Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 171: Chapter 171: Test Flight and Armed Merchant Cabinet Mecha

The airship quickly ascended to a height of a hundred meters in the air.

Below, Tasuya, Luna, and Aisha all simultaneously raised their heads, using one hand to shield their eyes from the sunlight.

”Wow!”

”Lord has taken to the skies!”

In the skies above the territory, a goblin airship climbed higher and higher, gradually attracting the attention of the subjects below.

At this time, Zong Shen, who was in the airship, was also full of excitement.

The view from the high altitude was excellent, and combined with today’s fine weather, Zong Shen could see very far through the porthole, with the territory below becoming smaller as the airship rose.

Zong Shen was able to see the territories of other lords scattered like stars around his own.

Many territories were situated at the rise and fall of the terrain or beside forests, leaving blind spots in everyday exploration, but from this high vantage point, they were completely unobscured, and no view could compare to that from the sky.

”Ascend to about a kilometer, take me on a cruise to the west.”

”Just make sure to return to the territory before consuming too much magic energy.”

Zong Shen looked around and instructed the goblin driver.

”As you command, dear sir!”

”Carlos, it’s my turn to take the helm!”

The two goblins exchanged positions.

This airship required only one pilot, who could steer the airship by adjusting the set of wings.

Once in cruise mode, it didn’t even need to be controlled, with the pilot only needing to navigate and handle emergencies.

The airship slowly turned in the air, as the four sets of turbofan wind turbines under the cabin changed position and began to jet airflow.

Four streams of airflow propelled the airship westward.

The speed wasn’t slow, equivalent to a fine horse galloping at full speed on flat ground.

And in the air, as long as the weather was suitable, there was no need to worry about the influence of terrain.

Continuing westward for about ten minutes covered a distance of about a dozen kilometers.

From a height of a kilometer, an ordinary territory appeared only the size of a coin, and the clear view could see tens of kilometers beyond.

This allowed Zong Shen to discover a couple of territories of considerable size, whose development was on par with Jiang Yi’s at the inception, if not slightly better.

They could be considered standouts among the lords of this area, but these were not the focal points.

Zong Shen’s gaze remained fixed westward, and at the extreme limit where his vision became blurred, at least one to two hundred kilometers away, there was a large stretch of dark forest, where several black dots seemed to be circling above.

At this distance, it wasn’t clear what those black dots were, but it was conceivable that they were likely gigantic raptors with lengths of over ten meters or even dozens of meters.

The skies nearby were equally uneasy.

Not long ago, a pair of griffins flew from south to north over the airship, entering the northern mountains.

They showed little interest in the airship and had no intentions of attacking.

”Let’s head back.”

Zong Shen ordered the return.

There was still enough magic energy remaining for the ship to sail for another eleven or twelve minutes.

Overall, the goblin airship’s consumption was quite high; magic energy crystals are a high-energy by-product mineral, some of which Zong Shen had previously found in mines using mining carts.

Although Zong Shen currently had a batch of magic energy crystals on hand, to regularly use magical energy equipment, it was necessary to conquer that segment of the mine quickly.

Building an Ore Refining Plant, having kobolds start mining, and using the Burden-Bearer Mecha to connect the mine and the territory.

Zong Shen stood in the airship’s cockpit thinking, driving the airship wasn’t difficult, and Zong Shen had already committed the method to memory.

After more than ten minutes, just as there were still more than 180 points of magic energy left, the airship smoothly landed on the vacant space next to the pasture in the territory.

”Can this airbag remain inflated?”

Zong Shen inquired.

The two goblin drivers shut down the airship’s magic energy core and immediately responded.

”For long stays, it’s best to deflate it to save some space.”

”If you don’t mind the space the large airship’s airbag occupies, you can keep it inflated for a quick takeoff when needed!”

They wore expressions of contentment, driving the Tearer Mecha was nowhere near as thrilling as piloting the airship.

”Alright, I understand, you both come with me for another trip.”

Zong Shen waved, leading the way out of the cabin and swiftly returned to the courtyard gate.

The two goblin drivers eagerly followed Zong Shen.

After the goblin airship’s test flight, the only thing left in his hands was Boswell’s cargo mecha that had yet to be inspected.

Zong Shen raised his hand to retrieve it, placing it on the vacant ground at the courtyard entrance.

(After starting, be sure not to directly enter business mode, first control the mecha to extend the right arm three times, then take two steps with the left leg, before opening the cabinet, or the core will explode, which is the goblins’ safety measure)

Zong Shen examined the attributes of the Armed Merchant Cabinet Mecha and the strategy tips.

These goblins had left some safety measures.

Without knowing the rules and hastily starting, one would likely suffer a big loss.

”This... this this...”

”This kind of resembles a merchant cabinet mecha.”

”But it’s somewhat different from the style of our day.”

”Look at those majestic shoulders, the design is really nice.”

”This type of mecha is only equipped for a Merchant Captain; look here, this is also the badge of the Hot Sand Group.”

The two goblin drivers were surprised once again.

”Sir, you didn’t rob a goblin merchant team, did you?”

Zong Shen nodded slightly, without giving a direct answer.

”My god! You are so strong! Goblin merchant teams often travel with a few powerful ogre slaves.”

”Those ogres are hard to deal with!”

”You really are remarkable!”

The two goblin drivers instead became excited.

They greatly admired Zong Shen for being able to procure good stuff from those stingy merchants.

Zong Shen didn’t think too much of it, just focused on activating the cargo mecha to extract all the stored goods inside.

The Armed Merchant Cabinet Mecha’s cockpit was also designed for goblin size, and for safety reasons, letting the goblin driver in front of him operate the mecha was just right.
