The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 746: Chapter 299 Excuse_3

It’s really hard to look back on the past, He Tiantian hated playing the villain in her first few missions, where she was definitely the main culprit.

Now, she wasn’t on a mission and didn’t need to worry about any foolish character setting, He Tiantian had truly arrived in the military camp, and her heart leaped with joy.

Seeing those approachable and respectable people, her respect was truly heartfelt.

Seeing He Tiantian’s slightly frail body standing up straight, her childish face filled with respect and admiration, she looked just like all the passionate young people. A smile tinged the eyes of the middle-aged man leading the group.

Good child, indeed a good child!

But now wasn’t the time to talk about that, time was pressing, and he had to solve all the problems at hand as quickly as possible.

”I am an engineer from Factory 3518, my surname is Feng, you can call me Mr. Feng. I am responsible for the modification of the Model 11 semi-automatic pistol.”

”Half a month ago, the Capital City sent us a few blueprints, and I was responsible for reviewing and experimenting...”

Mr. Feng didn’t waste any words and got straight to the point. He not only took out the design drawings He Tiantian had sent to Professor Chen but also showed her several sample models made according to the blueprints.

”We’ve already tested them, and after modifications, the Model 11 pistol’s effective range has reached 800 meters, and both its power and stability have improved considerably!”

”He Tiantian, can you tell us how you improved it? What’s the principle?”

Mr. Feng’s tone was excited, his gaze towards He Tiantian filled with anticipation.

The effective range of a pistol is 500 meters, which relates to the design principles of the pistol among other factors.

It’s very difficult to increase the effective range while also strengthening the stability and safety of the firearm.

Yet, according to the blueprints provided by He Tiantian, the modified Model 11 could incredibly reach 800 meters.

There was nothing wrong with the modified Model 11 pistol, and the military brought He Tiantian in mostly because they wanted to know how she designed it.

Moreover, the military harbored another wild hope: since He Tiantian could upgrade the Model 11 pistols and Model 10 sniper rifles, could she possibly have more and better designs?!

”...Can I try it first?”

He Tiantian didn’t rush to explain, her eyes fixed firmly on those pistols.

The black color, the exquisite craftsmanship, it was just so appealing.

To be honest, although He Tiantian had shot guns in the novel world and had trained her shooting skills to a proficient level,

that was after all a virtual world, somewhat similar to playing a video game.

In the real world, He Tiantian had never really touched such firearms.

Her heart itched, and so did her hands!

Mr. Feng was stunned for a moment but then smiled, ”Sure! Major Yuan, why don’t you guide Ms. He Tiantian!”

Mr. Feng didn’t directly ask if He Tiantian knew how to use a gun but used a more tactful expression.

”No need, I, I haven’t shot a gun, but I’ve studied them!”

He Tiantian excitedly took a pistol and under the astonished or probing gazes of the crowd, operated it skillfully.

Click-click!

He Tiantian loaded the magazine, walked to the edge of the firing range, released the safety, held the pistol with both hands, and pulled the trigger.

Bang!

Bang! Bang!

A few crisp sounds, a slight recoil felt in her hands, He Tiantian was initially a bit uncomfortable.

But after three or four shots, she got used to the feeling.

And the shooting skills honed in the novel world completely showed.

Actually, without looking at the target paper, just by seeing how He Tiantian loaded the magazine and held the gun, Mr. Feng, Yuan Hao, and others knew, this girl was a gun expert.

But the question arose again, she was a high school girl with an ordinary background, simple personal relations, who had never been in contact with the military or firearms, how could she possess such advanced shooting skills?!

”It’s nothing really, I’ve always liked watching dramas since I was young, TV series about wars, military shows, I watched them a lot!”

Facing everyone’s skepticism, He Tiantian smiled and said, ”Soldier Assault, I Am Special Forces series, absolutely my go-to binge-watching shows.”

”Watching a lot also makes you learn, and I also specifically studied many books on firearms, so—”

He Tiantian shrugged, displaying that annoyingly proud expression typical of a ”genius”.

Learn by just watching?!

What kind of outrageous statement is that?

It made everyone ordinary just can’t help but feel envy, jealousy, and hate.

But, although they felt the explanation was unlikely and potentially inciting jealousy, Mr. Feng and the others had to admit—

There truly are geniuses in this world.

Some soldiers need a massive amount of ammunition to achieve the legend of a Gun God.

While some, the very first time they touch a gun, seem as if the Gun God himself has possessed them.

He Tiantian’s first few shots, as everyone saw, showed her unfamiliarity, but she got better and better, as if she was born a Sharpshooter.

A thought flashed through Mr. Feng’s mind, and he suddenly said, ”He Tiantian, next month our training base will have a Special Soldier training camp, would you like to join?”
