The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 393: Chapter 176: The Female Lead’s Aunt (Part 14)_2

”Besides yourself, don’t excessively trust anyone—including this so-called best friend of yours and your little uncle with a history!”

He Tiantian didn’t care that her words might be misunderstood by Su Muxue.

Su Muxue: ...

Upon hearing this, she indeed felt a bit uncomfortable.

After all, Little Uncle was her relative, and they had grown up together, sharing years of affection for over a decade.

Especially after her parents had passed away, Su Muxue had profound trust and dependence on her grandmother and Little Uncle.

But, Su Muxue also understood He Sitian’s character and knew she wasn’t someone who would make baseless accusations just to sow discord.

In reality, He Sitian was the type who wouldn’t care about matters that didn’t concern her, a totally indifferent and selfish Eldest Miss.

Even when it came to relatives who needed care, if she didn’t like them, she simply wouldn’t bother.

Why else would she, going against the taboo of ”distancing makes the hearts grow fonder,” repeatedly remind Su Muxue?

Why?

Wasn’t it because Sister Sitian truly cared about her and held her close to her heart?

Su Muxue felt a warmth inside her, the feeling of being cared for and loved was truly wonderful!

”Mm! Sister Sitian, I got it!”

Without needing a reminder from He Sitian, when Su Muxue had seen Little Uncle secretly meeting with Assistant Zhou, she had already become wary.

She didn’t want to think too badly of her limited remaining relatives, but she trusted her eyes, her brain, and her intuition more.

Little Uncle, it seemed, really had changed.

Or perhaps, Little Uncle had never changed; he had just been pretending all along.

Realizing this, Su Muxue’s impression of Little Uncle slowly crumbled.

Therefore, when Little Uncle quickly finalized the divorce with Sister Sitian, was disowned by the He Family, and flamboyantly spent thirty million on a mansion to pick Su Muxue up from school to live with him, Su Muxue politely declined.

”Little Uncle, living in the dorm is pretty good. Look, I just finished my finals, and my average score has increased by five points.”

”Following this trend, I might even rank among the top ten in the city in the college entrance exam...”

Su Muxue had ample reasons, backed by clear evidence.

Zhao Yongkang couldn’t persist either, only smiling and saying, ”Alright then, keep staying at the dorm. However, summer vacation is approaching. After you break, you must come home to stay!”

Su Muxue: ”Okay, I know!”

Staying at Little Uncle’s newly bought mansion wasn’t a problem, but, Su Muxue’s guard was fully up.

And, she kept in touch with her Sister Sitian.

During the summer vacation, Su Muxue even decided to intern at Sister Sitian’s company.

Mm, the ”internship” proposition was actually brought up by Sister Sitian.

She seemed certain that she could become the ”Overbearing Boss” and was keen on training Su Muxue in that direction.

Su Muxue: ...

Uh, she wasn’t against becoming a strong woman, but being an ”Overbearing Boss” felt awkward indeed.

The title felt as if aligned with the arrogant Leng Mo.

And Su Muxue truly detested Leng Mo—man, that’s a complicated story.

Perhaps feeling that he had secured the Holographic Technology and could dominate the business world again, Overbearing Boss Leng finally stepped out of his heavy workload to continue pursuing his girl.

However, his pursuit, in Su Muxue’s eyes, was nothing but revolting harassment.

Despite having finished her exams and nearly starting her vacation, the school’s management seemed a bit relaxed.

Leng Mo would park his luxury car in a secluded corner, sending his assistant or his driver, bodyguard, to ”fetch” people.

Su Muxue: ...Crazy! Maybe they’ve watched too many movies like The Godfather and really think they’re ancestors.

Pursuing a girl while still putting on airs with a superior attitude.

For such men who love to show off and have no respect for women in their bones, Su Muxue only wanted to say one word to him—Scram!

”I don’t know any President Leng, and I’m not going with you. If you keep pestering me, I’ll call the teachers and the police.”

Facing those tasked with ”inviting” her, Su Muxue didn’t respond harshly.

She calmly stated a fact.

That is, this is harassment, and if you don’t stop immediately, I will seek legal help.

The assistants and others went away disappointed, and after several attempts, it seemed that even Overbearing Boss Leng couldn’t maintain his aloof and superior attitude and furiously made his way to the school gate.

Successfully intercepting Su Muxue, Overbearing Boss Leng looked at her with a ”you’ve successfully caught my attention” gaze, and with a patronizing tone, said, ”I’ve come personally, Muxue, go on a date with me?”
