5 magic energy points per second once started, and even after the passive energy-saving reduction, it required 3.5 points per second. A Basic-level Magic Energy Crystal could only power it for less than half a minute.

Zong Shen had just obtained quite a few Magic Energy Crystals today, so maintaining the consumption of these magical devices was not an issue.

With money in his pockets, there was no need to worry, so he decided to see how this Goblin Airship would fly. With this, he took out a Communication Crystal and asked Korby to bring over the drivers of the two Goblin Rippers.

Today, they were not sent to chop wood but were instead patrolling the area to take out the roaming Burrow Monsters; the patrol range had already expanded beyond the city walls.

With the cooperation of the Arrow Towers in the territory, the outskirts were divided into two patrol teams, the highly mobile Wolf Cavalry acting as the mobile team and additional infantry providing reinforcement, circling around the territory’s perimeter.

After Korby’s notification, they quickly returned piloting the Tearing Demon Energy Armor to the area outside the small courtyard.

From hundreds of meters away, Zong Shen heard the cries of the two goblin drivers.

”Oh my gosh! Lord!”

”It’s actually a Goblin Airship!”

”You didn’t rob the Hot Sand Group’s airship base, did you?!”

The two goblin drivers shouted boisterously as they swiftly came up to Zong Shen and respectfully got off the mecha to greet him.

Then they ran around this Goblin Airship, observing it from all angles.

”This is the emblem of Thistle Teeth City; it’s indeed the Hot Sand Group’s airship!”

The two goblins gazed at the emblem on the cabin, speaking excitedly.

The two major forces of the goblins are the Hot Sand Group and the Rust Water Financial Group.

They are controlled by different Goblin Princes, belonging to a corporate structure, each having several bases which different goblin financiers and nobles separately manage.

Thistle Teeth City belongs to the Hot Sand Group; its City Lord is named Gazlowe, who was once the Chief Engineer of all Durotar engineering.

Overall, the Hot Sand Group is a relatively neutral goblin force.

The Rust Water Financial Group is more friendly toward Orc forces and interacts less with the Human Race; these are ancient forces transmitted down through the ages.

However, whether goblins or orcs, their strength has diminished significantly compared to ten thousand years ago, yet fortunately, this continent is vast and not lacking in land.

But almost all of the fertile lands in various areas of the continent are now occupied by several indigenous Human Race Kingdoms.

At this time, the two goblins were jumping around, enthusiastically examining the airship’s structure, excited to see the magic energy equipment of their own tribe here.

”Can you operate this thing?”

Zong Shen walked over and asked the two excited goblins.

”Um...”

”Dear Lord, let us take a look inside the cockpit; I think it should be no problem.”

”During the bygone Dimensional War, all magic energy mecha pilots were required to have at least an Intermediate level driving certification.”

The two goblins patted their chests, confidently replying.

With Zong Shen’s permission, they opened the cockpit, and Zong Shen followed them from behind, bending slightly to enter through the hatch.

This airship was entirely manufactured according to the goblin’s stature, with the hatch only being 1.6 meters high, requiring a slight bow to enter.

Luckily, the cabin wasn’t too short; to ensure loading efficiency, the cabin reached a height of 3 meters.

Upon entering the cabin, the front-most area was a cockpit, looking similar to the cockpit of a yacht.

There were glass portholes on both sides, with large semi-panoramic windows inside the cockpit, and even some observation positions installed below the deck.

In the middle of the cockpit were the instrument panel and helm, along with the acceleration power lever, night lights, and landing switch.

Zong Shen took out ten Magic Energy Crystals and handed them over, then stood behind observing how they operated.

”Hmm...”

”Pierce, come over here, look; the cockpit of this airship seems somewhat different from our airship back in the day.”

”Fool, the driver’s manual says goblins always set the start switch in the most obvious place!”

”We should first...”

...

These two goblins were clearly somewhat amateur, yet they had some degree of experience.

Near the helm was the slot for inserting Magic Energy Crystals; after inserting the Magic Energy Crystals, they pulled the long lever next to it to start the Magic Energy Core.

”Vroom...”

The built-in turbo fan was activated, beginning to compress air to inflate the balloon.

The balloon lying on the ground outside began to visibly expand.

Several minutes later, the balloon was already twice the size of the cabin, but inflation was not yet complete.

”Lord, the magic energy is running low...”

One of the goblins turned to report.

Zong Shen grabbed another handful of Magic Energy Crystals and handed them over.

Finally, after spending about ten minutes, the balloon was fully inflated, expanding to five times the size of the cabin.

It’s said that even this was not the balloon’s maximum inflation limit.

Depending on the load, the degree of inflation also varied.

”Lord, hold onto the handlebars near you; we’re about to take off.”

”This is Pilot Pierce and Carlos!”

”There might be some bumpiness during takeoff!”

The two goblins said as they pushed the thrust lever for the turbo fan.

”Boom!”

The balloon overhead began to glow; this was the Wind Spirit Gemstone inside the balloon taking effect.

The retractable sails on either side of the balloon slowly unfolded halfway, and the vessel shook violently before gradually beginning to ascend!
