The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 361: Chapter 165: Tormented Female Lead’s Aunt (Part 3)_3

He Sitian didn’t understand these things, but she knew how to let go and was willing to invest more.

However, a spy had emerged within the group, and the newly designed robot program code had been leaked.

A rival company had rushed to apply for a patent, and as the original creator, Lady He was unable to produce it without facing infringement lawsuits!

The intelligent robot project had seen massive investment in the early stages, but now it had all come to nothing.

It wasn’t just the investment that had gone to waste, but more importantly, the impact on the group.

When the rival company rushed to file the patent and quickly launched a new product, their stock price soared by more than ten points.

In contrast, Jinma Group had just announced it would introduce true artificial intelligence, but in the end, there was no clear news.

Actually, that wasn’t the worst of it.

Behind the scenes was the Overbearing Boss Leng Mo.

Directly, he had people spread rumors that Lady He was deceiving investors with fake experiments and even suggested that Lady He might have stolen Jinma Group’s ideas...

Negative news flew everywhere, causing Lady He’s stock price to plummet in an instant.

In just two days, the company’s market value had evaporated by over a billion yuan.

Lady He was merely a regional conglomerate, far from being a major financial consortium.

A loss of over a billion yuan, for a company already compromised by leaks, was adding insult to injury, akin to a house falling apart just as the night rain struck.

He Tiantian: ...you might not believe it, but I just opened an artificial intelligence Treasure Box.

He Tiantian compared the artificial intelligence technology she had learned in the Treasure Box Space with the latest technology in this fictional world.

She found that the technology she mastered far surpassed the current level of science and technology.

To use an imperfect analogy, the artificial intelligence that was popular in the market could not be considered truly intelligent; it was more like a programmatic semi-intelligence, like Student Xiao Ai.

True artificial intelligence, according to He Tiantian’s understanding, should be like Jarvis from Iron Man, or Big White from Big Hero 6.

They possess independent thought and can make the most effective decisions based on specific situations.

Becoming true assistants to humans, excellent companions in both life and combat.

”Just like me, right, Tiantian!”

Student Xiao D sensed He Tiantian’s inner voice and said happily.

He Tiantian hooked her lip corner into a socially acceptable smile and noncommittally responded with a ”Hmm.”

”So, Tiantian, you should also replicate a ’me’ in this fictional world!”

Despite He Tiantian’s nonchalance, Student Xiao D failed to notice it and instead suggested excitedly, ”My name is Student Xiao D. The new intelligent assistant you develop could be named Xiao E, Xiao F, and so on!”

”...Sure!”

He Tiantian actually wanted to replicate a Big White directly.

But the leap was too great, and the required period was also relatively long.

With Lady He’s crisis imminent, creating a simplified version of Student Xiao D was doable.

He Tiantian had a flash of inspiration, took out her notebook, and began typing away.

Arriving at the company, He Tiantian did not go to the president’s office on the top floor but instead to the research and development department on the ninth floor.

The staff in the artificial intelligence development department were working overtime with frowns on their faces.

With the core code leaked, there actually wasn’t any need to continue their efforts.

But doing nothing didn’t seem right either.

Rumors about Lady He were spreading outside, and the group’s stock price was plummeting.

As the ”chief culprit” of the incident, the R&D department was under the greatest pressure.

The director of the R&D department, He Yonghao, was so worried he was nearly pulling out his already sparse hair.

But such development efforts couldn’t be achieved with mere determination and struggle.

It required technology, inspiration, and teamwork.

Damn it, it was all Li Cheng’s fault!

He seemed honest and straightforward, with thick eyebrows and big eyes, but turned out to be a traitor.

Although there was no concrete evidence that he was the leak, he resigned from Lady He and immediately afterward, Jinma Group announced a new product similar to Lady He’s original creation.

Such an obvious clue could be figured out with toes.

But Li Cheng had already left the country, and even if they wanted to settle the score, they couldn’t catch him right now.

”...Alas, we’re really finished this time!”

He Yonghao lay helplessly on his desk, devoid of any fighting spirit.

”What’s finished?”

He Tiantian asked indifferently.

He Yonghao shared a surname with He Tiantian, but they had no relationship.

He was discovered and promoted by the deputy president in charge of research and development.

However, He Yonghao still showed the basic respect for He Tiantian, the nominal helmswoman of Lady He.

Although President He didn’t handle affairs, she also didn’t meddle in the group’s businesses.

For the second-generation heir to not cause any trouble, the executives of the group were quite content—what more could they ask for, right!

”President He, you’ve come!”

He Yonghao quickly stood up and greeted her respectfully.

”Yes, I’ve got a new program. I don’t understand it either, but you specialize in this stuff, come take a look—can this work?”

He Tiantian took out the program she had just written in the car and handed the USB drive directly to He Yonghao...
