The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 1262: Chapter 471: Palace Scheming Is No Match for Rebellion (Part 8)_3

I, I was forced by you.

He Tiantian was not intimidated by Emperor Yongcheng’s accusatory gaze, and instead, she continued to ask in confusion: ”Don’t you like Zheng Nianer? Didn’t you say you wanted to marry her?”

After saying this, He Tiantian seemed to realize something, and pretending to be suddenly enlightened, she let out an ”Oh,” saying, ”I understand now, you want Nianer to go home to await marriage?!”

”It should indeed be so. Although she shares a deep affection with you, she is not a parentless orphan after all!”

”Even if she were an orphan, there is no reason for her to marry from her in-laws’ house!”

He Tiantian appeared very understanding and seemed reasonable and kind.

But, to Emperor Yongcheng’s ears, these words were sarcastic and mocking!

Deliberate!

She was doing it on purpose!

She clearly knew everything but deliberately spoke such infuriating words.

Emperor Yongcheng was infuriated to the point of popping a vein.

Helplessly sending away the wet nurse, the grief of love, and the humiliation of being intentionally ignored by his own mother, he finally lowered his head, personally came to seek reconciliation, only to be treated in this way.

Emperor Yongcheng was not a person with a good temper, and after being provoked several times, he directly burst out.

”Enough! Mother, are you truly my biological mother?”

”From childhood to adulthood, you have always pressured me, ignored me, and forced me to do things I dislike!”

”I revered Father Emperor, yet you dismissed my feelings and called me immature and ungrateful!”

”I wished for harmony with my elder brother, yet you called me foolish and unable to distinguish right from wrong.”

”...Whether it was in studying or martial arts, you were always dissatisfied with me, thinking I was not good enough to be your son!”

”You always claimed it was for my own good, but did you ever truly know what I wanted?”

”I longed for a strict yet loving father, compassionate mother, and harmonious siblings. I wanted to be loved and cared for!”

”Sob, Father Emperor despises me, and you ignore me. Only the wet nurse truly cared for me, yet you blamed her for ’overstepping.’”

”Now, you even... Could it be that in your heart, I am so unworthy of possessing these?”

Emperor Yongcheng was like a long-repressed volcano, once erupted, the fury was overwhelming.

His voice hoarse, his eyes full of accusation.

By the end, he was in tears, feeling he was the most pitiable person in the world.

The main culprit of all his misfortunes was none other than Empress Dowager He, seated high above.

If this woman had even a glimmer of warmth left, she would feel guilty and apologize for her actions!

He Tiantian:... Dream on!

Bam!

He Tiantian threw the teacup in her hand.

The delicate white porcelain bowl, along with the warm tea, shattered at Emperor Yongcheng’s feet.

The shards scattered, and the tea flowed freely.

Emperor Yongcheng jumped, startled, and dodged to the side.

He wasn’t hit by the teacup, nor was he cut by the shards, only his boots and pants got splattered with droplets.

”Mother?!”

Emperor Yongcheng was shocked, unable to believe that his biological mother would raise her hand against him.

In his youth, due to studying and martial arts, Emperor Yongcheng had suffered scolding and punishment from his mother.

But it was usually limited to a slap on the hand.

His mother was a reserved person; she wouldn’t behave like a shrew, throwing things and losing her temper carelessly.

Moreover, he wasn’t a child anymore; he was now the Emperor of the Dayuan Dynasty.

Even though she was the Empress Dowager, she couldn’t just strike him directly.

”I’m not your biological mother? If you weren’t my own, would I have tolerated you, indulged you, cared for you to this extent?”

”Saying I don’t know what you want? Blaming me for always pressuring you?”

”Then let me ask you, which of the things you wanted to do did not come to fruition?”

”I loathed Lady Hu, thinking she was a deceitful villain, forbade her from the palace, yet you kept her, even allowing others to call her a lady.”

”Hmph, what kind of lady is she? Does she really think being favored for a couple of days makes her a Noble? Their servant contracts are still in my hands!”

”... And Zheng Nianer, you said you liked her and wanted to marry her. I agreed, yet you turned around and sent her out of the Imperial Palace!”

”Sending her away, fine, but then you come to me making a fuss!”

”Zhao Gui, tell me yourself, to what extent must I, as your mother, go to satisfy you?”

After Emperor Yongcheng’s outburst, He Tiantian did not back down, but unleashed her fury as well.

She pointed at Emperor Yongcheng, scolding him furiously until he was left speechless.

”...” What could he say?

Should he admit that he never intended to make Zheng Nianer Empress, that it was all just a ploy to fool his mother?

Emperor Yongcheng realized the true meaning of ”biting off more than one can chew”!

However, he did not know this was just the beginning; what followed would anger him even more...
